I can agree with a lot of what is being said here. 1. Attitude brings a lot to the table. If I see someone making excuses when they lose, being an ass when they win, or just detrimental to what I think the community is about, I ignore the person regardless of skill. 2. The people on here won't change, so the best you can do it avoid the ones that you dislike being around because.. 3. It's a game. If you aren't enjoying it, you don't need to be playing it. If you're one of those guys that just has to be "da bes" so you can have your outlet, I hope you can enjoy the road to the top because you're wasting your time otherwise. GGs to everyone I played today. I had some really good matches and feel that I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. I hope everyone is staying warm to a degree.

It will when you first return, but it will come back soon. I find that I also approach matches differently after a break and it helps get out of a rut of sorts when it comes to situational choices.

I know that, since coming back from a couple weeks off during the holidays, I felt I was being absolutely destroyed. I didn't have a plan during the match and hesitated a lot. A week later, I feel like I'm just now starting to get back into it. I understand the frustration of playing online against random people, however if you're feeling put off enough to vent to this degree on the forums, I suggest you take a break. There may be a few of the people you're wishing to play that just wanted to wait until the American release. I suggest walking away for a little bit. Edit: Spacing for legibility.

Yeah. I've always enjoyed the 22A stuff. That doesn't mean I don't drop some 3C > 22A > 3C combos online, but I've always been a fan of the switching.

I agree. If someone is acting like an arrogant ass, I just avoid playing them regardless of skill. I understand this could be their only outlet in life and I'm not going to change their attitude with a little conversation, so I find ignoring them to be the best option. I just "gg" and go somewhere else. I'd do the same in a real arcade. As for mechanic pet peeves; being hit out of wake up barrier, being hit when trying to CA, and Jin grabs..I know they're coming, but my tech still does nothing. I'm not sure if I attribute these all to lag (I don't think it helps) all of the time, but sometime I feel it definitely influences the outcome.

I've heard people enjoy the 360 controller, but even when I used to use a pad, I enjoyed the PS3 d-pad and loathed the 360 one. One perk to having a stick though IS the fact that I can open it up and work on it...once I get the stripped allen screw out. I'd rather just switch around the buttons and order a new one for a few bucks than have to buy a new controller, but to each their own. Edit: Battousai, I look forward to it. Sorry that had to happen right then.

As far as the mod discussion, I agree with Toan. I think those of us that are active in the Nu community should work together to better the information available to everyone. We don't need mod privileges to help with the wiki and we shouldn't leave it all on Hex's shoulders. He's a "moderator" of the forums, so he can analyze and moderate the content we put in. Just my 2 cents.
