  1. Just play in a tournament. It doesn't matter if you're terrible or not. Meet new people and we can probably help you out. It's the best way to get involved in a fighting game community than stay at home with bb netplay and being a stream monster. Besides, it shouldn't be too far from you. There are people who enter tournaments even though they don't play the game. Yes, there are casuals on the side but you should enter the tournament.
  2. Shout outs! Spirit Juice - for being a fag and capping entrants to 32! jk It's all good. Coopa - for getting hit by run up overheads. lols I feel so out of practice after I played you. Chun - Thanks for all the hard work you've put into this and overseeing the events. And thanks for getting me some food to eat from Hoagies! CopperDabbit - for getting 1st place again. Gratz yo. Dacidbro - for being not free but you're only worth a penny. Dakanya/Tsubasa/YAT/Tenkai/Tone - helping me learn MB. It was so much fun playing the game even though I got bodied. GGs. I look forward to playing you guys again. I wish more people played. D: KatanaDash - for running GG. Good stuff. Vineeth - for being pretty homo. Willy - for getting 4th place. Better luck next time but you're doing really well. Keep it up! Kelvin - thanks for doing random miscellaneous stuff for me! Rin - for thinking he entered the tournament but really didn't! Make sure you talk to me or Scott once we get there about signing up. lols And recording footage.
  3. Hardly. You'll see dacidbro there and maybe orionxelite?
  4. By doing 63214c (SoD), you buy yourself time to set up steins. Unless you're about to kill them and you have the meter to spare, then go for the combos.
  5. It seems like there's too much of a gap between 2[d] and 63214c. So characters with a DP, 360, or some kind of reversal can counter it on regular block. On ib, you can 5a her between the laser and 63214c. Pretty risky set up to me but I'm sure it's ok to throw it in there every once in a while.
  6. MacQuarrie Hall is on the South side of campus. And yes it's right next to the 7th street garage.
  7. I know it won't happen because I've actually parked at SJSU past midnight. We'll be ok.
  8. Just find an SJSU student's account to use for streaming. Does the CS clubroom have any ethernet ports in the walls or anything? If so, then you can just bring an ethernet cable there and hook it up. You get a much better connection that way. But yea....SJSU wireless is actually pretty meh from my experience.
  9. Coopa, probably a splitter or converter of some sort, HDMI > component or HDMI > DVI > component. That's just my guess.
  10. In a small corner of a poverty building. That's its location.

Happy Birthday yo! Hope you did something fun!

  12. You don't know risky until you've played CS noel. Where pretty much everything you do is high risk minus a few things but those few things don't really net you much damage. Oh and shout outs to Allen Chang for taking 1st in BB and he doesn't even play the game.
  13. 5b whiffs on crouchers at max range pretty much. You have to be like within 50-75% of it's max range for it to hit crouchers. Exception would be Litchi and anybody else that has a really low crouching hitbox. It'll probably whiff during makoto's and noel's 3c completely.
  14. From what I've seen, she's pretty much the same with the exception of her 5c having less range but faster startup.
  15. Mu really needed a faster 5c more than range imo. Good stuff to know!
  16. That doesn't work on nonCH 3c or even CH 3c. Just tested it.
  17. It only works against 99% of Tagers in America. The other 1% either don't play standard Tager and suck or they have different set ups nobody has seen before. CR is ok if used correctly. But yea....CR is pretty much all she has after the nerfs. tbh, Noel or well...BBCS in general is mostly a defensive game where you rely on IB punishes in really high-level play. This works well with Noel using 5D and 2D depending on the move you think your opponent will do next. I don't think any character really should be on the offensive unless you're top tier or have momentum. Look on the bright side, at least Noel can be used competitively and is in SBO unlike 2 other characters in BBCS, Tsubaki and Rachel.
  18. 214D~A is 19f. No matter what level it is. Maybe you might want to look at the Hazama's frame data. For the record, the start up for Hazama's chains are either 15f or 16f.
  19. I guess....you might be able to get one out and block. I don't think he would guess wrong since Hazama should be reacting to where you're going next. Even if he were to use the wrong chain he can cancel it with A. It's possible you could get a few but it'd be pretty risky. I wouldn't be surprised if Mu still got punished.
  20. Some people go to SVGL on wednesdays I guess. I haven't been there in months. I probably don't really have any reason to. I hear cab has shit parts and I live farther away so I don't think it's really worth it for me imo. But as far as I know in terms of the special, SVGL should still have their wednesday special.
  21. Gauntlet hades is a move of Ragna's...not Hazama's. It's called Rising Fang....I wouldn't really count on being out of range of the snake because it's only a small distance that Hazama can easily cover by jumping forward.
  22. Uhh...Hazama doesn't have gauntlet hades... You also might want to put some pressure on Hazama before you summon steins.
  23. Shout outs to spirit juice tasting the rainbow.
  24. Good thing they prorate otherwise Litchi would guard break and get 5k combos every single time with oki. Or hell even Lambda. But yea like getting some damage is better than getting nothing. @Tempest Dahlia: As for getting mashed out, then teach them to not mash out by standing a bit farther and mash 6c or run up backdash 6c. And BB doesn't need guaranteed oki. If you want guaranteed oki, go play GG.
