  1. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12187310 Japanese Hakumen vs. Valk matches.
  2. So for those who have him, does he feel really complex to use? Who would you compare him to execution wise? From video footage he looks pretty complex.
  3. You gotta give this guy credit, though. He actually knows how to LOCK ON. This puts him leagues above your average american.
  4. It's like people don't even comprehend a single thing the game tells them. I'm surprised he was even able to beat campaign to unlock ky. No wonder people don't play this. I would quit pretty fast too, if I played in such a brain dead fashion.

  6. Yeah, check it out. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?9832-XBL-3V3-Same-Character-Tourney.-Shake-off-October-Rust
  7. So is anyone interested in forming a Tsubaki team for the 3x same character xbl tourny? I want to rep Tsubaki so much, because I hate how negative everyone is about her.
  8. Is it true that Tsubaki is the best character in the game, people just don't know it yet?
  9. Well I just got some new internet, so I definitely want to play this more. I got alot of practicing to do though, since I tried to play with the Japanese today, and it was pretty embarrassing to say the least. Now that I think back, it's been over a year since the last time I've played this game seriously, so I'm just so far behind and out of practice. I was still able to beat them up in master combat though, but that doesn't mean much.
  10. Ehhh, it just seems like the Blazblue effect again. Most of the GG2 players are playing CS right now, so maybe after a month or so they will be back to playing GG2 again...maybe.
  11. Well, I'm not the only one that uses my 360, in fact, I barely use it, so that's probably why.
  12. naa, talking to anyone.
  13. I would still play, it's just that I'm not going to waste my time setting stuff up anymore, because when I do, nobody ends up playing, or if they play, it's 1 or 2 matches before they go. I'll let others set up the stuff, so I can ruin all the fun (joking lol).
  14. I would play with you, but you never message me to play.
  15. Raven's teleport move is hax. You can camp with this move and just wait for your opponent to do anything and punish them with it, or catch them off guard while they are busy doing something else. Slow down, teleport, why more people don't abuse this is beyond me. Maybe the japanese players have too much of that samurai honor in them, but I like to win no matter what, and that stuff wins. Btw, people should use superbackstep more. Trolling your opponent with superbackstep everytime they try to approach is too funny, and it stops your opponent from targeting you, so you can gank them. What are you playing on PS3, Ayumu? I had a ps3, but it screwed up after I finished MGS4, and I always wanted to get another one, but every game I play nowadays is multiplat, so I'm just waiting for some cool exclusives before I get another one.
  16. I hate the replays off the leaderboard. Everyone only uploads replays where they pwnsauce someone anyways. Hardly ever any good interesting matches.
  17. exploits in the game system are in like ever single japanese made game ever, and the exploits usually make the game more fun, lol. Anyways, AJ figured out all kinds of awkward stuff, like the 4th hit of the lockoff string causing stun, and how to combo into holy brand with Ky. We used to practice some interesting combos and stuff together, and he has a lot of stuff that he doesn't want to share with others.
  18. You know what's funny about AJ? He gets even more dangerous when he runs out of tension, idk how, but he just does. I would always be like sweet he just wasted all his tension, and I still have half of mine, and then 1 minute later I'm respawning at my masterghost, lol. The hammer didn't really get any new moves, they changed the second charge animation, and one of the animations of the 2 second finisher of hurricane. Why the hammer is so good now, is because they beefed up it's combo flexibility BIGTIME. You can cancel the 2nd and 3rd hit of your normal string into charge, you can cancel the side smack into charge as well, but side smack sucks. The first and second charge can be canceled into normal attack string. It's just way more flexibility to get stuns more easily. Also the second charge animation they changed, they changed it to a badass sliding uppercut that is so godly for fast approaches. I do miss hunting horn and gunlance, though. They were my favorite in MHFU.
  19. AJ doesn't exclusively play Sol, he also uses Izuna as his secondary, and Sin and Ky at times, but none of them even half as good as his Sol. Although, I'm not saying that it's all the character and not the player, but Sol has the flexibility and power that allows AJ to capitalize when necessary, and I understand what that is. Most of my wins have come from Sol, anyways. I mean I switched to Sol just because of how easy it is to win with him. He is not even my favorite in the game, I just use him cause I guess I'm a tier whore kind of person...lol. Ironically enough, I used to call Sol low tier myself, but that was when I focused too much on servant play with him.
  20. Because you underestimate Sol, and the things you call problems are only problems because you let them be. You would understand more, if you had got to play with FlameMasterAJ alot. AJ would wreck people in master combat all day long, even in the most impossible situations. One good example was when we did a team battle, and to save me he ran into an enemy ghost that I was at that had a fire wheel, engulfer, and all kinds of other stuff. He had barely any tension and half health, but he still took down the other master pretty easily. You play Sol far too conservative, which is why you have so many problems. Also, you have gunflame and breakdown, both of these moves knock lots of servants on the ground, so your opponent can't really hide for crap when against Sol, bananas can be destroyed, alot of sins attacks can be punished on reaction by Sol. Ky is forced to play turtle, because of his god awful normals, Paradigm can't fight, or run for crap. If he wants to try to knock you on the ground, don't let him, it's easy enough to see coming. Anyways, I think you've created a mental block, because of how much you degrade Sol. I'm not trying to get into a bunch of psychology mumbo jumbo, but you seem to have convinced yourself that Sol is terrible, so it's going to be pretty hard to be good with him if you go into every fight thinking on the negative.
  21. HN tappu is good by default, since nobody even plays paradigm >.<. Guilty Blood does, but he is not the best player, hence why he is on my friends list, lol. I only added japanese players that I could beat up easily, haha.... Against Sol, Paradigm doesn't even stand a chance anyways... I mean the worst fighter against the best? It makes the matchup impossible for Paradigm. Even if Paradigm plays the best servant game in the world, as long as Sol keeps his masterghost safe, and can chase down Paradigm, he will win. Honestly Sol can just beat up every master easily. I don't even waste my time with servant play on Sol anymore, I just do enough to keep the enemy from overwhelming me, and than I focus all my efforts into hounding and gimping the other enemy master til they are dead. combos with mouth zipper and heavy feet are free kills. They can't run from you, and they can't dispel the slow down either...Sol is too strong, and yet nobody takes advantage of it. btw monster hunter 3 is the best. I love all the new monster themes, and hammer and lance are so sexy now.
  22. Well it would be silly to call Kimera bad just by losing a lot in 2v2. 2v2 matches are very unpredictable at times, and more for fun than an actual test of skill, imo. Not saying it doesn't require skill, but not necessarily as much as 1v1. Even if Kimera is not as good as he used to be, the matches I played against his valentine back then are definitely the most memorable matches I've ever had, and when I say memorable, I mean getting my ass kicked.
  23. New best strategy for Sol is to summon a bunch of servants and send them straight to the enemy masterghost. Summon a second batch and keep them around your masterghost, or on ghosts near your masterghost. Follow the servants that you sent to the enemy masterghost, hit everything in your way, capture all ghosts, and when you make it to the enemy masterghost you win. BTW, by the time you get to the enemy masterghost, you should have at least 50 DI, so yeah. Spend mana on items and stuff to help you out, if you need it. If capture cannon is available for purchase, this makes it even more of a free win. Keep 1, or 2 servants in your slots, and if the enemy master is stupid enough to try to stop you on your way, kill him, and go do some damage on his masterghost, maybe even kill it if he has no defenses at all. This is easy to do, because there will not be any elites out in the first round, so yeah, nothing to worry about. If the enemy master tries to attack your masterghost, just run back and kill his ass. Don't worry about your servants, just keep enough around your masterghost, so that no surprises can happen, and march with a group of at least 6 (I prefer 9), so that they can't be beaten easily by anything they would encounter in the first round. So what if someone knows this strategy? Well they can't counter it easily. If it's Sol against Sol, it just comes down to who does it better. If it's against anyone else, they can just wait to die, or they can try to do the same back to you, but you're Sol, and they are not, so yeah, you kill them and move on. Later I will tell my exact summoning process, and match progression, but I'm tired of typing right now, and it's not hard to figure out anyways. The point of this strategy is to win. Capturing the field and running around like a dork doesn't win the fight, depleting the enemies lifebar does, so lets not put more effort into achieving that than necessary. This also capitalizes on Sol's strengths. As you may know, letting the fight drag on long enough for your enemy to unlock a variety of servants and build a foundation is what can result in a loss while playing as Sol. The second the fight starts, Sol is at his strongest potential, so you have to capitalize ASAP. Why not just grab a bunch of servants at the start and rush them? Well this can work sometimes, if you're a truly strong fighter, but I like my method better, because it builds momentum and gives you mana to screw around with. oops, too much typing. Need to sleep. Oh and I'm very happy. Monster Hunter 3 is out today. I'm so excited.
  24. Let me guess. Kimera Cryin is number 1.......with everyone? Probably not, or at least I know he isn't with Ky, since his Ky is actually kind of crappy.
