Oh sh... I thought HN tappu was #1? Than who is the true NUMBER 1!???

Dude, that's just because Kimera is good, not Sin. Lol, I saw a replay of Kimera playing Dr. P, against another good Sin (can't remember his name though). Kimera tried to bumrush the enemy masterghost at the start with a handful of servants and his overdrive, and failed at it, which caused him to lose the whole battlefield. Despite that Kimera just started spamming dogs, and raped Sin to death taking the whole field back, and winning the fight.

Genma, Sol isn't as bad as you think. Sure the first roadblock is realizing that his servants can't assist him the same way that the others can, but at the same time that almost makes him easier to use, imo, since it's much easier to play a master effectively, than it is to be a master at servant play. Sol is kind of cheating in a way, since you can half ass your servant play, but as long as you run around beating the crap out of stuff in a fast and effective manner, you can win. Take advantage of this, I know I did. When I played with you, your Sol was far too conservative. When playing as Sol, you need to feel like you're the most badass, badass in the world.

Isiko was my first Japanese GG2 buddy. He isn't that good, but he is a cool guy. We got our asses kicked several times when teaming in 2v2. Ayumu, I sure miss the good ol days of Guilty Gear 2.

even though I suck, I can tell you for sure that cookingknights vids should be removed. He is insanely bad at this game.

Dude, I had a hard time finding this topic, although it's not like it matters, since I don't have anything worthwhile to say, but yeah. plz maek a seekwul arc.

SolBadguy what you said about VV reminded me of my fight with you >.>. Pretty much gave up this game after fighting a handful of fights that day with the same results of me owning the whole field, and then getting master downed to death from lots of VVs. I seriously hate Sol with a passion in online play, particularly after playing FlamemasterAJ. VV is stupid, especially since they give him most of his strongest combo opportunities off of it, and not being able to sidestep out of his guardbreak strings consistently in online play is so annoying. Pretty much the reasons why I ended up picking up Sol myself. Really, the only way to handle Sol while playing as other characters is to take advantage of every other aspect of the game, aside from actual combat. Have servants surrounding you when you fight him, use items against him, or just straight up camp against him, and spam super backsteps, or jumping and airdash away whenever you see him rushing in. Basically do anything you can to avoid letting Sol get on top of you, because once he does, you will either die, or by the time you get away you will have taken too much damage. There are only 2 surefire strategies that I know for beating Sol, and that is to pick Sol as well, or to play a defensive/camping Ky. As far as Ky goes, it's pretty much the same strategies for him as you would use against Sol. The difference is that you don't have to be afraid of letting Ky approach you, in fact you should probably let him approach, since his stun edge and thrust move make it somewhat hard to approach him depending on the situation. He has no practical guard break strings, so you if just wait it out until he throws out one of his more predictable attacks, you can get away and likely punish him. Raven is all about being annoying, so use his personal skills to the fullest. Once you slow an enemy down, there really isn't much they can do, if they don't have a dispel with them. Also, the teleport skill is very abusable. You can punish pretty much anything with it, and just randomly using it (in a non predictable manner) works quite well. Keep your distance and try to react to what they do with one of your needle moves. Try not to use the 8X dash move too much when approaching. It's so easy to punish when dodged that it's not even funny. Only throw it out as a mix up tool, or when you know the chances of it landing are high. Stick to his 5X string for pressure, since they can't VV in the middle of it, because of how fast it is. Normally in fighters if you fight someone who uses DPs alot you just train them into not using them as much, and that's really the same thing you would say in this game as well. The only thing is that the inputs are significantly easier here, and the combat in this game isn't as fast or flexible as a fighter, so it's much harder to avoid something like this even though it's so obvious.

I find Kou's Paradigm more annoying than any of his other characters. When he uses paradigm, he can out play me from the servant perspective, but I just beat him up in master combat, even though it's not my favorite way to win.
-
ggs to Xithmos, although ever since I've come back online me and Xithmos can never play any game together without getting really annoying lag.
-
Well I've always had a soft spot for Ky. He was the first person I mained, but I quickly dropped him once I started getting destroyed left and right with him, I always mess around with Ky here and there, though, but I'm not particularly that good with him, or not as good as I would like to be. The thing I have the most problems with is using him in master combat, I never really know what I want to do, or what I should be doing, since Ky has a lot of flexibility in how you can fight with him, and I haven't really found the way that works best for me.

GG to boundary and xSol Badguy. Pretty fun games. I'm trying to decide on who I want to main now, since I don't really feel like going back to Sol, or Sin, but It's so hard trying to pick up other characters, particularly Valentine, who I want to use so badly.

I finally got to play with Kou again after such a long time. We had some awesome matches.

Audiohaddock isn't really that good for how much he has played, but he is the first person that I played online with, and the person that I spent the most time playing online with, so his overwhelming playstyle is hard to tolerate when you have no clue what to do. On top of that, he was the one that I modeled a large portion of my Sol playstyle off of, so it was easy for him to beat me all the time when I played as Sol. Back in the day when I used to sit online 24/7, me and audio played all the time, especially since we were like the 2 outcasts of the online community that were avoided by most other players. Most Japanese players stopped playing with me once I became decent, which I'm assuming is because they didn't like fighting against someone good with all the lag you get when playing with them, which I can understand, because the lag is very annoying at times, and sometimes you feel like you get cheated, but I was so desperate for matches, and audio seemed pretty much the same way, so we played often. On a sidenote, though. We were pretty kickass in 2v2, because we would just be insanely reckless in how we played. Spamming drills and flying all over the place with Bandit revolvers definitely worked in our favor.
-
What does AudioHaddock want revenge on? I think he spent more time owning me, then I did him. Pretty much the only time I can ever beat Audio is when I use Ky, since Audio is so insanely aggressive, and Ky has many ways to stop aggression. The way Audio plays is just so wtf. He spams melee units, and runs all over the place hitting random things without a care in the world

You started the match poorly. A poor start with Sol means that you have no momentum for pretty much the whole match, so you need to work on starting strong with Sol, since his servants are going to get beat out in the long run. IMO, on that map you should hit the outside first, because the middle just gets way too messy, and hard to control without a concrete strategy.

I suck at this game now, anyways. I'm sure Ayumu could take me down in 1 round.
-
Triora is my favorite map.
-
I don't know if you guys knew this or not, but if you just stand around idle with Valentine, she will begin having conversations with her balloon thing. Some of the stuff they talk about is pretty amusing.
-
Genma, they also have sound clips of them saying the name of the elite armors, like they would if they were dropping them off from the personal slots, but obviously you can't even pick up elite armors, so it's clear that they recorded a bunch of stuff ahead of time that they thought they might need, and never ended up using it in the final game. As for the Raven dropping off servants, are you sure he didn't hit a capture unit earlier, and then just didn't drop the servant off until later? Once you hit a capture unit, you have somewhere around 10 seconds to drop a servant off, maybe more, maybe less. I never tested exactly how long you get to drop it.

Well it felt good to play again. I played a few matches with Panda62, my Japanese friend Gikozoh, and some other random american. Panda62 made the fights pretty hectic, since he was all over the map doing whatever, and he seemed to have a grudge against me, since we got in a few 3 way master showdowns, and he was going for me most of the time. I actually got him to fall for the standing over the mine trick, which was just too funny. Then me and Ayumu beat up xithmos and some other random japanese guy, but it was a laggy mess.
-
Ayumu, you gonna be on?
-
I'm not eager to do anything until I unlock Ky again.
-
Good thing for me, since real pros only play in arcades, and not on xbox live.
-
The combos that Sin did in that Ky vs Sin master fight pt 1 were pretty interesting. I never realized that the first hit of beak driver caused enough hit stun to allow follow ups without cancelling.
-
I'll probably just go pick up GG2 today, so anyone feel free to add me, who isn't already on my friend list. And I don't want to carl ditto yet. Not until I up my clap loop consistency in actual matches.
