  3. 4B, now your crouching specific combos feel like you're playing HnK (all hitstop should be HnK hitstop). I'm curious though about the knockdown on the second hit of 5D and j.D, because it doesn't list how techable it is. Guess I'll wait for an update from goro (if he even went to this loketest)

  14. Real talk, I have never played fighting games on pad. I don't see why anybody would want to. Also, the logic of how bang combos are somehow less droppable on pad makes no sense. Why would you be dropping the DP? Most of the time, I see people dropping bang things due to timing issues, which has nothing to do with your input device.

  18. Loketests indicate that gravity seed as a combo tool is a lot stronger, despite no longer being a DP. People were reporting that they could do 5C after mid-combo gravity pretty easily. Also, perhaps it might go into the 6A j.C j.2C loop that was mentioned on Goro's blog. Also, in the loketests, not only is 5C 6C loop stronger, crescent loop is weaker. SHRUG. LOKETESTS.
  19. Yo. I don't play TaoFTW. In fact, I'm not even basing this based on my own play experiences too much. I'm basing this on my understanding of my own character, and how her matchups, on an ideal level, should work.
  20. Wuku doesn't play hazama or anything. Nope.
  21. Lambda actually can zone tao. It just happens to be more difficult than any other character. Learn tao's trajectories, and learn which tools cover said trajectories. Low j.D covers a lot of tao's approach, and with minimal recovery if it whiffs because of landing. 2D and 6D, and even 5D have their uses. Regarding 236C, tao actually has to respect that at certain ranges, as a counterhit means half her health. Also, tao's ability to keep in on lambda, while good, isn't as good as say, bang. A lot of tao's strings lose to IB+Jump, and her options off of 6B aren't consistently scary, also, if you see a 6B, why block when you can superjump. Tao's 6C is nice at catching lambda's backdash, solution: stop backdashing, lambda's backdash has a lot of recovery at the end of it. There's a few other things, but I don't feel it's as bad as bang. (no, I did not contribute to this 100% correct matchup chart)
