  1. Additional Changes, as seen in the wiki: Cavalier is slower. Gravity field: Faster, cooldown shortened. On normal hit, stuns, forces crouch. Air hit floats higher, dash 6A goes under now, but 5C is stable most of the time. Untechable time is longer, more time to confirm 5C (?) Now a fatal counter.

  3. If you're going to learn a cavalier combo from that distance, just learn: 236C > (5C[8] > 6C)x3 > 6A > Crescent > Dash > (6A > Crescent)x2 > 6A > 2C > j.DD > dj.DD > j.214D

Just because it's the end of her DD doesn't mean it's necessarily "your turn". As far as dealing with her oki goes: Late neutral tech is good against Kokushii Musou (spinny punch staff thing). Against daisharin, if they use the 133333 movement pattern. You can neutral tech, instant block the first 3 hit, and super jump out. Against any of the new patterns (139333, 138333, etc) your only real option is to just block correctly 3-4 times, with the first 3 involving potential fuzzy guard setups. Fun.

Here's why 2A Throw and 5A throw work (to my understanding) In order to avoid getting a throw whiff, many players will use option select throw breaks instead (1+ABC) this automatically breaks throws for 5 frames. However, should you be thrown once this window is over, you will get a throw reject miss for an uncertain amount of frames, even on purple throws. The 5A or 2A or whatever normal they use is done during that 5f window, then the throw comes out afterwards. Why not delay the throw you ask? Well, you might get mashed out. The fast normal helps guard against that.

  14. Carl has a DEDICATED THREAD FOR RESETS AND THE LIKE. Arakune's options are all listed in his thread. Or, you could go watch some match videos and figure out for yourself. How do you think the rest of us learned this?

  16. It's awful. Matchup in a nutshell: Lambda sits at 3/4 screen distance from Arakune. Arakune can't really do anything thanks to 6D. Every other aspect of this matchup is an extension of this.

  24. That combo works on Arakune/Hakumen/Tager. Other characters are possible, but I feel they're too inconsistent to really note. Either way, your midscreen combo should be: 236C > Dash > 5C[8] > 6C > dash 2DD > Crescent > 5DD > 236C > dash 2DD > aircombo. Should do 4.3, 41% meter gain.
