Had fun Kris and Dale playing you guys in BB. I'm gonna go hard in EX once it comes out (assuming I have time) in February. Hope everyone else does the same.

You're best bet the Facebook group. It effectively killed the GA thread. The only people who post are new people who don't know and a few regular dudes who are the let people know that there is a facebook group and to keep the thread alive.

Yeah Jon went MIA for a while due to WoW as well at one point. I honestly would just focus on BB if you did gatherings. We're not Cali or the Midwest. If you have a gathering with BB and invite other games IT WILL get drowned out. Georgia Tech has weekly gatherings on Fridays. It was originally dedicated to just Blazblue. As of right now BB has been no where in sight at this gathering for more than a month. CSE should hopefully change that. Although I would alternate your gatherings between BB only and mixed games so as to not to alienate people.

I can relate. Was kind of in same boat. But I was able to develop friendships in my church community under different circumstances. In terms of the gaming community here in ATL I've made friends with some great people, but not as well as I did with the NC community as quickly. But I would also say there are a few more jerks here than in NC. Not many though. I don't feel they reflect the whole GA community or anything.

I'm with ya on that one. A lot of people have the mindset and mentality to play competitive fighters but few have the lifestyle for it (for others its the lack of getting their priorities straight). I could tell for a while you were potentially starting to move on. Who knows where I'll be once I'm done with Grad school

We're getting older and things like life happen (although I'm only 23 but I'm in Grad school so whatev). Charlotte is getting more new blood. Our area not so much although the new NC state guys are trying to keep things rolling. A lot of the new guys have a lot of drive to get better but I don't know if the drive is as big as what Garrett and I had when we got to college. The sheer amount of GG videos I use to watch was atrocious.

I'm leaving Saturday I think, but I'll try to make it out Friday.

No no you're good. I coming home for Winter Break. I don't plan on being in Raleigh/Cary this weekend but I plan to come within the 3 weeks or so that I'm in state (probably multiple times). So we'll definitely be getting some games in. My Carl is worst than it was when I left. Believe it or not, BB about as dead if not more dead in GA than it is in NC.

Ahh good times... I'll be back in NC this weekend. Look out for visits from me in your area.

She is doing a lot of stuff t.v. wise. Just not the Oprah Winfrey Show. That's done.

I have yet to attend an NEC and unfortunately this one won't break that streak. So no I won't be going. Zappa is retarded and I'm happy for anyone who sees the light. Good stuff stick.
