I think all of the nerfs are fair except for the increased recovery of the summon. The people I fight always know how to punish it.

So if it makes anybody feel better, if the Zappa's dog is hit while in a neutral state then it will go to sleep. That means not more turtling while you're doing a block string on me, amongst other stupid things that I could do.

Yeah the dog going into sleep state sucks but it is fair. I will certainly miss it. Here are more legible changes: Zappa: - j.236H (sword mode): FRC now possible right after landing, now knocks enemy up on hit for followup combos. - Darkness Anthem (236S, Raoh mode): now possible airborne. - Last Edguy (214S, Raoh mode): now possible airborne. - Icons added above tension bar for each summon. - 632146H gives one orb per hit, maximum of 4 orbs. - Smaller chance to summon Dog (?) - When Dog gets hit in neutral state, he sleeps. - Sword 2H stays in place for a bit after the animation.

Yeah I think that little addition to Ky is kind of hilarious. I really need to sit down and study everyones changes.

Whatsup. NC's fighting game scene is very active. Just not on dustloop, but SRK. Hopefully things will change here at DL since more GG info has been announced. I moved to Atlanta, GA but if no one can guide you to players here checkout the NC thread at SRK. Anyways lets talk GG, Is anybody excited or nervous about the changes. I know I'm both. =/ I'm scared of what they're gonna do to Zappa's dog.

SOOOOO Hype!!! I have a feeling Zappa might get nerfed overall considering how crazy Mitsurugi's Zappa does in Japan. I'm definitely scared of dog nerfs but only time will tell.

Wait, I thought CS2 carl was A tier? That unblockable loop was stupid. People hated his nerfs but he was still Carl at the end of the day in CS2

At this point no one (in NC specifically) has a bad taste in there mouth about BB. Its just that they would rather play something else. As for the rest us. We're too small or spreadout to meet. If you can bring a setup to John's place (this includes a monitor or tv) then everybody make it a priority to go.

Our NC thread on SRK is VERY active. NC has a very large fighting game community and Raleigh is definitely one of the larger scenes. BB however is kind of scarce, especially after I moved to atlanta. But there are lots of fighting games to be played. We have as much as 4 ranbats/tournies running each week throughout the state. One of them is on a wednesday and is held in Raleigh. Got there to get more info. In the mean time, the DL NC Thread won't pickup the pace until GG finally comes out on XBL or PSN... =/ Sad time.

Georgia Tech has friday night gatherings in the Klaus building. I forget which room.

Its a shame I missed the tournament and the hype. Better luck next year. But for those I did see or play casuals, it was fun!!! Zinac, it was fun doing Zappa vs Faust with ya. I've always wanted to play you. Too bad I couldn't use my stick though. I'll see ya next year or even on GG online.

I got really busy with school work so I wasn't able to make the BB or GG tourney... =/ so I was just stuck with money. It was 3:30am Saturday morning and FR was only 20 minutes away. But I was try to take care of school work because I knew it would be suicide to put it off until Sunday evening.

I do this all the time against Tagers, HOWEVER, from my past experiences, if the Tager at the very start of the match does a NORMAL jump forward he dodges both attacks and can get a hit on Carl. Most Tagers do not know this and they always super jump. And I don't know if anything has changed to change this in EX.

For me optimal combos were the most fun. CS1 Carl was easily my favorite. Doing volantes and 4D's in one combo were so rewarding.

As of right now it still looks like I'll be able to go to Final Round. But theres not telling whats gonna happen within the next couple of days.
