  1. Hey guys, just got the game and I'm horrible at it right now. Trying to get out of BlazBlue mode. Anyone wanna spar with a scrub?
  2. This works perfect! Thanks broham.
  3. I hope this isn't a tough request, but could I bother you to make an avatar of this pic with my name on it somewhere? 160x64 works fine. Whatever you think looks cool, I would probably agree with. Thanks a ton!
  4. Get faster internet.
  5. Happy Single People Awareness Day guys. I don't have the money to buy Extend OR the money to get to Final Round which is due Sunday. So fuck my life. Being single is pretty dope though.

  7. No problem man. GGs everybody.
  8. I'll be on for a bit if anyone wants to get BODIED
  9. I'd be willing to do it. I could update it every Sunday or so. That's the one! Thanks, I was too lazy to check in training mode.
  10. Noob question time! (I'm still full of these) Can someone remind me which of Platinum's bubbles is the one that doesn't hit the opponent on corner oki? Or to word it better, which bubble would I use to bait Hakumen into whiffing a counter on wakeup after a corner combo?
  11. Yeah lol, I can only play against CS 1 Litchi for so long, even if I'm using CS 1 Litchi.
  12. GGs to Linear and Crazy (I think my name showed up as Huntrinidad250 for some reason.) I still keep dropping everything online.
  13. GGs everyone, I was happy with how I did for not playing in a month. Has the netcode been that laggy for a while now, or did it just get that bad today?
  14. Might as well start back playing before Extend
  15. Super Hammer is unblockable if your opponent is on the floor (it creates an earthquake); you're supposed to jump to dodge it. So if you do bombs then Super Hammer they can't jump to dodge the earthquake because they're stuck in the high blockstun from bomb.
  16. Been a while iora, what's up? I think the first thing most Platinums need to learn (and the last thing most of them do) is blocking. You're going to end up blocking way more than you want to in a lot of matchups, and without bat you're gonna have to be really smart in how you escape tight pressure (still my biggest weakness with Platinum). A lot of people see Platinum as this crazy character with rushdown similar to Taokaka, and she can be, but footsies and spacing are way more important than just running with her. As in, blindly charging in will get you blown up by good players. Platinum's ranged normals (2B, 5B, 3C) are all bootleg as hell have their weaknesses, but are overall very useful tools when you know how and when to use them in neutral. On rushdown, always keep in mind that none of Platinum's mixups are honestly that great. But has a lot of them, so you can keep the opponent on their toes. For example, you can TK Swallow Moon for an instant overhead j.B and combo off of that. Cool. Or you can TK Swallow Moon, cancel the Swallow Moon (by hitting A or hitting barrier guard) and 2A them instead for a confusing low. Next time, try Swallow Moon and then cancel it and throw them. My point is that more than some other characters, Platinum has a really fresh supply of mixups that give her more unique pressure than a lot of other characters, even if it is janky. Speaking of pressuring, remember that none of Platinum's mixups are all that safe or even hard for a good player to stop. You can be reversaled on reaction out of TK Swallow Moon, 6B, Command Grab, staggers, etc. so against a smart player you're going to have to be pretty conservative. And never keep doing the same mixups over and over. I probably should have waited until after I was actually awake to write this, I hope it's semi-cohesive.
  17. I'll add you. My schedule is pretty much the same as yours though so I'm not on too much.
  18. I don't think it's going to affect her pressure game too much anyways.
  19. Two really quick questions about this: 1) When you say "pick angles where Litchi is forced to block or get hit", do you mean like being able to make Tsubame or Riichi whiff by jumping at the right angles, etc.? Or something else? 2) "Player's ability to fight against the flow they've created for themselves." What do you mean by this? Thanks for taking the time to do this dude, keep it up.
  20. Answer: Complexity and versatility don't affect the tier ranking by much, if at all. They're just there to give more info on the character. And character difficulty doesn't apply either; tier lists assume that both players are at the same reasonably high level with their respective characters. (Post Modified; Formatting)
  21. Xie's last Japan videos Xie vs Kazuhira-January 20, 2012 VS Tao Xie vs Bora-January 20, 2012 VS Tager Xie vs Ryuusei -January 20, 2012 VS Carl Couple questions from these: a) What's the use of doing j.B j.B after 22C like Xie usually does? b) Can Platinum low-profile any other of Carl's doll moves besides Fuoco?
  22. I could see Platinum having an advantage over Noel. 6A stops her drive cold most of the time, Platinum has scarier mixups imo, and you can play keepaway. Hakumen...well, not so much.
  23. Surripa vs NAAO-January 15, 2012 VS Valkenhayn imo a pretty good example of how the matchup should be handled
  24. 6C j.C 5C, but on counter hit only
  25. Does 6B > 5C still work?
