  1. What's up Star-Demon, I'm pretty sure I've seen you (well, I guess you've seen me) on Peaceful Jay's streams sometimes. Do you have Xbox Live? We could spar some on there and I could maybe give you some answers to your questions. I like to think I have okay enough knowledge to help you out some.

  6. I just realized Platinum's super is 632146C. I've been doing it as 360C this whole time. LOL. Good god am I pro at this game.

  9. I had forgotten for a very long time that this matchup even existed. What's the best response to her charge 22D after a combo/knockdown? Assuming Plat is in the corner (can't backdash out of range) and she does from outside of Platinum's 5A range? Does a backdash have enough invincibility to get through it?
  10. Thanks guys, I'm getting more success by not trying to put any delays in. I had been lazy and doing 6A > 6C > j.236C > delay > j.C > 22C before.
  11. I never could do 6C j.236C j.C 22C, but all the others aren't too difficult imo (at least offline)

  13. Well, considering she could set up 9k and 10k combos before for less work, it's a big step down (albeit a step in the right direction imo)

  16. CT Litchi was like CS 2 Bang, she wasn't exactly god tier but she didn't lose convincingly to any one character (in a game that was known at the time for having plenty of 9-1 and 8-2 matchups). And anyway, remember how shitty we thought Litchi would be in CS 2 a week into the game? Or CS 1 for that matter. Chances are she'll just be solid no matter what, like Carl tends to be.

If I haven't gotten inside the other person's mind yet (i.e. the start of the first round) I'll do something safe and corny like 5A> 5A> jump forward Barrier to see how much they respect her mixup. If they do something like instantly DP or 6A then I know to keep my offense on the safer side and try to bait out reversals. If they just block (or don't react), I just j.B on the way down and start running my full mixup. If they do something smart like backdash or jump back or if they know the matchup, wait none of that ever happens. Nevermind. It's not a perfect system or anything, but it gives me an idea of where to start.
  18. 5A spam lasting more than 5 reps always seemed more gimmicky than useful to me in most situations, but that's probably just me.
  19. Most of her mixups were out of range after 3 5As already, so I don't think it'll make that much of a difference for Platinum (or most characters, really).

  22. Looks to me like 214D has enough untechable time to land Heart Cars off of it consistently now.
  23. I think Kyaku dropped her a few months back. Shiromadoushi disappeared or something. Y'know, I think it's cool not having any one person playing my character who everybody copies for everything (Spark, Lord Knight, Kaqn). Platinum players vary a lot more since she's so freeform; every time I play a mirror I learn something new about her.
