This matchup feels so dependent on what item I start with...When cornered by Rachel with a useless item, at what point in her string do I give up and start mashing, and what move should I be mashing? As of now I just try to IB safely and Counter Assault when I get enough meter.

I'm just trolling, I'm not actually angry. I do play all female characters in every game except Street Fighter though. Just personal preference. I still haven't seen anyone in the roster who I feel like I'll click with, though, male or female.

Matchups like those are going to be bad just by design. Slow grapplers are forever going to have a hard time against strong zoning characters in any games.

You'd think I'd do better against someone I used to play...How do I get past Mu's "wall of steins" from full-screen and start pressure without taking damage/a shit ton of chip?

@Urichinan thanks, it helps a ton. @MagicalSymphony it might seem like a lot at first, but a lot of Plat's combos are just variations of the same 3 or 4 BnB's. Try learning the first, say, four or five combos in each category and see where that gets you. Then try and learn item combos, Hammer Loop, 22C combos, etc.

Scrub question time: I'm having trouble connecting 22C after 6C 236C j.C and especially after 6A in combos. What am I doing wrong? I didn't find much searching threads... Also, what's the most damaging combo I can get with the pan at midscreen on most characters?
