  1. didnt ask you who cared. and i really dont give a f*ck. With-in the dustloop community xbox is said to have superior players. This as i posted before is coming from players who went from psn to xbox live. Your opinion matters to no one. You only play on psn. And dude he does spam lobelia's he said so again saying that a tager never gets in a good rachel. implying that he he runs and throws lobelias. The nu player just posted in the psn network that he doesnt know how to rushdown. And seriously im free to post whatever the f*ck i want to you are no mod, and im not going against dustloop rules and regulations. And dude seriously im not worried about internet flaming and trolling i lose no sleep over it.

  2. Did he 720 you after you 6b>counter> dash+6wind>4b or 2b mix-up when he is forced to block you? And im glad my advice helped you =), 6b atleasts gives us away to approach our opponent. Also you probabdly would be able to get out a frog or pumpkin in the event also and wind it forward or whatever. you can also run and throw when they recover.
  3. Lol no thanks, from what im hearing the players are much better on xbl then they are on psn. And this is by recent players who have carried over to the xbox live network. And there were several psn network only players who insisted that theres no way any tager could ever be good. This espically coming from that lobelia spamming scrub tempest d.

  4. K thanks everyone, im feeling better about guard libra system now. You get get away from some of the things ragna can do with rachel, but punishing is incredibly difficult because of her lack of speed and range. I think i need to see kaqn(ragna) versus rachel to see how the match may look.

  6. true, even in the corner, her mix-ups are very interuptable for certain characters. But you know even in ct, i find that its hard to mix-up midscreen, because of barrier whoring. it makes j.2c whiff off anything 5a> or 5b> and doing it naked with wind people kinda block that on reaction. so i normally dont waste the wind. i just try and get an opening or make it so they have no where to go because they keep running toward the corner. once there its rape time.
  7. yup it blows(about not being able to cancel it), and i would space your j.b. and J.a normals and see the range from just practicing. i havent been able to play cs so im not sure of the range on j.c now.

  10. well what about ragna?, a rachel(he plays cs arcades) player in our forum mentioned that ragna takes away guard primers and breaks his guard often. i know what his pressure against the wall was like in ct for rachel. and the only really safe way out against a very high level player was counter assult, which you could do it and they jump cancel something like 6d lol and lose your meter xD. But thats player error has nuthing to do with the characters themselves. How does it look when ragna is jailing rachel in the corner? i know a few strings has holes, but there are some ways to trick around those holes and space yourself to react to a jump out, by using 5b, j.d. , j.c ,6a, air throw(for ragna)
  11. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm10704929 though it isnt ragna, and both players werent that good at all. i noticed that rachel did use her burst. after her guard was broken the libra didnt go back to two, it stayed at flashy red. Also the hazama didnt reset her into more chances to take away libras like ragna's bnb normally does. (athough so do hazama's, well damn this player was really bad) Whoa super edit: that rachel player came back and did his thing match two! Double edit: 0.o:vbang: nvm both players werent consistently playing at high a level
  12. SIGH wrong, you may not have the meter to spend to get out each time. Also rachel's counter assult is medicore, you have little time to do anything after you have done so. Rachel among others also has 4 guard libras. and she has a very tough time getting out the corner. and doesnt blood kain 6d spamming on character int he corner also take off loads of guard primers?
  13. yup its no longer possible in cs, he was asking about ct and cs as well. because j.a is also no longer an overhead in cs. And he said he was getting punished for doing it(as a mix-up). I think though in cs that j.c comes closer to the ground so j.b>j.c>5b should be okay
  14. I dont know where to express this. But i think the guard libra system is stupid. after your guard is broken you still only have one libra. That means ragna can reset you from a broke guard combo into yet another broke guard string. Does anyone see any worry in this espically for those with characters that have only 4 libras. ragna pressure isnt half bad at all while ur pressed up against the wall.
  15. use 6b anyway in cs, and then wind yourself forward and for a high low mix-up of 4b, or 2b when he recovers to block you. Try this combo out and see if it works better. J.a(j.a)>j.b>j.2c>j.c>5b or J.b>j.2c+5d>j.c>5.b>j.b>j2.c>j.c>5b>whatever. the combo is pretty easy to do =) If your going for mix-ups get a bit more creative. do 5b>3c or 5b>j.a+3d or 5b>jumpcancel (8)>2d>2b>5b>6c+6d or 5a>j.3c+3d =) dont be afriad of 2a>dash>grab>6d him all the way over. In cs also if your pumpkin is out you can punish a whiffed slegde from afar on its recovery. timing is a bit strict but you can nail a counter combo the second its inactive. (lol i espically like in ct to super jump summon pumpkin get out a frog, they slegde im floating slowly below and then after there on there counter hit recovery i 2d right on top for a counter into a 6d rushdown.tagers get lazy sometimes slegde wont get you through zoning everytime.) But i know it sucks man, scrubs are going to try and abuse it when the game comes out. Hope this helps out. edit: j.2c+5d not 6d. for the tager loop. this loop also works on noel litchi and jin.

  17. hey man i was wondering about the rachel cs video thread. I noticed that other character forums like bang and arakune have there threads incredibly organized. Im willing to take the time and watch every single video through the 60 pages, and list next to the vid who rachel played against, win or lose or brutal rape, any interesting aspects in the video, and when the vid begins. I just needed your permission. And ill be more then happy to organize a new thread and keep it up to date with every video posted.

  19. And thats pretty much it. Your ultimate objective is to rush your opponent into the corner. and rape them. Cs is almost here so it might be pointless to actually take all the time to learn rachels corner pressure and practice executing it in battle. I personally think you will do fine in cs. Execpt for the fact that everyone else in the game is better then rachel and her zoning can be overcame. atleast ragna will have some trouble getting in on you now.

If in the corner, which you finally got me there and did the set-up. you dont have to do 2b>5b unless you have meter for a super. after you push them in the corner with 5cc>frog(2character spaces away)> pumpkin>lobelia a. or lobelia as the frog is beginning to zap. then pumpkin. If your opponent gets hit by the frog, do 3c(2hits) frog. if they dont tech immediately depending on the character 3c again to prevent a free tech out the corner. Cat chair is really bad in ct, as you noticed i didnt get hit by it once. And i never use unless my opponent is being dumb reckless. That ragna player had horrible fucking lag, omg it was frustrating but yes lmfao off him spamming 6d while in blood kain and getting bbl from air version lol. Nice work with the pumpkin just now try and find away to conserve your wind better. since im always trying to rush you down you always take to the sky which prevents you from charging wind.

  21. k here i am: Your keepaway has improved greatly. you understand how rachel normally gets in to rush/pressure and you counter it very well. When zoning and you have your pumpkin out and you throw a lobelia and it goes to an area where your opponent no where is near it. use you pumpkin to cover your fall. When you get your pumpkin out airborn, only get the frog out if it cant be punished. there were alot of times when you put your frog out and i was in range to punish you even without using wind to push you to the corner.When you put the frog out you are unable to do anything till you land and you are also in a counter hit state. Dead angle is rachel's only way out of another rachel's corner pressure horror, and its nice to see that you added that in your gameplay. More then 90% of players never dead angle out of pressure because they have options. we dont so its best to use the meter to save us the hassel.

  23. dude omfg, i my watching those nicovideos like twice now and uate was rushing lambda and bang down like it was no ones business. if rachels wind charged faster i really think she would atleast b bottom of b tier or c tier with tsubaki. Tk swords iris, is frame advantage j.b>j.a>j.b>j.c>2d>J.c>bbl is sexy, and a nice filler for the j.b>j.c>j.2c+2d>j.c>6a>bbl combo that we lost from ct. A blocked j.2c>lobelia actually isnt bad because we can go for a few mix-up with our frame advantage. (ex tk sword iris land 2b) (5b>lobelia a>tk sword iris 5b)(5a>hit confirm or block confirm> throw if they block) I also need to add 5a>j.2c and 5a>2b in my gameplay. i think 5a allows you to some how get j.2c buffered closer to the ground.

  25. dude just try and be a little bit more nicer when you post. If there's something that you dont agree with just write in a calm manner. When suggest that people have no idea of what they are talking about, its hard for people to want to listen to you. In these last couple of post with hazama vs rachel everyone has made incredibly valid points. But you also mentioned rachel's resources versus hazama's(her wind), where others didnt and you were absoutley correct. Im sorry if i made you feel as though u werent being listened to or understood.
