ONly gay shit left to bitch about is 5b>j.2c>tager backdashes j.2c>grabs fucks your world up. and his dead angle omg it shuts your rushdown game all up, and when you tech you get instantly magnatized. for more i cant hit buttons, or i will get hit on counter bullshit!

  3. omg this match-up yet again. i played chance wizards tager today and let me tell you he is really good. tager instant blocking shit is so fucked up even for rachel. tagers 5a rapes rachel. I repeat 5a rapes rachel clean you cant even j.2c meaty over it.theres another poke that tager has where he extends his two arms forward while standing is so fucking good as a spacing tool its annoying. tagers backdash is still stupid and it got him alot of shit for free. i got 720 so much just trying to rush him down. and prevent him from jump all around the place. being magnatized while using rachel is so fucked i tryed to do many things when i was far from him only to constantly get hit over and over from pull back in.You being magnatized in the corner is horrible he has so many ways of just to tick you with a command throw its retarded. I been bursted back into the corner while magnatized and still couldnt get out or pressure. And lost matches because of it. Also watch out for, him tripping you tricking you to tech by u j.2c over top of your body while laying down and 720*ing you. while magnatized whjen he bursts you do not tech immediately because he can 720 you or command throw you during your tech by atomic collider full screen(omg i just typed it and he won the round this way again because i tech after he bursted me). also tager instant blocking getting meter to dead angle you also recks rachel because of the fact your are placed right in front of his face. to top that off your dead angle is shitty in this match it doesnt send him no where. Because there are so many tech punishes he gets extra damage off you not teching immediately off alot of shit, instant block backdash into spark bolf, 5d, or if in range grab is fucking stupid and he gets alot of damage of the first and third thing i posted. now if i did get an opening i raped him clean but when not given one boy oh boy and you get magnatized its so fucked up. its also incredibly hard to stop his super jump approach with head but and jd. espcially while magnatized. while magnatized 6c+wind is unsafe magnatized he can instant block the whole thing and after you jump cancel it, tager can close the distance between the two of you real quick. omg both im bout to complain about ragna now, dude i can not get away. when i finall got free and block all these mix-ups and escaped my guard being broken. i get bursted in the corner for more free pressure strings on rachel. =/ lame. yay! i just raped him first round, lost the second round corner plus mag pressure, then time out his big ass the last one. omg dude once he hits you fall apart you have no options out of mag pressure, you dont not have the speed, the range to counter him. Anyway, any rachel player if your more then 2 character body spaces away and your mag from he goes for atomic collider j.2c and he will get hit instead of you being grabbed.

  5. i rush ct tager's ass down! i rush everyone down for the most part with ct rachel. i only zone when players run away, which they always always do. if they dont they get recked. im going to have to upload some vids of me raping tager and other characters one of these days. In cs though, you cannot zone nor rush tager down. in fact if we dont get a balance patch, i plan to counter tagers way through my zoning by using my nerfed useless pumpkin to counter his methods. Afterward just repeat the progress.
  6. cant he just slegde through your lobelia spamming though, and in your previous post i noticed that you mentioned the combo 5b>5cc>lobelia a, i saw a tager slegde it on a recent rachel getting owned against tager match, also in ct normally if my 5b was backdashed, i got owned for it. 5b is really bad on recovery. does is backdash have a longer recovery or, does he go back further?

What pokes do you suggest work really well on lamabda? because as it stands on ct, none of your attacks beat any of hers. she normals reach out much further, have shorter recovery , and faster start-up then everything that rachel has up close. and remember folks 3c with u-11/v-13 rapes rachel =D
  8. thanks for sharing with us. Are you incredibly sure that 5d, into slegde b will get hit by chat chair everytime? In ct, boy oh boy you have to instant block or you would be stuck entirely in a frame trap. Both those moves did stupid amounts of guard stun. and was a little bit abuseable on rachel. I mentioned in the tager for ct thread vs rachel (i think it was that thread or rachel free for all) that tager can 5b>instant block> command throw but people didnt take me seriously about it. its incredibly annoying. although we really dont get anything for pressure an opponents block anymore anyway since frog and pumpkin tools are so damn nerfed. Have you found any tagers doing any backdash spamming on you? what moves can punish him? we no longer can rely on j.2c because of its none cancalation options.
  9. Yes rachel can deal decent damage off 5b>5cc+plus wind>frog>dash>2b>5b>tinylobelia+A>6a>sword iris>j.c>j.c>tiny lobelia +a in the air. However. 5b or even 2b for the matter have incredibly short ranges, and are horrid on whiff so if your getting hit by this frequently you really need to learn to block, and learn to do it better. The only clear way i see rachel hitting you with 5b or 2b>5b is with the use of a pumpkin which requires two winds not one or none(wtf you cant do shit without using a bar of wind. execpt for 6a air combo which you shouldnt be getting hit by either grounded due to the start-up frames of the move versus carls normals. carls j.a beats 6a clean it comes out to fast and is very spammy.) I seriously cannot believe you really wrote 5k damage for little to no wind. at the very least it will take 2 winds to even consider that possibility. one to mix up, the second to chain into super, and three if there are x number of rods where the super hits him at.
  10. both escaping pressure and also getting close. summons cloud that surronds his body teleports to the other side behind me back. clouds quicky comes over to him and you are sandwiched. arakune i do 5b>j.2sc+wind he teleports while on the ground. all teleports have no recovery so even if you know hes doing you cant stop or punish it. its incredibly broken in ct. it grants him free curse, and ways out of trouble. i hope they changed he properties of them in cs.

  12. dude jins pressure is very insane, in this match rachel is incredibly balanced he can do everything she does, pressure well, get big big damage, zone, keepaway, decent mix-ups, however he has the ability to do rush us without needing a wind meter, also he definitley can get out of pressure. I know that his 2a spamming is pretty abuseable with the throw mixed in, its not hard breaking the throw. The only problem is that your still at a disadvantage after breaking one. I common blockstring i find with jin users at high levels is something>6c>dash>uppercut>rapid. dont fall for it i know it sucks that we are still in pressure but thats what being rachel means Any dash cancel move you are able to do something to escpae it/punish/wiat patiently to see what they may do like jump back and throw swords. the problem i think which gives rachel a horrific time is his j.b j.a land shannigans, cat chair is so risky, and j.d sword cancels are a bitch also. that fact the if you ge to much out and he can just back dash or back air dash and throw swords to try and take out your jump then super jump air dash in with his j.b
  13. hey you lord knight said i offered some nice points on litchi ^.^. also, dude when rachel goes up against characters like jin omg, yo she would seem incredibly balanced in that match-up he is all over you and its incredibly hard to stop. espically j.b, is normals, his speed, his strings, dp a version lol.

  14. be incredibly careful of commiting entirely to zoning. litchi's airdash j.b may just nail you right in the face and its incredibly hard to anti air that move.also watch for all green, and her throwing the staff at you preventing you from activating your rods, and taking away your pumpkin. Thank you, and i know. Inorder to stand a decent chance in this match for rachel players, we just have to capatalize on litchi's weakness which is the lack of decent pressure strings, and mix-ups outside of certain set-ups like greet wheel(after a knockdown) and 13 orphans. Even with the dd going up against an opponents block, litchi's normals are fairly slow(sadly not as slow or short ranged as rachels).And if you pay attention to her frame due to the fact that she is tall you can see the animation of her increasing her frame vertically. Her lows come out slightly slower as well, and her frame is incredibly low to the ground. Not teching immediately after a reset in the corner makes it difficult for litchi players to decifer what to do when they dont have a dd they could use to force a neutral tech. Its also very important to be careful of doing anything(hitting buttons)when litchi is in range to hit you with 6b on the ground, her long sweep while having the pole, a long air dash j.b, or when she tangles her staff around her self and launches high low or mid, dp, or all green. while airborn look out for j.c/dp. every whiff or blocked normals that ahs extended recovery means we are safe to make a move for the most part Its also important when using a character who needs to summon things to be affected, and that also is really terrible under pressure how to effectively prevent characters from landing there combos, and how to somehow be allowed to summon things when not given the space.
  15. dude what would you suggest they do? We are all just happy that its not ct arakune, who could curse you off some many things incredibly easy and combo off it. arakune is likely to get one curse once per round in cs, shouldnt it really really count when he builds the meter and finally hits you with it. Before curse he doesnt have anything what so ever, he has good air normals but there are some really good anti airs in cs that make it hard to always remain in the sky. air grabs are also tech-able.
  16. dude can you please clean up the litchi vs rachel thread. so many people have just been adding nuthing but one sentence off topic posts. that add nuthing to the match-up thread. i posted things about the match-up and nobody but axis has actually given examples or added to the match-up post that i have made.

A mod should really clean this thread up, i do as it suggest and post only about the match-up. every new recent post execpt for axis beast has had nothing to do with rachel vs litchi.
  18. lol dude i agree with that. i even complained about that. it is so easy to jump out of pressure in this game, making it even harder to lock down nu and arakune indefinitley. however if they were to do this they would need to increase the command throws by the same amount of frames only so that they wont be so free in certain situations. =)
  19. the thing with litchi is that you have to be patient, i learned patience a long time ago in this match-up will pay off in the end. And as tager i know that its a requirement in order to win at high level of play, therefore you shouldnt be getting hit by 3 dragons.Its is incredibly clear when you can go for the approciate punish. I have been purple thrown before, but against litchi no i dont even get green thrown unless its during a back dash in the air or a tech trap. be aware of whats going, stay calm, be patient for, ct litchi anyway. a litchi just went for a cross-up(j.b) today i blocked no problem.
  20. i looked at videos of him and didnt notice anything special. He doesnt add anything to the rachel community at all to top it of.And he told people he was not playing rachel in cs anymore, and when i watched him at the tournament using rachel he got slaughtered. btw some of the people who mentioned those jokes, have shitty lose win records. NO matter how much you may know about the game it is important to apply to actual battle.

    dude take it from me its not, its a great tool however, at a high level players will catch-up to you and as i mentioned before some character dont even care about. Bridget is incredibly dependant on reacting to the situation at hand. if idou is what it calls for then do it, if a yo-yo set is in order then do that to.
  22. dude its not hard to block litchi after she does that(loses the staff) i block everything, and this is online. And all her overhead pokes/normals are easy to see and all are unsafe on block, pokes being faster does not mean anything when considering mix-ups. And for the record her overhead normals with and without staff are slow. j.b Cross up is not a mix-up its a cross-up which can be blocked easyly or even jump and barrier-ed. also if you suggesting that slow ass overhead she has when she has the staff dude, i block that shit all the time its not hard at all. The 13 orphan mix-up is not invisable wtf! you can still see what litchi is doing, if her frame is standing tall shes going for her overhead, if her frame is close to the ground her going for a low, all her lows come out very slow. her overhead without the staff is slow also, and once you block it she has to wait a little bit before going for the next attempt. The great wheel dd, cannot be consider a mix-up if characters like rachel taokaka and bang can escape it so easyly. when she does it anywhere but after a corner knockdown. Anything else?
  23. dude people are acting so dumb on this website, did i seriously read rachel has ways out of pressure? did i also read that you dont need a pumpkin/frog/loli to rush hakumen down? did i also read that you can rely on ct 2c? people dont notice but you need some breathing space to get that move to come out if not you will get hit on counter. dude i only come to you because you actually play the game at a high level so you know wassup. I cant tell you how many time i lost matches because of being bursted and not having the wind, or any set-ups to protect myself from free rushdown by my opponent. and sometimes i never get a chance to get out again afterward. this is espically the case against bang nu jin tao ragna noel litchi. Sigh i really wish voiddd would see the ridiculous shit that dustloop players post on this website. To boot they dont even know how it feels because they never have been in that situation before.

  24. i have played atg warlord litchi and also sixfoe litchi, atg warlord does cs pressure strings, which actually work really well in the corner. While sixfoe does ct pressure strings which have incredibly easy to see holes that allow you to get your offense started after blocking. However neither player wins the match mixing me up, they win by preventing me from doing anything with litchi's range, and catch me trying to prevent litchi from pressuring me only to fail and take damage while trying sometimes. Litchi nets all damage from counter combos or, dp. the others are just poor reaction to throw breaking, or overhead. which i block on autopilot now. Instead of saying wow, explain why you feel litchi in ct has good mix-ups. Maybe i may have missed something. Im only here to help out and share my experince and it would be greatly appreciated if other would do the same.
