When under pressure be incredibly patient, and keep your kool, remember at high level play you wont be allowed to counter attack like other characters can when put in the position to block. Learn overheads looks for tick throws based on how players commonly use them within eash character. And once you have space, wind yourseld away granted you have atleast 3-4 winds to do and throw lobelia and sword iris to make it safe i have yet to see this tactic punished. Also importnat mix-ups when rod is present 5b>3c>sword iris...5b>j.2c>sword iris combo. only wind the frog when theres a lobelia there to force them to block it and it lands somewhat behind or on top of there sprite.

2a works incredibly well on many characters being sloopy with pressure. even in ct.5b>jumpcancel>2d>and land low. And 5b>jump cancel>2d>j.b works really good for confusing your opponents guard and its a good set-up with pumpkin on top of them. IF your lucky to place them in the corner go for damage rather then lock down, do your best to get three lobelias in the corner as well, and do the basic mix-up of 5b>j.2c>sword iris. 5b>3c>sword iris. Also 5b>jumpcancel>pumpkin>wind toward opponent>land low works good as well. THis is all i got so far for cs. lobelia is good for anti-air and air dash also.all lobelias hit on counter give you a 5b counter

during pressure only cat chair when your opponent is being sloopy. predictable cat chait is just going to end the round versus all the characters execpt arakune. its incredibly important to try and j.c your opponents recovery after you have landed from air comboing them. many time players will try and hit rachel while recoverying and its a free way for them to get damage off you. J.c whenever there airborn. Also its important to super jump combo because its brings them higher up, giving you more time to react and make a move before there feet touched the ground. Remember wind mix-ups. playing with the wind making it shoot downward 2d, You can create additional blockstrings after jumping your jump will automatically be cut in half due to thw wind alsting a while after one usage.

Stay airborn, watch for air throws, drives, and block. nails dont mean anything if they hit while you are airborn. its incredibly tough to take advantage of that situation. When players are running away they are just waiting for a free ticket in your face. be on your toes. this also applies to ct. its not hard at all getting past rachels zoning i rarely ever get hit by sword iris unblocked when being zoned by another player. And this if so it will be no more then once in an entire match.when opponents are full screen remain air born as much as possible and throw out loeblias that way. grounded throw nets them ways in. And remember zone in the area in front of the opponet not on top them unless there using tools to attempt to get in.

I havent gotten the chance to play cs, i really just want to wait till it comes to consoles, as it stand everything looks really really bad. it requires space to effectively zone. And there is no reason why anyone should be running away from you at the start of the match. Theres not even a way to make them run back. at the start of the match ragna is going to have so much fun with us. And i know matsu, is feeling worn out dude in many of his matches things seem so hopeless at high level play. However, one thing i can say is that, the bang match wont be as bad as the chart says. rachel is quite capable of preventing bangs rush, Using j.b( then air combo) and j.c(if counter you get a combo/ or non-counter just jump c.again>lobelia) to counter j.c tactics the bang normally use to create pressure. also, u wind to screw up his rush. And punish every drive attempt whenever its obvoius they may try and use it.

to top that off, its impoosible to keep momentum rushing down because your wind no longer charges back at all. so your options are incredbly limited all over the place. and with frog being the way that it is its no way to gurantee some free time to charge by using it to help out whenever needed. Alot of times when rachel wins its going to be against a recklessly aggresive opponent, or a player who doesnt know what there doing. But at high level play we have it far worst then any character has ever had it ct/cs included. The only thing is that atleast nu/jin/arakune/noel/(some parts of litchi) have been nerfed to make things a bit less un-enjoyable.

when are you attempting to 3c, after the opponent is hit by a frog? When you 3c, them make usre your spike hits there body frame where ever it is. If they are to high in the sky for a 3c to hit, do j.2c and bring them to the ground you can pumpkin aqfter ward on landing or while airborn. if they dont tech immediately chase them with your pumpkin if they tech roll. BBl is a pretty flexable super does many things based on how you got the meter to do it in the first place. In cs, many of those things dont matter, guard libras system, wind regen, frog, damage, oki afterward, wont be getting as much meter like before.

whos dourshi? and i stay doing things with rachel after i win to look flashy till he end, and that includes hit the opponent if i dont have enough for my super.so dont take being supered after a win to heart i do that to everyone. and damn rachel gets super meter quick long as your doing things.what style rachel do u prefer? rushdown, zoning or a mix between both. in mirriors lockdown rachel normally wins over zoning.

its kool man, real thing that just bothers me is that players try and make it sound like rachel is fine just needs a damage buff when its so many more things then that. dude hakumen cut right through all of projectiles, and then he creates a forcefield for hitting one, nu still is fullscreen and the zoning is so much better then ours are how we suppose to be expected to win at all anymore. there not even that many of us you know its like 7 total players that main rachel and contribute to dustloop. Sigh sorry, like i said i really cant stand when players who dont play as rachel and really main her speak about things they dont have any idea about.

oh shit that was you, um the tag was lazyhard something right? Did you use tager, lol i just learned this infinite loop on him and only one tager i lknopw didnt leave after that.But thanks man i try and i really want people to remember my rachel, how good she was i work really hard but no one cares but other rachel's =)

so practice that set-up, on high level players that is, 3c>pumpkin>they dont tech>3c>frog>they dont tech neutrally>3c>pumpkin repeat till you get a neutral tech and then what ever pressure you would like to do. Also when playing, during pressure i wouldnt, but you normally do like 6d+j.2c i wouldnt do that to much its a little bit easy to see that coming.

well, that 2d+j.2c>j.c>dash>6a combo offline the j.c whiffs on carl and rachel for some reason...and sometimes it hits which doest make much sense. so if i have the wind, im going to do this combo, 6a>5b>j.b>j.c>2d>5b>bbl>4d. im not sure why the j.c whiff sometimes on them and hits sometimes on them.

so if ever in this situation, you need to 3c pumpkin which is quicker, and if they dont immediately tech expect and tech roll and 3c again this will prevent them from exiting the corner, at this time you have enough frames to put down the frog and 3c if you supect another tech roll out the corner and they will get hit while inside the corner and by this you should have enough for a super. If while 3c'ing really close after a frog zap, and you summona pumpkin and they neutral tech go directly into a mix-up, like jump 8>j.2c+3wind>5b> 5cc+wind. i tested it on a tech forward dummy in training mode.

okay so, i just figure out something watchin a japanesse video, well this more often but if your opponent is getting hit by the frog espcially in the corner, you wait till bout the 7th hit of the frog and 3c, them forcing a knockdown. Here's the trick, that low level players dont know and high level players do. If your incredibly close to opponent when doing 3c frog they have enough time between the lag of setting down the frog to tech on the outside of th corner while getting hit by 3c. however because you can tech special cancel this shit is kinda gay.
