sigh, u guys i entered a ranbat tournament for my state today and got whoop pretty badly(though i was bout 3months rusty and hadnt played since novemeber with good players) and it was recorded so ill post that so everyone can see, when you say tech throws, u mean throwing an opponent after there forced to tech after a situation u created or do u mean just throw set-ups in general?

pros do nfact do the yo-yo gltch call back when the opponent s aganst the wall, however, the tming is impossible to continue forever...is very situational...and there are bursts.

the way jais sugest using 6s is the best method, when she instant air dash back form something like roger rush or me and my killing machine....for the most part millia will be way to high in the sky for it to be of any use and also, if u whiff that, its easyly one the most punishable move on whiff that bridget has. i thinkthey slowed the move down in slash to have more recovery i remember playing mugen and reload and it being abusable

6s against millia is not good u will get hit by the pin even if the poke looks like it reaches her, 6s extends bridgets hit box massively and will give her more body for her to hit u with it.

lol the more u know when learning of the new rachel..... It means its gonna be even more stupid beating v-13. atleast if u threw a lobelia directly where she was standing she wouldnt be able throw a sword at u for a combo.

zappa has a move that hopps over 2p while on the ground he also runs and summons in my face while im poking with it. the vomit will hit me if im poking with that move also, best believe i spamm it, i now the match extemely well.Im not suer what u mean about conditioning but i been zoning really hard and running away until i get an offensive opening and its hard due to the fact that when zoning callback can be out ran by many characters.

ok, not really a question, i just wanna rant. So its been awhile since i played guilty gear due to tekken and blazblue, but i played it with my buddy whos is ranked the best zappa in md, during this fight im have had lots of issues dealing with zappa's vomit, my friend spams it at neutral game...u let it hit ur feet ur in stagger for a combo, u block it ur in so much fucking guard stun he gets free pressure, u try and poke him...he just back dashes and spits on your poke....so u jump it most times u might avoid it but if he spaces right he will jump and air throw u on reaction, vomit comes out really fast and it travels pretty far and can mean the difference in losing the match with getting hit by it just once. Zappa shouldnt be able to kill u with full health off a low and full tension thats pretty stupid to me. Now on to some more issues, callback is fucking slow as shit its not easy zoning with it because many characters just out run it, and tryin to use it to extend my pressure sometimes the stun is off before i even get there and bridget runs stupid fast. Another thing is, dead angle....i hardly ever use it...but i find myself using it when i really dont feel like blocking forever, however i have been smack out of my dead angle on several attempts because 6p is too slow to counter fast attacks on block. To add to it bridgets overhead is fuckin trash why cant he have a nice one or atleast be allowed to cancel his overhead into a call back or set? I think im done for now, bridget is still my dude but i tell you im really sick of working so damn hard to win and my opponent just beats me off somehing stupid like a low, or command throw when i have full health.Or spams sumthin like a.b.a jump hs.

omg nerf! When rachel throws out a loli and is hit before it lands, it just disappears i notice that in that last video with her against bang in the first round. he hit her http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFIGI2F3HvEat 0:48 meaning no rod no trading of hits or anything, lockdown with loli throwing is even tougher now.

thanks alot for posting genowhirl, Its such a great help to filll the transition between games. u still, from the look of things its seems u need to not only zone but rush at the same time. lobelia a b c are definitley faster then they are in ct, i would know i play a zoning rachel first then i rush in. Edit: i just got finished watching that 3rd vid against tager nice nice stuff almost makes u cry for joy:yaaay: ending was so epic, the thing that pissed me off was that all that tager was doing was backdash command throwing all day and it was evening in the ball park the amount of skill needed to use rachel at the calibur that the player was using her in those vids.

listen to how that sounds, he can combo u from far away after throwing a nail that u have more then enough time to tech and block? thats not a combo and if bang doenst throw a nail he doesnt even get to pressure.

oh whoa thanks alot for posting, ikm really hoping for a slight change in the special meter system it becomes really hard to conserve charge and everything and also i really hope the increase the size of the sprites so they wont appear very jagged egde.

in my opinion i thought both videos were worth watching, thats not a bad rachel player in the least bit, he was tryin his best. litchi and bang have always been a good match against rachel and now they just are much better in the matchup. HE tried to super, but in put it wrong and then paid for it =/. And i like what they did to bang throw, it does not wall bounce for a combo any more(atleast if thrown away from the wall). I like the new combos i saw the rachel in this video doing. They only thing i cant stand about rachel vs anyone is that u do all this stuff use all your wind and have the opponent where u want them and then they burst and ur back to be under pressure with no wind or way to defend your self

omg the pumpkin goes away way to fuckin fast to be of any kinda of use its maddening, wtf was arkys games thinking when they nerfed the panties off this character, i have never seen such a shitty nerf job done on any character to date until rachel.....why couldnt they have just nerfed v-11 to death instead so we as rachel user a can have a bit of fun in the next game. I think they should right an apology letter.

there a few things that come with that.u keep running back u end up where? the corner, where he will super jump throw nails on u come down and pressure u to death with overheads, tricking u to attack him while he counters, and command throwing u, not to mention cross up j.c(his long diagonal air kick) which i have an extremely hard time 6a'ing it.u can super jump but.....the nail bounce off the ground still forcing u to block, when bang throws nails hes coming in right after them u to pressure u, when he throws a nail symbol in the sky he be zig zanging around so fast it be even harder to stop his approach. You can zone if u want sure but i dont think a good bang player will let u get to that point form the start of the match, i think its better to just pressure him instead of keeping him out. running away doesnt work on everyone, litchi, bang, v-13, arakune, jin, it might work for a while but these characters have ways of catching up with you.

u must not have foughten good bang players before, bang as many ways in and many way to keep in, the easiest way in are jump throw 3 shorukens, and dash behind it, nails kill frog, takes out pumpkin, and if u get hit by thme u will eat a combo, 6a doesnt take care of them at a distance, all u can keep back dashing your ass into a corner. bang also can teleprt off a lobelia, and also counter your 6a with his guard point attack from the sky. not only that if he does pail of paints and zig zag around your attempts to keep him out with ease. against good bangs its just better to pressure him to death, zoning only wastes your wind and nets him free hits when he wants to get in.

the reason why most rachel players dont zap when a players near a pole is because you lose so much control over the battle field when u do this instead of zapping u could set out a pumpkin frog or rush in when there scared to be zap. Instead of having to jump pumpkin and frog or full screen pumpkin and frog. You also get to push your opponent closer to the corner, throwing another lobelia with out pumpkin so close to your opponent is very risky. and u wont get to zap if they block because of the delay after u activate it. Now, as far as bang.....bang WILL get in eventually keeping bang out is impossible its just best to fight him up close he has nails, and teleportation from your lobelia, also has that stupid distrotion drive that goes through every thing u could throw at him, and for litchi...her pokes are tooo damn good versus rachel staying in her face u will never get a chance to do anything ever....mayb a lucky chair.plus with litchi's deploy its very very hard to get or even use pumpkin or frog usefully.i always thought that match was kinda hard for rachel but not its lookin just stupid.

when the opponent is forced to block the frog it becomes a fuzzy guard set-up they can poke u out of it if there forced to block, plus the frog is gonna be more easier to force the opponent to block with when u have wind. j.a not being a high any more is fuckin stupid, but whatever, j.b still is, if u do 5b>j.2c+3d>sword iris+rod being there to zap> would combo or atleast allow us to pressure a bit more if blocked.

YOU GUYS I THINK I THOUGHT OF A WAY TO MIX-UP ALWAYS WITH ATLEAST TWO STOCKS OF WIND. ok after u, wind george over, make sure u wind a lobelia also with it to land behind the opponents like do frog+lobelia a +9wind for full screen, george has them blocking, u go in 5b>j.2c>land sword iris >combo or of course 5b>3c+9wind>5b>combo After u get that off for a while u can go to fuzzy guard, 5b> wind down2d>2b>5b>bnb....and 5b>2d>j.a or j.b>land>5a>5b>bnb we can still mix-up my fellow rachels its just much harder sadly...but we will get more respect for are harder mix-ups.

i seen in that youtube vid with bang vs rachel that u can resummon ur pumpkin whenever u want to, he was doing it to him with a combination of 3c the pumpkin was still there but then it was allowed to be resummon, playres dont summon it often due to the fact of it not being very good anymore.
