It was just that laggy, I couldn't do what I was trying to do most of the time. Not sure why it was laggy like that, it usually isn't like that for me, maybe my brother was still on the net even that "early".

"Basic Combos" section overhauled. "Combo Theory" section redone with help from AWB Bakery, slightly more in-depth but a necessary evil no matter how I look at it. Wiki is about as complete as I can make it without having the game. The Wiki combo section will be adjusted though as I settle on what I think is necessary to cover all the basics. For now it is only what was in the most recent combo compilation video since that's a good sample. The rest of what I plan to do or will get around to doing eventually is in the first post if you want to know what's up.

PSR is an arbitrary number. I don't know what the threshold for PSR earned is but 1 PSR is 1 PSR, even if it eventually gets to 0, I'm sure there's a huge range that you can still earn at least some PSR off lesser skilled players. You could play some scrub that gives you 1 PSR 50 times and still get a bigger number (generally speaking). In the Dan system that threshold is set by exact standards. So once you pass that +/- 1 rank or whatever it is, you aren't moving up unless you play someone the same skill and win.

Get to hit characters from anywhere on the screen AND get "free" mix-ups off certain blocked attacks AND oki that they gotta actually block on wake-up that also gives you a guaranteed mix-up. I'd be happy playing against her too I guess, lol.

What's your PSR then? GGs, would've played more but wasn't trying to play the other connection.
-
Possibly me.

Nope, everything is normal around here.

As long as BB has a tech roll system the answer to that question (will more people use them?) is no in my opinion. I still think it will be match-up and player dependent just like it has always been. Even without considering FRKZ combos, I guarantee you bumpers will mess up people's combos. Just think of all those "IAD" j.4C (j.C) combos or 22A mid-combo combos, if a bumper just so happens to be there you just got screwed out of a ton of corner carry and more damage. Instead you'll have to settle for Stuff into j.D>5A>5B>Air Combo or whatever it is. Even with the 4 input being removed from j.4C, you are still doing a lot of air movement mid-combo, and now double "IAD" combos are the common thing instead of just doing it once. Reading the question initially I wanted to just say those two things were irrelevant to each other because FRKZ being OD doesn't change anything in that regard. Like the decision you make hasn't changed at all just because of that fact. It would've made more sense if you said, "So with FRKZ being an OD now, do you think more people will use it or still use it?". Much like FRKZ, I myself use bumpers if I feel like it or if I think it provides some kind of benefit in a match-up. Like DeAnte said, I do think Bang players should at least have an understanding of all their tools or else you're limiting yourself. Using them as a core function of your gameplan is another story entirely.

We can try to play now if you want. If it starts to lag it is probably because of my brother and we'll have to try later.

There's your guys answer.

The mods have previously said the wiki shouldn't have a lot of in-depth combos. This was mentioned before I was a mod in the staff wiki thread, but I went back and read stuff to catch up with what was going on. I was one of the only people to actually add information to the Bang wiki since there was literally nothing but templates before I did anything. Part of that was me including the combo list I had. From that they said it was too much and needed to be cleaned up (I didn't know this since it was in the mod thread), but it was better than nothing. Regardless they still wanted the combos to be cut down, on other character's wikis as well (which makes sense, I DID want to clean it up still). Knowing this, the combos on the wiki will be limited, which is why I decided to just include the ones from one of the recent combo videos. I will still probably go back through it and add/remove some, but for now that's what it will be. Which is why I want the combo thread to be the thing that is in-depth. I personally like to know all my options for combos and character specific information. There are a lot of different variables for Azrael's combos, even if they seem linear in general. Which is why it is hard to just outright say "these are the basics" if you actually want to cover everything. As for the other stuff, no matter what I do the information is going to be shared across both the forum and the wiki, the "guide"/strategies will be on both, but I'm not going to include frame data here for example which is why I already removed the proration information we had since I already added it. The wiki will cover everything in a broad sense (no match-ups), the forum will cover everything in-depth. That's what I plan to do at least, unless I'm told otherwise. Like I said, that's what I wanted to do, but it was suggested I didn't. So I don't disagree with you. I'm just going to add and do everything I feel is needed and what I think is useful.

Sort of. Did you mean now or late tonight?

My plan originally was to make the "Character Overview" then a "Character Guide". The overview was going to have all the basic information, mostly like it does now. Then the guide was going to be the strategy on how to actually play Azrael, and what you should be doing in a match. But I was told I shouldn't make too many threads because most of the information should be on the wiki. With that said, there is probably going to be stuff on the wiki that isn't in the character overview.

No problem, let me know. I'm still working on it, and I want to actually go back through all of it and revamp it all together since it was really pieced together through multiple sources and different formatting being used. Some of your ideas might already be things I'm working on (offsite just in a word document), but by all means let me know. That goes for anyone by the way. Not sure if anyone noticed or not but I added a "To Do List" to the 1st post for things I'll be working on or am working on. I added it before I made the "Character Overview" a separate thread, it was all the way at the bottom of the 1st post of this thread, but now it is one of the few things still left in the first post. I figured it was useful for me to know what all I still wanted to do/needed to do, and it lets everyone else know what I want to do. To directly answer your question, I just started working on the Azrael Wiki today since I noticed they said we could start doing it. So I'll be adding a few more things to that at least. Besides that I'll be updating the video thread's first post again soon, I started today but got sidetracked due to a player's name and the Wiki. And I'm focused on the combo thread as well since that was the main thing I was working on anyway. In particular I'm doing the combo transcript for that most recent video, even if it is some of the same combos, that way I can go back through them and they'll be the "basic combos" and the ones added to the Wiki. And now it is animated!

In my opinion the individual FT10 or whatever threads seem kinda silly. What's to stop EVERYONE from making their own thread? Then it'll get to the point that two people have a FT10 threads while they both end up playing each other anyway. I think it'd be interesting if the results were actually kept track of as well (in the 1st post?). You could just have it separated by Completed / Planned, then the list of videos/streams from that FT10 if there are any. It seems like you guys already have an idea of what you're going to do though, but that's my two cents.
-
Of course you would, lol.
-
Hopefully I can play you some other time when my internet isn't being weird. Never had it act that way.
-
Me. I've never played you.
-
But you can cancel into moves anyway on block correct?
-
Her being able to continue chain revolver while whiffing is dumb as hell. Her being able to do a "50/50" guessing game when SHE'S knocked down cause of 2D/4D, that isn't punishable on block like a DP or whiff due to the above reason, is also dumb. In my opinion of course.

In my personal opinion as I've mentioned previously, I think Lambda vs. Bang is slightly in Lambda's favor or even. But there's no doubt in my mind Taokaka vs. Bang is in Tao's favor. So maybe the difference is the same, but Lambda is questionable while Tao seems without a doubt. But that's just my opinion so it doesn't mean much.
-
Bang vs. Tao is bad.
-
Your Tao's already good enough to make my netplay life miserable. Lambda already does it too. Well every character does.

Just recently there was some Ragna player in one of the player rooms (can't remember who's it was, maybe you or TDs?) and he had a low level and didn't seem to know what he was doing. He lost to whoever was hosting then left almost immediately. I sent him a message titled "Help" and mentioned he should go to dustloop if he wanted help learning the game. The reply back was "Why". I didn't say anything back to that. I know right....lol.
