EDIT: And I found that by typing in "souji arakune j.b" in Google and that was the 1st video listed, so it wasn't even like I had to look very hard to find an example of why that move is retarded the way it is now in Extend. It really only brought it up because of "souji arakune" though, but that still says something when the 1st video provides enough of an example. 11 j.Bs in 16 secs just in case someone doesn't want to sit through the whole thing.

Where are you seeing that it isn't? We know it is young Ragna and apparently a little Hakumen unless I'm not understanding that, and then whatever the heck he meant with Makoto. And considering what we know of his storyline, it would make the most sense that he is in fact making people younger. They of course could be making it a little more exaggerated for comic relief though.

I've been getting on PSN and playing randoms from time to time, still a whole list of rooms usually but that obviously includes JP players and what not. People are still playing on PSN I guess they just don't post in that thread anymore. I haven't had any issues finding matches when I want to play at least. When I was playing Nephinel last night at around 11pm EST, there were only 2 player match rooms on XBL by comparison, and 1 of the rooms was his.

...what kinda reasoning is that? @dora_bang What changes to Bang would you like to see in the next BlazBlue game? @zeth07BB I want anti-air.so If 2D be super anti-air,I feel good. Of all the things someone could ask for in the next game for their character, even Dora just wants an anti-air for Bang. So it's not like I'm the only person who thinks so.

Have you heard of this character called Taokaka? Cause I'm about 99.9% sure she has a regular anti-air as well.

It depends on the game. In games like SF, a command move would be like f.MK with Ken, it isn't a "special" input compared to moves in BB. But in air dashers almost every character has inputs+direction normals so you wouldn't really need to call them command normals, which in any other game they probably would be. So it really just depends on which game you're coming from. They have added new normals before though for some characters. And I wouldn't mind if they changed them.... ....

In my opinion, Bang's character design/tools are hurt simply due to the game's own mechanics. In particular the tech roll system. I always say it, but if BB had GG oki Bang would be an amazing character. But it isn't GG, it is BB. I disagree. Bumpers can be useful, but they are a gimmick at best. BB's oki pretty much tarnishes the effectiveness of bumpers. They are useful during pressure strings, but they are entirely situational since it depends on where they are once you start your pressure. They can be useful at neutral for moving around, but unless you are using them on reaction to your opponent doing something really slow, it is still just a guessing game at neutral. Bumpers are a tool that can serve a purpose, but they aren't a required part of his gameplay. FRKZ is another perfect example of this. Compared to say Carl using Nirvana, it is the entire function of the character's design. As for saying Bang players shouldn't be playing Bang if they don't use these things, I always mention Minami's Bang when he was playing him to show that you don't need to use those things to be a great player. I like the idea of having options and being able to play different ways with the character, it lets each player be more unique which is one thing I like about Bang compared to other characters. Due to Bang having a limited resource with nails, you have to choose how you want to play the character and use those tools. If they decided to change things and pretty much force him to go for certain things, it probably wouldn't be as fun. FRKZ is what always comes to mind. With FRKZ being his Overdrive now, it is like they are saying you SHOULD be using it, while before it was more of a choice. Now that choice comes down to you not using it and only using your burst defensively, or using it but sacrificing that defensive burst. I don't know how I feel about that at this point, so I'll reserve judgment til I actually see the final version or play the game myself. He has all these tools that lets him play differently (now) which is good, but I just feel like he's held back by design due to the game itself.

it's just a location test....it's just a location test....it's just a location test....it's just a location test.... But really I'm honestly not too worried about it. I've played Bang since CT, so it doesn't really matter how good or bad he is to me at this point. -
That is basically implying there is going to be an "update" at some point for the arcade version to include her. I hope it is just one that adds her and not balance changes only a few months after "we" get the game. If they do it like CvS2, that will be amazing. I hope they have non-boss versions as well, but they've been pretty good about that.

It's not like they can't change other things or add new stuff to give him different options. Those two things worked against people just for trying to block. Considering the fact that they did make those changes, it's not like I'm the only one who felt this way, lol.

I just compare it to things like CT Bang's A-Nail glide during FRKZ being removed or the fact that he could ONLY cross-up Tager in the corner during CT and that was removed (by whatever means), so it only seems fair to remove those "shenanigans" from Jin.

-No more corner cross-ups off 5B pulling you in just for blocking. -No more ambiguous cross-ups off j.236D. Sounds like reasonable changes if you ask me, considering how "stupid" those things were.

Arakune still exists so this can't be true. And Carl is HUGELY unpopular compared to Nu/Lambda/Mu and he is still in the game to make another comparison. If they really don't include some form of Nu/Lambda and I guess Mu, I will be legitimately shocked as I cannot see that happening.

Being able to teleport for movement like that is pretty awesome, too bad BB oki is terrible so it can't be as effective. I'm interested in seeing how he plays at least, but I don't have the time to play multiple characters, lol. Unless they kill off Bang and he isn't in a BB game (please no), I'll always play him. -
"You guys" are stupid. Astrals should NEVER be practical, it ruins the whole damn point of them. Characters can already combo into them fairly easily and that in itself is borderline stupid in some cases. They are fine the way they are. There are much more important things I would be worried about than Astrals.

No. They shouldn't be "useful" at all, and I feel like they already serve their proper purpose. If you want an actual useful astral, pick a different character, the characters that can easily combo into their astrals make them as useful as they can be. 50% + Overdrive would be way too easy to get for something that IKs. ---- As for Bang's astral, it's godlike and I hope they never change it but an easier input would be welcomed, but after using it for so long it doesn't even matter to me anymore. Now if he could combo into it off a multi-hit combo, THAT is something I'd like to see change. I would however just settle for a practical and legit anti-air....please ASW.

I haven't read anything officially but it wouldn't really make sense to release AC+ on PS3/360 when +R is right around the corner and will more than likely come to consoles a few months after arcade release. But that is just my thoughts and not facts. They could very well still release AC+ on PSN/XBL as a way to get people interested again before +R is released later. Guess we gotta wait and see.
