Or anyone looking to get a new tv/monitor to game on. Then you can just complain about netplay lag instead of your TV, but I guess you do lose the TV lag OS, lol. (I'm speaking in general, not to you personally for that.)

That's what it was designed for at least. Can't tell you if it is true or not cause all tvs are different.

That's what I would do. That's hard to say. I'm sure you could find just about any size with little input lag if you made sure it was the right "kind". For me personally I'm using a 7 year old 42" LCD TV and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have noticeable input lag. Guess I'm lucky I guess, although I do have the Asus monitor but I just use it as a regular PC monitor. I get to enjoy the game's nice graphics, and can't imagine playing it on a tiny SD tv. But at least the Asus monitors are a decent size.

I felt like I was getting hit by things I shouldn't have got hit by, but it was my own fault from trying to do the things I didn't need to do. If I would've just played safe and let you kill yourself I think it would've went better for me, but I didn't play that way for whatever reason til I got annoyed at losing like that, lol. For the most part it seemed like I knew what you were going to do but either because of netplay or whatever else, I wasn't able to punish you for it. As an example, at the start of the fight I'm pretty sure you jump backed/IAD back and summoned like every single time, and when I went to punish it I'd barely miss or get hit by something that you just threw out. Or when I would try to anti-air you and just kept getting hit for my troubles. Talking to SKD in the chat while those matches were happening was hilarious though.

You're right. I usually just get hit and die.

Bang's is stupidly hard to "combo" into to the point that you might as well not even count it like that, which also goes into the whole being obvious with it thing you were talking about. When he could combo into it off a throw in the corner, that was amazing, but no more....so sad. But anyways I wouldn't put Hakumen's on the hard to land list compared to some other characters. Everybody likes tier list, so Hakumen's Astral I'll say is like mid-tier, lol.

Couldn't you just do it on reaction to things defensively? Like you're holding downback blocking and they do an overhead, you react and now they are dead. In my head I'm just imagining it being used just like all his other drives would already, except it is universal outside of projectiles of course. I mean I'm not saying it's like Ragna's easy to land, just that I don't think it would be that hard to land generally speaking.

Why would Hakumen's be hard to land? I mean in the sense that you are actually trying to land it to begin with, so ignoring his need to use magatama to function as a character.

I expected Calamity Sword on wake-up so I delayed Steel Rain on his oki while he was in the corner. He did Calamity Sword and it whiffed due to Steel Rain's invincibility and he only had a little bit of life left and was trapped so I taunted as a sign of saying "Baited" as he died from the nails. I mean seriously, how often does Bang get a chance to taunt and not get killed for it. I did it once in like the 15+ matches or something we played. Any other time it has to be against Tager and getting him in that command throw steel rain trap.

I don't know how to play any other character, and I mean that quite literally. And three reasons for not "going easy" on you: 1) I didn't know this was supposed to be a learning experience, all your post said was "does someone want to play an up and coming Lambda?" 2) You seemed more than good enough for my own skill level as it was. 3) what Moy says right here.... ^ Like I said, I was just playing the game. I don't even know how to reply to this. Isn't that basically Lambda's whole shtick? You guess right with a sword you either get damage and put the opponent into the same damn thing or you at least get them to block and put them into the same distance to repeat the process. You guess wrong and miss and they are near you, you deserve to lose your life. If any character makes a mistake they should be blocking after it or taking damage, Lambda should be no different. I don't really see how your learning is somehow different between the two, that makes no sense to me. I'm not gonna LET you keep me out the whole time, so I don't really see where you're coming from with that. It sounds confusing. What's an online mixup? I don't really do anything "netplay"-like, and trying to get you to stop delay teching was already taking away any real mixup I could go for since I had to try and punish you for that. What do you mean that any other character has 2nd chances? Not really sure what you're referring to. Not that it matters anyway, you still got Ragna to fall back on. Toan seems to beat me most of the time with Lambda anyway so I don't really see what the problem is. What? You asked if someone wanted to play, and your Lambda seemed more than good enough to fight against me. It's not like you were a "new" player, you have even played more matches than me in Extend, lol. Not really sure how I was being disrespectful, I was just playing the game.

What does that even mean? Overheads are like a basic fundamental of fighting games.
