  1. When Ganju Shiba vs. Yumichika Ayasegawa. There you go, lol. As for the Murakumos, I seriously doubt they would drop the characters. It is probably story related which is why they didn't bother showing anything in this first preview trailer.
  2. So about the new "burst" system: As people have mentioned it seems to be more GG-like as you see it has a meter for Tager during Hakumen's clip. But the other thing I noticed was that during Bang's clip and Hakumen's clip, you see that at times it is also grayed out. I don't know if this means there is a cooldown before it even gets to recharge or if it just means they aren't able to burst offensively in those situations or if it means something else entirely. Guess we'll find out. Also I don't know what the deal is with Bang's new Distortion. It has the red effects much like an Astral would, yet it only seems to use 50% heat and his "burst" isn't ready since it still has that meter to it. But the good thing to me at least is that he can combo into it. So either there are Astral changes, or it is really just a new distortion.
  3. Bang confirmed to be getting a new Distortion in BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Because of the red effects I thought maybe it was his new "Astral" but there's a few things pointing to it just being a distortion. -It only costs 50% -The "burst" icon is still "full" when he is doing it. If it somehow IS his new Astral, notice that HE CAN COMBO INTO IT!!!!!!!
  4. When it isn't disconnecting us after 2 secs of a match. The problems we are having with #Reload is basically the same thing that was happening on BB, lol. Don't even get me started on AC, but at least we got that WORKING period. Also, Once PSN/BB seems back to normal I'll have no problem playing it just as much as I was before.
  5. Has PSN still been acting weird for people? I haven't tried to play since the other day and I'm not going to bother until it starts to act normal again.
  6. Then when you use my "advice" you can go win majors, cause that's what I'm told works best.
  7. I'd say sometime between 12-4pm EST and probably anytime after 11pm EST would be the best. I'll just check on here tomorrow to see if you're around when I go to play or just check PSN whenever I happen to go online.
  8. Depends on the time and as long as no one else is on the net at that time. Otherwise, yea, I can get online to play you.
  9. Lol, I don't know what to say. I did say you don't have to go nuts with the random or that you could just play solid. But it's ok, you can blame me for your losses, I can accept it.
  10. I don't like it either unless I'm doing it intentionally. But I don't think you necessarily have to go all-in with the randomness as much as it is just doing SOMETHING out of the ordinary occasionally so people don't really know what to expect. Like any hesitation from the opponent means you get a chance to take the advantage. Just as an example, if I was to do d.5AxN for pressure and the opponent lets me, it means I'll be more free to do what I want since they could be scared to get hit for not knowing if I'm going to continue doing it again or do any regular mixup/pressure string. As soon as I see that a player plays more on the reserved side, I will go nuts with the pressure/mixup since they won't risk disrespecting me or if they do it will be rare. But if someone is just really good at blocking they can just sit there all day and wait til I go for an overhead/throw. Another example would be throwing out 623B / j.623B / 3C. You throw it out every now and then people will tend to watch for it to either punish you or avoid getting hit. Cause if you get Fatal'd you'll probably second guess yourself at some point at neutral after that. Or just play solid, lol. The easiest example I always refer to is comparing Dora's Bang to Minami's Bang. Minami tends to just play really solid and never does anything out of the ordinary, while Dora is....Dora.
  11. It's not just BB. I've read in other places that other people are having problems as well. Who knows what it is. It seems like you don't drop combos that often so at least that isn't a problem. One thing I noticed was that you didn't seem to do TK Gauntlet Hades much at all and that shit is basically unblockable on netplay, lol. It made it relatively easy for me to just block low and (try to) react to 6B since I didn't have to worry about TK GH catching me off guard. So I'd say your pressure isn't random enough in that sense. The other thing is that you don't seem to do any "shenanigans" to throw people off. Like cross under type things or those whiff throw setups like I see SKD do. It's like you have the same problem I do in that you just aren't "random" enough. It's not to say you are being predictable with your mixup / pressure, it's just that you seem to do things that you would expect people to do in those situations. Which is exactly why I feel like I do better when I just don't care and play to have fun instead of "playing to win" and trying to do the right things in each situation. Kinda hard to explain I guess. You either have to play really solid or play in a way that people don't know what to expect next then make the most out of it.
  12. I would've played you but I just got off since DontExplain's room exploded and I gotta take my car to the stupid emissions place before it is too late. GGs DE.
  13. I'll play for a little while.
  14. I hope for the day that people on the internet can just agree that two things are basically the same, but that will never happen. There are so many instances where I could make the point that something is the same, but people insist that their something has to be better than your something. It is pretty annoying.
  15. Maybe they're just happy to be able to play someone...................
  16. Yea right. Half the time I play on there people kick me after winning 1 match. And apparently you got people that send messages threatening players if they ever see them offline, lol.
  17. GGs. Yea it seemed pretty rough. It made me not really scared to get hit which is why I barely had to burst at all. And it let me get a lot of random hits cause I would be pressing buttons to tech and then you would whiff something else. I kept dropping some random stuff too, I don't know if it was Litchi's hitbox or netplay or actual execution error. Like the "relaunch" combos in the corner, I'm pretty sure the regular ones don't work on her but I couldn't remember if the corner ones do or not. Then I was dropping those corner FRKZ combos in spots that I wouldn't typically drop them. I would've played more but I told my friend I'd go hang out with him after an hour when he texted me almost immediately after we started playing.
  18. Ill try to play a few.
  19. Why play Reload when you could play AC?
  20. You make it seem like people won't be trolling in P4A, but it's ok cause it's new.
  21. The only real suggestion I can make is to slightly delay the j.C. Besides that, you could practice on characters like Ragna/Jin/Noel because you don't need to do the dash against them if you hit them close range. That way you can see that it works while also at least trying to do the dash. I believe it doesn't work on Litchi though. It's really just a timing thing that you have to figure out.
  22. Well 3 out of 6 people showed up if I still counted Koopa, so this has been cancelled. I probably won't be doing anymore in the future due to the lack of interest it seems. Thanks to everyone that has signed up and played, hopefully it was fun while it lasted.
  23. Seems like it would but I can't personally confirm since I've never used something like that. I'd say it is worth a shot as long as you can return it if it doesn't work that way.
  24. Considering the "tournament scene" for any game is incredibly small compared to the number of people who actually play it, yes, the netplay would be pretty important for people looking to just play others in the game and not have to "take it seriously". Source?
