No joke when I was playing Toan the other day and that was happening, I literally put my A button on turbo and just held it down when he was comboing me so I could tech instead of getting blue beat. It worked most of the time, I think maybe once I got TRM'd. And no that's not something I do all the time, I was just that annoyed by it at the time.
-
"If you can't beat em, join em." Although honestly it's like minor instances of things happening, but I shouldn't need to explain it. But as an example, getting blue beat when I'm literally mashing the button/s to tech is one of those things. Lag is automatically a given for one of those things as well. Just the other day I was in TD's room and only played like 3 matches before leaving, cause some laggy ass Jin player was in there and it just made me not want to play the game anymore so I got offline.
-
I don't usually bother to FTwhatever people anyway. As for stop playing when it happens, I shouldn't need to but sometimes I do just depends on the room. I just make sure I realize that it IS netplay and can't expect things to go as planned or like they should. It's just a matter of if I'm having fun since that's the point, so if it means doing dumb shit and still having fun then I'm ok with it.
-
deja vu in this thread. FT100 on netplay would drive me nuts. As soon as some dumb netplay shit or lag happens I just stop trying to play normal.
-
wtf is wrong with you people.
-
Just pick Bang, he won EVO.
-
I play on both, it's just a matter of when people ask to play and where they are located.
-
I was gonna join your room, but realized I'm an hour late and don't see your room anymore.

-Hazama main. -Has a 2 connection to me. -Seems to play people from here, has played me on more than one occasion. -You have alts that you play on. -You "replied" to a post about the person, like you have some other times in reference to people talking about other players/alt accounts. -You use that color Hazama sometimes. -You've recently just played people on an alt at least, lol. -Goes for those Hazama loops, which you've talked about doing in the past. I'm not saying it is you, but for a shot in the dark with all that in mind it wouldn't seem like a bad guess at least. With that said, props to whoever it is for going for those combos on netplay since I just played them the other night with Toan.
-
EC, I usually only play if no one else is around to be on the net or it is really late at night.
-
Is it one of your alts?

Rankings Updated Thanks to all those that signed up and played. Videos will be uploaded within the next few days. This is only open to US and Canada. ***READ THE RULES!!!!!*** I added extra notes that should explain any situation. https://sites.google.com/site/blazbluedanisen/rules Start Time: (expected to last ~2 hours) “EAST” League (EST/CST) 7pm EST / 6pm CST “WEST” League (MST/PST) 7pm MST / 6pm PST General Information: -Please try and be on early so I know who all is available and so I can friend request you. -Player Limit: 6-12, but really it is 11 as I will have to be in the chat room even if I'm not playing. -Rounds: 2 out of 3, in other words the default settings. Basic League Rules: -Everyone starts at Kyu. You can NOT go below Kyu, no matter how many matches you lose. Kyu is basically equal to 1st Dan 0. This is the "Beginner" rank. -Each match represents 1 point. -You must earn +3 points for a promotion. -3 points and you will be demoted, starting from 2nd Dan 0. -You may only use 1 character per night, unless told otherwise by me. -You no longer have to pass if you sweep the room, PASS ONLY WHEN YOU GET A PROMOTION. -PLEASE read all the rules on the site, it is very important people understand how it works, and it is very simple to understand if you actually read it. Sign-Up Instructions: -Sign-ups begin immediately. -Please continue to sign-up even if spots are filled because there is a good chance someone won't be able to play at the last minute. -No alt accounts. If I find out someone is using an alt you will be banned from participating until further notice. It takes away from the point of this. -If you sign-up I fully expect you to be around when the time comes even if you aren't listed as within the first 12 people. People will drop and I need others to fill those spots. If you sign-up, think of it as you plan to play BlazBlue in some form that night anyway. -Please don't drop in the middle of the league, only sign-up if you actually want to PLAY. -If you are a RETURNING PLAYER, you only have to post your PSN I.D. unless you are switching to a new character OR you've already used multiple characters in which case I need to know which one. -If you are a NEW PLAYER, you must post all your info like this: SIGN-UP FORMAT (You MUST use this format if you are a NEW player, NO exceptions, so just copy and paste) PSN I.D.: Character: State/Province*: Time Zone*: EXAMPLE: PSN I.D.: zeth07 Character: Bang State*: Maryland Time Zone*: EST Current Sign-ups: “EAST” (EST/CST) - SwordOfToan (LA) - sakanoue- (LA) - howling-_-moon (RC/?) - Ethereal_Albion (RG) - Joeboy185 (VA) - MirageKnight24 (HK) - - - - - zeth07* “WEST” (MST/PST) - Neo_Zeromus_X (MU) - NorseFTX (TS) - OniShirou (TK) - CMSORA (JI) - - - - - - - If you have any questions, you can contact me here on Dustloop or on PSN: zeth07 or on Twitter @zeth07BB Please Read Everything Carefully

Do you mean a corner combo or a "mid-screen" combo that goes into a wall combo? If it is a corner combo, assuming you're talking about the relaunch combos going into 6C, it IS position dependent in the corner but really it is more than that. Depending on the starter it will drop if you try to go into the full thing into an air ender or if you go into relaunch Ashura or even if you include a 2C after 2B will change it. But really landing the delay j.4Cs are what's really position dependent in the corner. Or you're going into those standing combos into 6C, and trying those reverse 2B combos. If it is from P2 starting position going into a corner wall combo, that is obviously position dependent. But not only that, the positioning also means whether or not you're going into d.5C or d.6D, which means a potential drop if the spacing is off. Of course you could be safe about it and confirm into something else but those are what you would normally want to use with those combos. OR you can be even more safe and not even do those IAD j.4C corner carry combos. But honestly I don't know what you're referring to when you ask that so you'll need to be more specific if you want a real answer.

I'd like to think I don't "drop so much combos" even on netplay but shit happens. To answer your "question", there are a lot of minor specifics for Bang combos that I guess Bang players in general don't know or don't care about. His combos are also screen dependent in some instances so if you don't judge it properly and go for something that you think will hit....it won't. Some characters also have fucked up hitboxes, so if they go for a combo that they think works in general, it might not against certain characters. There are also some combos that are kinda tricky to land due to timing or the above reasons. I could go into more detail but I know it was a rhetorical question.

Who?

I don't know about optimal ways, but it seems more like personal preferences. Or you can go with the Daigo grip cause he's Daigo and even made a video demonstration of it, but really it is just a normal grip, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRnfXzax94c#t=6m30s I barely hold the stick in my hand really. I usually have my index finger/middle finger at like 11/10 o'clock and my thumb at around 3, with my ring finger and pinky no where near touching the stick OR I'll occasionally have the stick between my ring finger and pinky but not really holding it with my pinky at all. So I'm mostly holding it on the left side at an angle, not really from the bottom or covering it from the top. If you see Daigo's hand, it looks like that basically, except I don't use my pinky most of the time like I mentioned. Here's another video that kinda goes over that stuff, http://youtu.be/wX9Ke34vcO0 Really just use whatever feels comfortable to you.
-
You could also try adjusting your grip ever so slightly when you do IAD. I guess it depends on how you hold the stick normally already, but sometimes I think it seems a little easier if I'm just using my thumb on the stick when I'm trying to IAD left. Although I think that just happens naturally for me at least due to how I hold the stick.

[CS1-CSE] Road to Ikaruga - The Bang Social thread - Do you even 3c?
zeth07 replied to DaiAndOh's topic in Bang Shishigami
Congrats Huey for winning EVO. Using that new mod power-up effectively. -
I was gonna get on and try to play you if you were still around, but there was a damn software update so it'll be a while before I can even get on anyway.
-
I could probably teach anyone Bang within like a week. I mean there's way too many resources for someone to not be able to learn how to play this game.
-
4 Seals yes, 100 Heat no. Just 50% for FRKZ, then basically any hit outside of like 2A will lead to 5k+ (5A>5B) up to 7k+ (j.C>2C) depending on the starter, and builds it's own heat for Ashura ender. But Noel's SMP combo/s are still better due to the damage + extra heat gain + practicality, but it was a joke regardless lol.
-
Who needs SMP combos anyway.
-
Did Star just find a new training partner?
-
Short answer is probably no. If my understanding of it is that it has to have 10 "unique" SMP moves for it to work then it is a definite no. 2C,5D,6D, both fire punches, and possibly 2D and j.D are all we have, so that's 5 or 7 unique ones if we consider using FRKZ. If you can use any number of them to equal 10 then MAYBE it is possible but unlikely. Outside of that, even if it was still somehow possible it would probably need 2 Gold Bursts + 100% Heat + Fatal Counter, which means it won't be practical. I'd be surprised if someone finds one, but only slightly surprised if it requires all those variables. While some of them combos are ridiculous in more ways than one, Bang's FRKZ loops are close enough to it and are practical. Being able to do 10-13 or more j.4C's in one combo is pretty crazy in itself and they build enough heat for Ashura ender, so if you want to do a combo like those SMP ones just do that, lol. But some of them SMP combos are just plain silly regardless.

Didn't you just have an "argument" with Bangismyhomeboy the other day about some shit?
