The rooms don't have to have streams or even matches recorded. If someone else wants to step up and run it that's fine, just make sure you know what you're doing and everyone else does as well. Like I've said numerous times, it isn't hard to understand how the thing works, and yet people still have to ask questions or somehow mess up something along the way. I just don't want to deal with people potentially complaining because something wasn't handled right or people "abusing" the fact that I'm not there and start doing things their own way or let others talk them into it. But with that said, if someone else wants to step up and handle this one that's fine. I'll update everything afterwards as usual.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to cancel this danisen league at least for the East league. My internet has been randomly disconnecting throughout the afternoon/evening for almost the past week. While I could be online throughout the day, the connection will randomly drop at any given moment. It would just be a pain in the ass to deal with that for the league. After trying everything I could to fix the problem, I finally decided to have Verizon send me a new modem/router. It obviously won't be here by tomorrow which is why I gotta cancel it. HOPEFULLY that actually fixes the problem. Since I know people probably don't check this thread after they sign-up I will be PMing everyone who has to let them know as well. For the West league you guys can still go on as planned obviously.

If everyone who signs up shows up and Moy uses Jin, you guys could fight for 6th Dan. Just putting that out there.

It just depends on how you look at it. His is moderately fast, and travels a relatively short distance, so it would be good for spacing / punishing, but maybe not so good defensively outside of the speed.

Low to Mid level play I guess, like knowing combos and stuff at least. Arakune has that X-Factor. The only thing that annoys me about Jin is the cross-up shit in the corner. And part of that is only because in CT Bang could cross-up ONLY Tager in the corner and yet they decided that wasn't cool and took it away in CS yet Jin has that now against everyone I guess.

At my low level of play I feel like Tager is a fraud character. 1 right "guess" + a couple spins of the stick = I just lost half my life. At least other characters who do that kinda damage have to put forth some effort after they "guess right". Tager is one of the few characters where I feel like I lost the match instead of them winning it most of the time, but that's not how fighting games work (or anything really).

Yea I expect it to do well. To me it feels like P4U = Marvel, BB = SF4, GGAC = ST. Marvel has the appeal of using characters from pre-established franchises on top of flashy / fast-paced gameplay, like P4U so it's going to get more people to play it anyway. SF4 was basically taking the fundamentals of SF and trying something new, while still being solid overall, which is how I feel BB is. ST is ST, and in terms of Arc System Works games GGAC pretty much has that spot, but hopefully GGAC+R doesn't suffer the same way SSF2HDR did. I'll still play BB regardless.

Because I'm only slightly interested in it to begin with, and knowing what I do know about the game there are already things I don't like about it. There are things I don't like about BB or GG as well, but the whole only being slightly interested in it adds more weight to it. I'm just not hype for it like most people seem to be.

I mentioned it somewhere else rather vaguely, but I think there is a bit of a double standard happening with P4U in relation to BB and other fighting games in general, and people just have on rose-colored glasses at the moment in my opinion. I don't want to be "that guy", but the P4U at MLG thing is just ridiculous. The game hasn't even come out yet, hasn't had a single "American" tournament to go by, it got a patch ~3 months after release, and probably 95% of the people talking about it have not even touched the game. Not to mention the fact that there has been some stupid shit in game already, but I guess the patch fixed some of it at least. And the idea that BB was too "easy" and gets chastised for it, and yet this game makes things even easier and it gets nothing but praise. People are acting like it is the second coming of Jesus or something. And I'm not saying I don't want the game to succeed or for it to not somehow get into MLG, I just think people should hold off on all that and let the game "earn" it's spot once it is proven to be good and have the tournament support. I think people are getting ahead of themselves just because it is "new" and Persona. I plan to try the game out myself, but I will most definitely still be playing BB and even GG more so than P4U. #GGXXAC+RatMLG #BB3atMLG

It's just an elaborate guessing game at neutral, I guess you could say that for all match-ups but it is more glaring against Lambda. If you guess right, she's gonna get blown up if you're in range to hit her after a whiffed sword. Then she has no real reversal options until she gets 50 meter, so you just gotta guess right again for the tech rolls / backdash / oki. 3 right guesses and she's dead. For her, if she guesses right at neutral she takes a decent chunk of damage away from you and basically puts you in the same situation with no guessing needed for her "oki" and doesn't need to put herself in any danger from there. Then she can of course force you to block or at least have to try to dodge something, which in turn lets her takeaway options or at least make her guessing easier in that instance basically for free. She probably needs more right guesses to kill someone, but they seem to be easier to get at no real danger to her in most cases at the right range. To me she fits into the same "category" as Tao and Carl (not referring to tiers). Their health drawback should seem like a big deal but it isn't due to the way they can control the match, while their other drawbacks are basically negligible compared to everything else. I think it would be different if they had like Chipp's health relative to Guilty Gear's damage, but that's definitely not the case. Just my thoughts.
