Yo, Alabama tournament on Aug. 4 (details in the works). Some of you a-holes should travel once in a while. It's only about 2 hours away, and with a car full, you don't really lose gas money.

I'll still attend, but I might only be playing P4, until GG comes out on 360. The reason we don't get numbers is because our monthly always falls on the same weekends of other monthlies around here. Alabama doesn't attend because I'm the only Marvel player, and I'm not sure how many of their weeaboo players exist/go to tournaments. SC5 is dead around here. I accept that. Marvel is active around TN, but not close enough to get regulars in.

Is it rude to ask what the offense was? I'm just curious is all. Also, random sidenote on my job-hunting adventures. My friend works for an unemployment claims agency, and he put in a good word for me. I got to send my resume directly to his boss' boss, instead of going through the screening process. He emailed me back saying "Thank you for forwarding your resume. We will contact you in the coming week for an interview." Well, I didn't hear from them Thursday, Friday, or Monday, so I called my friend to ask them if the spot was filled already. He told me that on Monday, their phone and fax lines were down and have been down since. Things have been crazy at his work. I am now the new Chandler. Simply applying for a job has caused the breakdown of all phones and faxes within the company. Feels bad man.

I dunno, man. I took first in a few 3S:OE tournaments, going through people who had played the game for years. I catch on fast, and with Pot being stupid good, I might steamroll you.

So, my sister was at the mall Sunday and saw me playing against Patrick in Marvel. When we walked out, she asked, "Who was that guy you were playing? He looks like Fry from Futurama." I told the board on SRK this, and Patrick delivered.

I thought I hated hearing myself, but when I commentated for SCV, I had this... different voice. It was like a sexy "I know my stuff" voice. Does the headset play the voice back? It might've been a combination of that and the fact that I couldn't hear myself speak normally. On round-robin pools: They could take FOREVER to complete.

It was either Khaos Muffins or TJO, I think (just glanced at brackets). I'm only wondering because he played AE randomly with my two friends Saturday while I played Marvel casuals, and they said they got destroyed. I didn't know if he was a TN player or not.

The stupid part is that Tager is invincible to hits but not grabs during the 360 attempt. That's like making it so that Ragna can be thrown out of Inferno Divider.

Yeah, Noel still doing 4-5k off of any non-5A starter is pretty lulz. Not only that, but you get the MOST damage from INVINCIBLE starters. We all could complain about that and drop the game Star, but every game has a little bit of stupid. Rushdown is still pretty stupid in Blazblue imo. Run up crouch jab spam is still strong (at least, against Tager). Being grabbed out of 360s makes no sense either, and has probably never been in any other fighting games ever. 360s either whiff or grab... there is no third option.
