Is playing Potemkin largely like playing a better version of Tager? It certainly looks that way. Instant block everywhere, spend meter for combo extensions or pressure, and use tick grabs for mixups.

That's an hour and 20 minutes from me, which isn't too bad, but it isn't great either. Our Cookeville group will have a much tougher trip on their hands though. Sounds good for the last few MTNs of the year at least.

Yeah, just because the mall will close doesn't mean we have to stop everything. It just means we should try to find a venue. I mean, I was really bummed last night when I read it. Then I got to thinking how little I actually went to the arcade, and it was only for tournaments. It was a great venue for us though. There's no reason to just stop playing fighters altogether just because of this setback.

Hickory Hollow Mall is officially closing down July 1st. MWC is still happening there, but after that, no more mall/arcade for tournaments. Time to venue shop.

"Oops, mashed too hard to get out of that combo. Time to eat another one." Star - GGs in BB. Those were fun sets... until you zoned me with Mu. Tad - Our matches in BB always come down to both of us having a sliver of health. I'll be learning GG soon too. Chandler - Very fun grand finals in BB. You space like a Japanese player, and it's hard for me to do anything. Nice job on first and not breaking things.

Dante matchup for Hulk is pretty bad. He has all the tools that beat Hulk. A very long range, hit-confirmable poke, a teleport, multi-hitting projectiles, and safe pressure. Add assists or XF to the mix and it's very hard to beat. X-23 is tough too. She doesn't do as much damage as Dante, but she does have more mobility. This mobility can let her run the clock, or she can poke and run. Her level 3 is THE CHEAPEST level 3 in the game. If done correctly, incoming characters cannot escape it, meaning that if she kills one character, she will also easily kill the next incoming character.

So, a few things. First, did anyone else notice that the first post has April 28 instead of April 26? I'm sure that's a typo. Second... I was in Alabama, taking 1st in SC5 and 4th in Marvel (out of 30-something people). I'm still #1 SC5 player in the South.

Pretty much what Milln said. It was a leaked list. I find it credible because Magic Drop has been on the back burner forever, and Dragon's Crown had a trailer or video or something. Double Dragon has been confirmed recently too.
