I'll be looking forward to it. Loops are coming out more consistantly for me now, but it's still a bitch of a motion to pull off in lag. My main problem with my Makoto right now is that I get so intensive in pulling the loop off, I forget all the other fun stuff she can do. Anyways, hope to play mirrors with you soon. I'll friend you on PSN (kinda weird I haven't already actually...)

I'm actually trading in my Loli dress for an acorn so... XD But yeah, I'd love to play sometime. I'm just on late nights usually cause I don't get off work till like 1:30 I actually have to play Ragna against Kimura now. It's just a combination of Haku getting MUCH better and Rachel getting MUCH worse. He's also become a beast since I first played him, so that doesn't help matters much... >_>

Naw, I wish I could stick with Rachel, but after playing her for the past three days, it's just so apparent why shes so bad now. I'm probably switching over to Makoto too actually. Space loops are just mad fun.

One of the reasons the thread died so hard is that my camera broke, so I can't really do them ATM. D: When I get a new camera I'm planning on restarting the thread, but that could be quite some time, since I'm in a dire money situation right now. :x

Yo, man, sorry for the late reply. I pretty much gave up on CT earlier this month, so... yeah... You lie of course, there's no such thing as "too drunk". :p Also, I'mma be one CS on Sunday night, and I made a personal pact with my boy Loki, so I'm only allowed to play Rachel for 2 weeks strait. So you get FREEEEEE wins for a little bit. CS Hakumen is fun as shit BTW. I might want you to show me some things. If I really end up not being able to stand Rachel, Haku's up there for my new main. And Carl... and Jin... and Ragna... oh shit, I'mma end up like Miso

This one gets asked alot actually. "dj" or "djc" in combo notation usually refers to double jump canceling, or canceling an air normal into another jump, such as Ragna's j.c, j.d, dj, j.c, j.d ect. "sj.*" means to superjump. Also, for Ragna and Jin combos if you run into dc, DC, or [DC] it means Dash Cancel, or canceling a normal with a dash. The only other weird one I can think of at the moment is if you're looking at Sol's Sidewinder Loops, the notation nj. is used in a few. This stands for Neutral jump. Any other weird notations should be cleared up at the top of a character's combo list such as move nicknames (BBU, BK, VSD) or weird character specific commands (Carl and Ara's negative edge inputs are usually shown as ]D[ for example). EDIT: There is ONE MORE I thought of that could possibly confuse a new player. If "CH" preceeds the notation, It means that the combo can only be initiated if the leading move is a counterhit. Ex. Jin's CH 5c,6c [DC] 5c, ect. Hope that cleared everything up.

I actaully had a real herp-derp moment the other night. I was playing against a Bang. He actually spent the first round spamming 623C oki against me. And it fucking worked. It was half lag screwing my techs up, and half "naw he won't do it again". I got pissed off and lost the second round out right. Of course then, I started blowing the mic up with rage. But then the rotation came back around. I took a deep breath, calmed down and managed to have some good matches with him. Had I stayed pissed off, he would have had the edge every time. Another thing I did, and do alot. If a player beats me in a player match room, I watch the rest of their matches, looking out for how they zone, poke, what they like to wake-up with, how they deal with certain situations ect. Then when my turn comes around, I have something to go off of. A losing streak is about 25% in your mind IMO. The rest is skill level, match-up knowledge, and the ability to keep your cool. I also play better after a couple drinks.
