  3. Wait... isn't this thread for CS1 matchup's and tiers? Also, the game is to anime for Tager to be good (unless they change something big), and it seems that CS2 Makoto has a lot of very simple, brain dead answers to many situations (but I haven't played the game and am not japanese).
  4. Tager is a slow grappler in a game where most of the cast can both fly and poke you from halfway across the screen. I feel like he really needs some kind of mobility option (double jump, Sledge break, whatever). Also, thanks to the general damage nerfs, Tager's damage off combos looks alot stronger now and should help make him a bigger threat once he's inside/ give him more chances to get in. Lastly, Mu will rape you for free. That match-up has only gotten worse.
  5. Oh, I did the proofing, did you want me to format it and stuff too? Make it look pretty? (DL formatting of course) Zero should help out, his Mu is beast, and his zoning strats are the best I've played. I'm much more aggressive so he will have a different (quality) view on how to approach things.

  7. When your closer I use 5B because it's a smidge faster and can stop jump-outs a bit because of hit's angle. If I'm further away I use 2B because it has a bigger range. It's situational I guess.
  8. Is it worth it to try and include Mu, Makoto, and Valkenhayne? Edit: I'm aware this is an Arcadia list and is for the arcade version.
  9. Thank you, those comments for hilarious. Especially the way some of them throw around FG lingo. Especially the various uses for the term BnB none of which had anything to do with a combo.

  12. Also, his jC is faster than ours and has the same range. Annoying. Also, jin's 2A is a remarkably effective anti-air, you gotta time jump ins really well.
  13. Well, EXIce is something everybody has to watch for. You can block his ambiguous cross-up trick on reaction, but its still hard. He has anti-zoning tools so this match can be annoying.
  14. Well, DIceCar on reaction stuffs command laser (setup dependent obviously), and both D and C bail him out of aot of Oki setups, but once again, this is a match where I'd stick with SoD and zoning. Also, I think this is slightly in Jin's favor, not much though, like 5.5-4.5 jin.
  15. The big one that gets alot of people (me included) is that Ice car can get over lasers. It's annoying... I'll think about it more though and see if I remember anything out of the obvious. You should also know jin's Ice resets so you don't get caught too off guard.
  16. Oh... Just FYI, each character in dansien leagues is ranked separately. So a win with Valk doesn't effect your rank with Haz.

  18. Also, hit up this dansien league thing AXIS started. i'm playing, and I'm gonna be mad rusty. Show me what a decent valk can do, I have yet to play one.

  19. Yeah, I've seen that vid. The difference is it's only some hits, and in some positions (thanks to corner bound). I think it's good that some attacks lead to big damage, but now it's not all of them (usually takes meter), and it's not something as easy to hit with as Ragna5B>4.2k or Valk's 2C(AA)>8k... :vbang:

  20. He looks good, but no more random hit>8k. Though, now, it seems like you can say that about most the cast... Fuck CS1, it started out so good, but wound up being pretty fucking stupid.

  22. I think the plan is to circulate/edit Tempest's matchup thing then update the first posts (or start over) in the threads to make them better. The idea is to use LK's format. You're the mod of course, so you know best...

  24. I've only started the Mu vs Valk, but we should probably wait for Aginor and his mod-magic. If you would, I would like to see what you have. Would you be willing to PM me? Edit: I have a computer so I will add those line breaks Also, I have a fair bit of experience Mu vs Ragna, and I play both characters, so I might be able to help out there.
  25. That advice is a little dated, but the concept is the same, try and bait out the chains. If you do dodge them, you can move in during recovery or react to whatever else he may try. Read Titaniums post, he sums it up pretty well.
