  2. Dude, the first part of my statement was a joke, you didn't read the second half of my post... Also I have tried it, and you know what happened? I got jabbed, you know why, because when the opponent sees Ragna Dash cancel that is what you do, you jab him and hit him. GGJ is right, it's just a gimmick, and this has already been discussed before... In regards to the ID cross-up, doesn't D.ID also have a bigger hitbox?(I could be wrong) That would make it easier to do.
  3. Nero... That's the dude with the trench-coat that's like, part monster? I don't play the game but he looks really broke... Also, Loli is only part of it, she also has this bizarre pressure with all kinds of crazy projectiles, which seemed similar to Rachel. Though I was surprised when you played Akuma. The only way I can win that matchup is to somehow corner you with Juri.

  4. I'm most excited about faster 2C and 5C. You could safe jump (intentionally or accidentally) the 2C quite easily, and if 5C is a few frames faster, I will feel alot better trying to use it as a spacing tool. As it is now, to many dash-ins are to fast to ward off with 5C. Also, the longer 2B will make the 662B links easier. I might even be able to to them consistently online! (I know online sucks, but still, less frustration is good). Also, the problem isn't hitting the opponent out of the air; that's great. It's doing it mid oki. Your lasers will oft times mess up your follow-up combo and your 'vortex' will end prematurely.
  5. They also made it so you can't barrier straight after getting off the ground I believe? So actually jumping out of the oki will be a bit harder. Still, there are lots of anti jump setups, it's just that we'd really rather land a ground hit mid oki than an air one.

  7. The charged lasers still give frame advantage and are generally better than the uncharged ones. (I mean the lasers not the steins).

  10. The problem isn't the guard crush, it's now that people have no reason to try and dodge the lasers. This really hurts the lasers uses as a zoning tool.

  15. Or an opponent that doesn't have a button. You can smash your face against the controller and counter it. Literally, you'll have enough time for you face to impact the stick, and for the move to come out. It might be good once in a while to catch somebody sleeping, but you can't rely on the opponent falling asleep, or being distracted with futurama to land hits. Focus on real mixup over bad gimmicks.

  17. I think he meant 5C comboing into 6C, which I kinda doubt. But again, we'll know in a just over a week.
  18. Seems like a weird change given that mori wanted her to be better at Guard Crush. That's actually a fairly big nerf if it's true, as now people don't have a great reason to try and avoid the lasers.

  20. Well, the sped up pokes confirm what we all throught. Faster 2C and 5C are pretty huge though. I agree with tempest I want to know what the nerfs really are. Can anybody translate for us? The google translate version was even more useless than usual.
  21. If memory serves Dash Canceling the first hit of 5D leaves you at -20. That's DP levels of recovery and I would never choose to mixup with that kind of disadvantage more than once in a blue moon. You have other options, like 5D(1)>DS which leaves you at +5, which lets you try all kinds of things.
  22. Problem is oft times it leads to another guessing game, and the bad thing about Tager's guessing games, is when he guess's wrong he gets hurt... But you are well aware of that. If jD can force a little oki I'd take that over a gimmicky ender.
