Maybe somebody else can run singles on Sunday? I know Mac not being there is going to make a big difference in how the tournament goes. I know I can't be there Sunday, but if you're alright with letting somebody else take care of singles, I don't mind. Maybe we should let Eric and some others give their 2 cents.

You should teach your brother the ways of the gear. Also, it's plausible that I may get a job in the Tokyo area within the year. May not be able to play games immediately when I'm there though, because I might have to hit the nihongo books super hard. Also, it's kind of a long shot, so I probably shouldn't even be saying anything about it at the moment.

Well, I was waiting for somebody else to weigh in, but I would say just a regular tournament would be great. I don't think any of us around here went to FR, so that means we didn't get any GG tournaments for March, and going another month without it would suck. A year ago, it would have been too much to hope for a GG tournament every month. You've spoiled us Jesse. Thanks.

Can't you get Marcell to do that for yaz? EX Tasty, May 1st I think might be a Super 4 qualifier day. Not saying that you can't go, just saying be prepared for that. Not too much farther just to run by Mac's though, if we can't get GGz in or whatever. Jesse's always super accommodating though, so you should be able to work it out.

I don't think I would have been able to make it this weekend anyway, but what exactly did I miss? IE, what people, where at, and how long? Also, I'll likely be in Chicago the weekend of next AL tournament for an interview, but I don't know if I'll be asked to come and interview yet or not. Either way is good for me I guess. Any tips on getting in touch with Prucha while I'm in there assuming I go?

No, the GG team tournament at powerup is teams only. There is an additional singles tournament. Jason, if you don't think you can get another team together, or you really want to be on my team, you're in. Feel free to keep looking around though. If you want me to save you a spot, just say the word.

It's been mostly pretty good, overall, but last week not a lot of people showed up, and this past week I didn't go, so I don't know. Mac usually shows up around 8 or so, and I'm usually there maybe around 6. Jack G shows up sometimes, and Brent too I guess. Also I guess Zach the Millia player shows up fairly often. If you're looking for BB, Wright State crew (2-4) people show up sometimes, and Matthias is pretty much always there. SF4 and Tekken tend to have pretty good turnout for the most part, although not always, and maybe SF4 is dying since SSF4 is coming soon. Most everybody plays TvC in some capacity. Oh, and I think the official start time may be 5, but don't quote me on that.

Oh, well, if you wanted to do that, and they didn't already have someone else in mind, that's cool with me. Honestly I'll take whoever I can get, but Paul's sort of my dude, so I just thought I would ask him. Also, I always worry about fighting Paul in tournament, so I thought it would be cool to have him on my side for a change.

Hey, Columbus. Has anybody given thought to powerup teams? I was hoping maybe I could be on Paul's team, but I also thought you guys might also want to keep it local, which I totally understand. That is all.

GG players, PLEASE get your sticks fixed by the time this happens. If we only have like 2-3 ranging from barely usable to good, it won't matter how many setups we have. Thank you.
