  1. I think she was supposed to be better at zoning than she really is in practice, the idea being that if you can keep them out, you don't need to move around much. So they probably thought that giving her mobility would the reward for getting through all the missiles and finally getting to her, or that this would make it too hard to get in in the first place. You can kind of see what they were thinking, it just didn't work out like they thought.
  2. She might be more fun to play against than to play as. I think the idea itself is fine, just needs a little something i don't know what.
  3. Potemkin has same bug.
  4. ^ that's been reported but i hadn't seen it yet. I think given what phrek said that there must have been a bug related to zappa's sword 236s, which has been removed. Thus the quest to discover ANY balance adjustments must continue!
  5. 剣憑依時の痛そう、っていうか痛い中の、レバーによるスピード調整を修正しました。 Ok this says something about changing the way that moving the stick effects the sword speed during "itai" or "itasou", but it's listed under bugs even in the loketest. was the zappa sword thing a bug or was there just a bug kind of related to the new sword movement? if this was not a bug, does that mean the list of bug fixes was the complete change list? I thought the game balance changes said "all kinds of changes."
  6. So what was the 1.01 announcement about? Did they just now implement it? I thought bozac said they were already on 1.01 the first weekend the "loketest" was announced. Also, no clue on the jp wiki about the supposed "balance changes" yet... HRRRMMMMMMMM!!!!! <- this is the sound of me being curious as loudly as i can.
  7. as if he needed anything else.
  8. ^ for reference, is this the same delay as any 360/ps3 fighter? Do you know if this is consistent with an actual arcade ac setup? Also is there a way to compare game speeds? Xbox feels slower than the ps2, but so does the arcade version.
  9. for what it's worth, testament's easier to pick up. looks a little less straight-forward in +r, but i'd still say he's easier than venom. however there are a lot of people that stay away from venom because they think he's too hard, and i really don't feel like that's the case. just testament is the easier of the two. if that makes a difference to you. also i don't know how familiar you are with gg, but testament is second only to eddie in ac, so you'll get some easy wins if you plan on picking it up before +r. venom's oki is better though, and his ac to +r changes aren't as drastic as testament's.
  10. Pretty sure this has only been proven for SF4. Yo Teyah, did you run those tests on xbox version yet? Didn't you say something about testing game speed and input lag compared to ps2 and arcade versions?
  11. JP wiki seems to have a decent change-list. I'm not sure if it has everything. However, there are no notes on the ver. 1.01 update other than the bugs listed on the gg website, and the vague reference to "character balance." One might wonder how character balance might be possible to manipulate without changing move properties and stuff. I'm not sure if they've actually done anything aside from the bugs yet or if it's kind of a work in progress, but I was pretty sure it said there would be character balance adjustments, but so far no word on anything actually being different as far as I can tell.
  12. Boss_Mimiga Testament (But can play a half-way decent random select, and probably will try to more often than not) Ohio Waiting on USA release, but I don't imagine I'll be on very much since the online play reportedly sucks, and my internet speed isn't too great either. Still, I do plan to try it out and see if there might be a couple people with whom I can get a decent connection.
  13. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm19246021 Bug. It looks like there's something preventing him from doing yoyo set after ksmh>k. He does it sometimes, but sometimes he can't. I think he's got his hands in the shot to show that it's not just user error (unless it is?)
  14. Oh, I guess it would help. I'm just saying it doesn't look like they put a whole lot of work into the netplay in the first place, so let's get it so the matches are playable, then worry about replay. Also, all ground normals and a lot of specials done from the ground require air fd, for future reference. So like even sol's VV, even though he leaves the ground when he does it, since it starts on the ground, you must fd. This is not necessarily true for projectiles.
  15. Do you mean rematch or record match or record/playback training mode dummy? I know rematch function is kind of a big deal, but the game loads so fast that you can just pick your characters again and get back to it. It's faster than if you had it on event mode on an arcade cab. If you're talking about recording matches, well... it's not like anybody is having much luck with online play anyway, so you would never really get many solid matches for recording anyway. If you're talking about training mode, I'm pretty sure that's in there as the training mode is just like in the ps2 version as far as I know.
  16. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?15225-Cialis-Super-Active-20-mg-online-pharmacy&p=1409550#post1409550 Reporting a spambot
  17. I thought 6h was special cancelable on hit at any level. I'm sure you can mash out, but it looks kind of hard to be able to do it fast enough every time. Oh well, maybe i am making too big of a deal out of it.
  18. No don't.
  19. From a THROW though. Also he gets another 25% tension from doing it, and combo gets cut short because Ky's dead. I mean yeah I'm sure people are adapting, but he would have to be a really terrible character before I would say this kind of damage is acceptable. He's not going to ruin the game for me or anything, but if I had my preference, I'd want something to be done about this. http://youtu.be/07mKCKGSOOM?t=11m39s Hey Mike, from your experience, what do you think the most "broken" thing in the game is anyway?
  20. I was thinking more of bugs and stuff that might take longer to become apparent.
  21. Having not played the ps3 version yet, none of us knows if it's any good. If ps3 version is comparable to the xbox version, then you might not need the wii version. At this point, even though it's too early to tell if the xbox version is a better facsimile to the arcade version than the ps2, I think a lot of the community is ready to move on to 360/ps3 if only for the availability of the new consoles and sticks. In other words, you're probably fine to discard your wii copy, but don't come crying to me if the ps3 version is unexpectedly unplayable.
  22. Ps2 version is definitely faster than arcade. Xbox version feels different from ps2, but i was having trouble doing chemical love frc on it:( i don't know if it's quite as slow as the arcade or not. Or maybe it is slower with slight increase in input delay?
  23. If you're not used to gg, it does have kind of strict inputs for dp and hcb, forward.
  24. My ps2 is also there. I wonder if Mark will bring my other ps2 stick... Do they feel a lot different? Sounds like maybe they do? Also, Destin wants you to go split the +R thread into a real +R thread and an AC+ 360/ps3 thread. Go do it, Mod guy.
  25. Well, hopefully that's not the case. I mean I'm sure most people would pay just for the version update, especially since there won't be anyone to play in regular ac when +r drops.
