  1. 6D once you wake up, if the Nu player tries to use a sword for oki. Usually catches them off guard. Also, what's even better is using 5d's autoguard against nu's sword super.... Looks epic. Also once, you get them in oki, command grab if they tech neutral. Damn you, sho for getting me into that habit.
  2. I'll definitely try that tomorrow. Edit: Yeah, I can't get that to work at all. ...And the fire punch after 6c doesn't work on rachel.

  5. The 6c catches everyone, but there are some characters where you don't do a d.6c since it will whiff such as with carl. The 6c , j.d won't catch anyone at all... I tried.. And yeah you can start with it with a 5a. Something else I just found out is that 5b, 2b, 2c, 2369c, d.6c, j.623b, V, d.5b, 2b, 623b. The 2b isn't that reliable in this, they'll tech out before the 2b hits. Also you don't have to do the d.5b, you can just input it in there since they'll bounce back to Bang. I'm trying to find another move to follow up that 5b. also the damage so far from 5b, 2b, 2c, 2369c, d.6c, j.623b, V, d.5b is 2744

  7. Alright, so lately, I've been trying to go flashy for my combos and started using c shurikens... Something about having the opponent trapped there for a second puts a smile on my face (>_> Yeah that sounded creepy...) 5b, 2b, 2c, 2369c, d.6c, j.623b, V, d.5b, 2b, 623b. I usually can get that combo off in training. Anyone else have some C shuriken combos?
  8. That's still pretty risky... I rather do it during an oki... Thanks to ShoMeYoMoves for that one... However, I won't do that against a tager, or ragna or jin, or litchi with her staff.
  9. I'm sorry Kowtow... but I gotta agree with this. Hell, if you know if the tao is going for a 2a when you land, send a c shuriken or use that EXTRA AIR DASH to cross her up. EDIT: Oh, Ronove, I was that Bang who used Hakumen in Rank and caught you in that distortion counter.

  11. Your drives are way better than wasting 4 stars for a counter assault. Also, if you hit Bang while he's in the middle of his drive animation, doesn't matter which drive... He will teleport and punish you.
  12. Don't try and 2d that 6d of his in his combo... Unless you have very very good timing. And 5d will take care of that cross up. Also if you want to completely mindfuck your bang opponent, try and drive counter his nails, usually Bang players will rush after they throw out their D nails. If you time it right, your D counter will grab him out of the air... and I should know.. I get caught by that occasionally. Your 6B will go through his 2D (the drive uppercut...), 6A also helps a bit.

  15. I'm a Bang main, but sub Tao... So this match is frustrating for me as a Bang player but fun once you get her cornered. The 2a does beat many of bang's moves except his 2a but that's only if you let go of the pressure. For me, I usually know which combo tao is heading for so I'll either 6d or 5d to get out of the pressure and teleport behind you for a counter hit. Such as if you're going for cat spirit 1 (632aaa), I'll probably already be teleporting behind you.

  17. Once you get in, you gotta worry about that 2c, which you have to barrier.
  18. Alright, now this is pissing me off. I can't seem to land that j.D after the j.b like ... 6c > 9 dash > j.b > 6 dash > j.d. Each time I try and do it, I either miss completely or they tech out of it before I can reach them with the j.d, any tips?
  19. You have to barrier the flash kick, and if you time it right, 5D can punish Assault Through if you do an A teleport... Considering that you aren't in hitstun.

I suggest you guys learn how to counter drive. 2D can be countered by your 2D, 5D is great against Bang's cross up since there's enough time to active it. 2D can also stop his combos if you time it right, lets say they cross you up, and then goes 5b to 2b, that's when you put in your counter. The timing is strict, but a friend of mine always catches me with that.
  21. Time your counters. Especially your 5D and 2D. One of my friends play Hakumen, and he figured out when to do the counters during bang's combos, and I think you have enough time to pull off a 5D if he crosses you up.

  24. This match up is now annoying the hell out of me. I'm starting to use scrub tactics aka... a hell of a lot of grabs. And if I get trapped between him and Nirvana, I'm screwed. I tried to either 5D or 6D out of there and try to teleport behind him, but A teleport actually puts me back in between both of them.
  25. Had that happen once, when I faced ShoMeYaMoves. I had him in the air and did an air cmd throw... Somehow he teleported into my hands even though he was behind me.
