Regarding the following games: GGX Advanced Edition GG Petit 1+2 GG Isuka GG Dust Strikers GG Judgment GG Rise of Arms None of these games bear canonical weight or a set date (2181 most likely). The Petit game stories and GGXAE borrow heavily from GGX+ which was the foundation. Isuka and Dust Strikers use the same system based on GGXX#Reload (prior to Slash). Judgment came from Isuka's Boost Mode, and Rise of Arms is a replica of the original Guilty Gear with some elements borrowed from Isuka and Judgment. Regardless of this, the relationship chart states that Leopaldon and Gig are Gears. Raymond was a former colleague of Fausts' but became Judgment, a quasi-yokai life-form who died soon after coming to exist due to the death of his Host, Inus the Underworld King.

Odds are against it since her body/remains exist within the dense pressure of the Backyard, only Gears modified to enter such a place and Yokai can exist there, so retrieval of the body is not likely, That Man being a key exception.

I'm not going to sugar coat this, but any and all parent-child facts in GG have not been stated so clearly as Ky's fatherhood of Sin has. It may be fun to speculate, but not even Justice being Dizzy's mother is 100% guaranteed, since it's implied Dizzy is a replica. I treat this topic with forensic gloves if I can. If I were to be flippant, I could say That Man and Frederick are by extension the fathers of all Gear-kind, though that doesn't account for Blackard or Zepp or A Country Gear Manufacturing, or Postwar Administrative Bureau's Anti-Gear Kinjuu derivatives.. The UN and IPF would have a field day with Dizzy's origin's alone, hence why Ky has access to IPF's Database. Dizzy probably has a barcode hidden in her genes somewhere to reflect this. To say nothing of PWABls plan for a D-Series. There is absolutely nothing on Valentine at this point.

What Amadeous said, but also if you understand Austrailian folklore, Aboriginees (sp?) are very powerful spirit mediums who enter some form of meditation called 'Dream Time' which lets them contact spirits. They are also known for making charms that either ward off or capture spirits, such as dream catchers. It's possible the heart-shaped charm headband Zappa wears is also one of these charms, though it's possible it had an opposite affect, thus attracting spirits like a magnet. Also, Axl's girlfriend's name is Megumi. S-ko is short for Sadako Yamamura, who, when she was alive was said to have powerful psychic abilities and psychokinetic manifestations. Her hatred towards men just probably made Axl miss his kind girlfriend. Axl says girls were never so strong or violent in his era, contrasting Jam, Millia, and I-no, but also Baiken to some degree.

I just got done with fighting Boss (aka Poshib), and I've come to conclude Bang's okizeme pressure is rediculously good in this matchup. He has an answer for most wakeups and can counter techs very well, god help you if you're in the corner...need help with this one.

What Zazz said is speculation at best, as no more information beyond that is given. Basically, compare/contrast a rubber ball with a rock. Though in this case the rubber ball is a highly dense, high speed and bounce super ball capable of bouncing in and out of the fabric of the space-time continuum and generates 'holes in time' upon impact. What happened with Raven and Axl would be like if that rubber superball bounced off the rock.

I believe it's been said but until Daisuke says otherwise, the relationship of Time-Slipping between Raven and Axl appears to be retconned. The current Raven has no mention of powers over causality (i.e course of events) though he can generate slow fields, and summon a raven as his mobile minion there's no mention of Axl in his profile. Regarding Axl, the ever expanding theory is that the energy around his body that causes time slips can expand and affect others as it did for Jam and the Robo-Kys . This energy appears to be influenced either by Axl's emotions or by conflict as Sol and I-no can generate the affect now. If the time slips still have anything to do with Raven, there has yet to be a proper mention given. From and relating to Raven's origin story (posted by Suzaku), Raven is a half-dead 'modified' immortal. If Axl has anything at all to do with that, it would have to be the 2000+ years Raven has existed. Axl slips but Raven changes very little, the rest is unknown.

Side note too, Zone of Enders Orbital Frames refer to this as the cockpit, no pun intended. Justice's Michael Sword is a Tekkaman reference to the Mikhail Blade as well.

Can some one confirm for me just what Haku's air options are? He can airdash once after superjump, but is that all?

I discussed this with Raging Tofu regarding the topical format of this thread, and we came to the conclusion that a Question and Answer Thread would be the best and easiest way to convey all storyline elements relating to Guilty Gear. It is similar to the previous thread with the difference being that all relevant plot elements will be kept here while GG Fanfiction can have its own thread. Speculation relating to GG Plot will be allowed here, with the trust and faith that personal bias would be set aside in favor of actual Guilty Gear Canon facts presented and taken at face value. Meanwhile, those of us knowledgeable in GG Lore, will do our best to present information as accurately as possible, including translation, corrections, revising relationship charts, timelines, terminology, story resources, pertaining trivia, extra omake info, etc., etc. While this is in Q & A format, so we aren't forced to spill our guts, we plan on compiling this information in webpage format. That said, ask away!

I should mention... I've played Ehrgeiz and I've played Japanese Dissidia...Cloud is MUCH more satisfying in Dissidia than he will ever be in Ehrgeiz...that goes for Sephiroth as well. Too much wrestling emphasis in Ehrgeiz. And you can't knock people into rocks either. :D Also, in Dissidia...nice little details like the numerous slash marks on the floor and ceiling of a an arena when Sephiroth takes a single swing... It's insanely fun to fight with him in Kefka's Magitech Facility. Pipes blow up, chambers shatter, and you can sometimes get caught in an explosion.

BioLogIn, I know you have #Reload sprites by Xenozip, but do you have the Slash, Judgment, and Isuka ones from here? http://www.justnopoint.com/ggslash/index.php?id=5 I don't know how long that site plans to host them, but it might be a good idea to get them while you can, at least until Accent Core+ sprites become more readily available.
