Well in any case, I've been seeing alot of delayed jCs for some of the 2C loop combos, is the timing for that character specific or just low to the ground (i.e jC land 2C j2C airdash...)?

I have a generic question, I don't think it's covered much in terms of discussion. Why are Carl players like an endangered species? I seldom ever play them online and when I do, I either win because they're bad, or get whupped because they're too good. I never know what to expect.

Well, my thought process usually goes with what normals will hit or beat it, rather than how many stars I have for said move since CS comes out so fast and I usually end up blocking the first hit. It's more reasonable to say Renka I suppose, but I guess that just means I need to work on my reaction time. @sogos: Go smoke a blunt instead of trolling me.

I keep eating delayed sweeps and if its blocked low she greed severs on reaction, and while I can D that, the timing is bad or always misses, same for her sweep. Her air moves seem to come out faster than any of Hakus so I usually bait a jD or 2C it, but I usually have to steer clear of her getting close.

Mashing doesn't get you far at all unless you mash guard, then you might be lucky. Learning curve goes up for Villains like Jecht who can cancel his moves on certain frames. I don't know if Cloud still has his air dodge-cancel infinite or not, but for sure he'll be strong due to Unblockable EX mode. If anyone wants info on the JP version, there is a Wikia out with move data.
