  1. Clearly nobody around here has played GG when things changed for it because they're panicking way too much. This is mundane and bare minimum change for a transition to a new GG game...Standard R&D man. I said it before...you guys don't like it, switch to 1.01, at least in BBCS you CAN do that much. I miss GGXX Slash where you could play as Slash Sol and #Reload Sol, pick yer poison, Sidewinder or Dustloop, XD. Now that I think about it...they should feature a CT Mode, so that people can play BBCT incarnations of characters, unchanged...hehe, CT Arakune would be....lololol
  2. Okay, this is officially my Wallpaper nao (tweaked in Photoshop to be brighter)... Original by this guy: http://petagama.deviantart.com/art/sword-graveyard-espadas-119281144?q=&qo=
  3. Apparently you never played Accent Core Plus Append or had to save up for AC+ after having just bought AC a few months after it released. Also, Henaki, I want to know what your "ideal" grappler is? And dammit, ASW needs to stop Nerfing Noel's Breasts...
  4. Here's a dumb question regarding Loke-tests: Do people just play and guess at what changes Arc made? Or does Arc actually hand them a sheet of paper that lists what changes they made and then they try them in the Arcade? O.o I guess I'm not exactly thrilled at the prospect of guessing what was changed.
  5. I don't know how to feel regarding Ragna's DP, but, I was kinda sad when Jin lost his ability to use 5C after his 623C counter in CT...he can still use Fubuki>D Musou in some situations, but that's not the same. If you ask me, everyone could use a combo followup from DP...at least on counterhit.
  6. What the hell is a "Black Saggum"? O.o

  7. Just give me highly-prorated-yet-easy-to-combo 623C counterhit combos for Jin and we're golden... (623C ...5C please). Hell, I'd be happy if 623C was a Fatal Counter.
  8. I have a question for the more "veteran" players of Mu: Are there any Unlimited Mu-12 lockdown combos? This is because someone asked in my thread over here: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?9902-Versus-Unlimited-Characters-matchup-thread-(Emergency-Use)&p=745285#post745285 If you could post what you know in that thread, that'd be great.
  9. I got a question for confirmation: This is the first Loke-test, and how many more will we have before we get an Online Patch? Have they openly said what System Version this is (I'm assuming v.1.02)? Lastly, assuming this is 1.02, will switching to earlier versions (1.01, 1.00 etc) negate the changes made? That is to say, if somebody doesn't like how they got nerfed, switch to 1.01 etc etc?
  10. @your sig: You mean there's more than one Wirya on Dustloop? O.o

  11. Well I don't mean Zoning in the extreme, but something on par with, say...Rugal's reach or something. That aside, they were mentioning something about Tsubaki and Throw issues...what was that about?
  12. Sounds like he can mix in-fighting (Makoto) and out-fighting (Noel/Lambda/Mu etc). Did it say anything regarding a change in Damage if Wehrwolf is used (proration-wise for combos)? Cuz it sounds like to me he uses Wolf for rushdown, and Normal for zoning.
  13. For the record, I use El Fuerte's Japanese voice....I think that's the main reason we're on different opinions about him.

  14. Well, from the looks of things, this IS from Jump, so it's legit news (Thank God!).
  15. I'm not African-American. I'm Polish-German-Prussian Mix. :( Also, I can't "get at you" if you live outside Wisconsin.

  16. ^ Did his research. :O
  17. I'm going to go out on a limb here, but: From what I understand, P.W.A.B. was initially organized by the United Nations as a disposal organization meant to clean up what remains of the Gears once the war was over, since they were bioweapons as well as biohazards, especially T-Type Gears. Not just the Gears, however, but anything associated with them, That Man, the various Gear Plants and companies and militaries and countries associated with them. Because of the fact they ignored the means to that end and actually tried to make Gears themselves, as well as facsimiles (the Sentinels, the Kinjuu, Forbidden Magicks), their actions were deemed inhumane and according to Ky, they were supposed to be dismantled. Meanwhile you've got the history of That Man. Once he successfully completed the first fully manufactured Gear (i.e. the foundation for Justice, note this is NOT the prototype Frederick was), he disappeared from the Gear Project for a number of years. Later on it's assumed that A Country financed him several times over to restart the Gear Project, Frederick retaliated by creating the OutRage and Sacred Treasures. But That Man also worked for a number of countries, Old World Zepp, probably gained some of his data at some point. It is because That Man had his hands in the militaries of the world that multiple Gear Plants even existed. That said, That Man initially treated his work as a lucrative business, but when things went south and his ideal didn't come to fruition (Gears and humans coexisting, or at the very least, "evolving"), Justice came into the picture. She has any number of possible motivations for doing what she did, pregnancy the least of which. But one key motivation Justice had was, she was made into a weapon, and would have been dismantled if she did anything else but serve as one. It may be that That Man deliberately gave Justice a will (or preserved her original self) for this very purpose, or maybe it was his hope she would be a "Trigger" of sorts, to a better future. Recall that, That Man, when he was eventually captured by the Gears and held as a prisoner in the main Gear Plant, he laments that he was unable to stop the conflict, what's more he regrets the very notion that mankind would ulimately be the victor of the Crusades, and everything would start over once again (this is prior to I-no's intervention). It wasn't That Man's intention that Mankind be the "sole victor" of the war or for the war to drag out as long as it did. The key to all of this is Dizzy herself. Because the War lasted until 2183, she became involved. Because I-no intervened, the war ended in 2175, a difference of 8 years. Once I-no altered the world's timeline, she swore allegience to That Man, or at least went along with his plan. This is, I think, where That Man's genuine history actually begins. It is not known how long That Man was an aqaintance of Karasu ("Raven") and the other person. However, things begin to move in a direction That Man finally wanted. Eventually certain aspects of Gear kind have evolved to a state he is satisfied with (I'm sure he's fully aware of Ganymede), and he takes his first steps deeper into the origins of the Prime Fields, namely the source of the Gears, the Backyard. Thus he creates something called The Cube, based on his prototype Primefield data of Sol. I don't know what the Cube was for, but something "created by someone else" wanted it, and sent Valentine to get it. I can't really say I know for certain if P.W.A.B. is the ones behind Valentine, but it is possible at this point, since they are seeking to obtain data on Dizzy, and have a lot of data on Justice by now. Recall that, in That Man's mind, a Merciless Apocalypse is a type of Forced Change in evolution, but the notion that Valentine is an illegitimate child, denotes she is not worthy to inherit "something". As for everyone else, we don't know. I'm gonna say a lot can happen in 5-6 years, so you'll have to wait. Regarding Zappa's outfit: I think it's some kind of safety suit...to prevent him from breaking his bones and such when he wakes up from his episodes...like how people have neck braces after a car accident. To clarify: Prime Fields are genetic information for a specific kind of Gear, namely a Command Type, like Justice. Though BlazBlue mentions Prime Fields as the names of the Boundary Contact Mediums, they are not the same.
  18. Last news I heard, Lightning was a fabricated hoax, let's hope it's not true this time. Wishlist: FF1: Red Mage FF2: Leonhart or Maria FF3: Um........? FF4: Kain's a gimmie, but maybe Edge. FF5: Faris, plz. She's hawt. FF6: Shadow + Interceptor PLZPLZEPLZ. FF7: Tifa or Aerith. Or wait...no....VINCENT. FF8: Seifer or maybe Irvine. FF9: Vivi or Amarant maybe. FF10: Auron. FF10-2: Paine? FF11: Cid maybe? Dunno. FF12: Balthier. Just, Balthier. FF13: Lighting. FFVS13: Noctis PLZ. As for anyone asking...it's a mix of being a action fighting game, with RPG elements, but those RPG elements can get taken out for balance purposes, depending on how you want to play, in other words you CAN level up and equip weapons+accessories and stuff, learn new attacks etc...but if you're playing a tournament, that stuff is sealed and you have default settings. I dunno what they got planned for villains this time around though. D: To anyone who doesn't know how Dissidia plays, here's an idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HpwbZLfGQI
  19. Oh, just that...there's a lot of people who "don't explain the scene" and act like everyone's an ignorant idiot, especially decently high level players...and well, having someone take time out to explain why some stuff is the way it is (opinion-wise) is nice. I'm not making sense, am I? It's hard to explain.

  20. That reminds me, I still can't do Enma>falling j.2C combos yet. :v:

  21. You need some flowers in your life. Or some soft music.

  22. I still think El Fuerte is a badass.
  23. I wish you would explain life to Scrubs more often.

  24. Every time someone says my name and BB or GG in the same sentence, I come through their mirror in their house with a baseball bat aimed at their kneecaps. Please don't say my name. You, DoomieJ, Sogos, Henaki, all o' dem...just shut up about me. You all don't know shit.
