For some odd reason, ABA has added pushback when she is struck, it is extrememly noticeable in certain match-up's and cna even cause certain canned combo's to whiff against her. Just thought I'd throw that in .

I play this matchup pretty frequently, and another nice thing to do is try and slashback the 2d at the end of his gatlings. it's actually pretty easy once you practice it, and if he does anything but forward beast, you can get dash in whatever for free.

Sorry seth I didn't mean to make a new thread but I didn't see a ABA vs slayer for some reason lol. Anyway, for some fucking reason this match I can't ever get a better win percentage then like, 55%. I don't know what it is, but if I am not 100% on my spacing I lose bad. It seems really inconsistent to. Like, soemtimes normal mode is okay, and then soemtimes it's terrible I don't know what it is, any general tips against Slaydog?

I have a question from a strategic standpoint, I really love doing the SG loop. It just looks nice, adn does good damage and leads to certain unblockables, BUT is it worth doing in place fo a puddle setup? Like for instance, if I do: mawaru(blocked), dash 6p(1), 5s, mawaru, jump, j.k, dj. k(hit), mawaru, land, BTL SG, from here I usually have on more mawaru left which I like to do into another SG slide, then 22hs FRC IAD unblockable. But instead of doing the SG loop at all, I could just do mix-up into knockdown puddle, I see the merit of the puddle(duh lol), but is it so much better then the SG followups that I should forego them completely for the puddle? Thanks.

Nice, I didn't know about the guaranteed rekka's after 5d. I have a harder time with ky after getting knocked down ONCE, his mix-up is pretty decent, throw game is solid. Would you suggest going for more reversal EX danzai against Ky then normal?

I wouldn't say she rates lower, the mechanics and strategies for match-ups are still genuinely the same. And the really great ABA players are able to adapt to changes that happen in certain match-ups, so they usually stay around teh same score marks over time.
