ewwww kurum plays melty shitty....

This match is pretty cut and dry. It's not terrible in normal mode, as your 2hs and 6p will destroy dash strings that aren't perfect meaty. Sultry is punishable on block depending on distance with 5k or 2k. I-no has terrible defense now, so a combo plus knockdown in moroha and a solid mix-up should net a round for you. Just stay at ABA's comfortable poke range, and if you feel a HCL coming, you can 2d underneath if the range is correct, or even danzai for that matter. Also, I-no's aerial HS loses to both j.s and j.hs in Moroha. Really just stay patient till you get the transformation or knockdown, and she's pretty easy pickings from there on out.

I think it's really dependent on teh baiken your playing against. If their more offensive minded, then you can be a little more free with your pokes and traps. If their more defensive, I think ABA has a really good throw game so it's really pivotal there. I believe if you IB her 5d you can get some good punishment in moroha mode, such as 5k depending on range into rekka. You really only need 1 or 2 solid combos and she goes down. I find myself landing a lot of CH 2s against an airborne baiken, which leads to some big damage. You just have to pick your shots and adapt well and I honestly don't think it's too tough.

If corner, I usually do 2hs, IAD, s, hs, ORB, land, dash 5s, 2s, 421+hs RC, 2 hit orb, dash jump, s, hs, d, orb, land, keystab, OTG keystab. Damage is pretty serious for 50 percent. The last part will really only work on mid to heavy weight characters, but on lights you can still get a SJ s, keygrab with decent Oki on landing.

I really like 2d, FB fireball. It's just nasty, sets up perfect UB, just good stuff off of it. I didn't even think of the DJ set-ups from it though, will have to start doing those, thanks Seth.

There's weird situations where the orb wil hit twice, I tend to get it most after certain knockdowns, dash jump, after crossing them while they rise, delayed orb. A lot of times this leads to a double hit, is really meaty, and hurts like fuck.

Yeah I generally take that approach anyway, as I feel generally solid in normal mode. It's just against Order Sol especially, normal mode just doesn't cut it.

Just got back from Omaha. Lot's of stuff, but I think I played really well. Me and another CO player got 4th in the team tournament. I believe I tied for 5th with Steve from ST. Louis in singles. Man a lot of these guys just were not prepared to fight ABA. I lost to Juicy G twice in singles tournament BTW . Vids were only recorded from the team tournament (sigh), but they should be up soon. Biggest problem I had was trying to get Order Sol/Sol the fuck off of me in normal mode lol. If I could keep them out long enough to mode transition then I could stand my ground pretty well. Sol's, Eddie, and Potemkin were the characters that gave me the most amount of trouble.

TB, wondering if you could expand on that statement? I know you have been playing Sol forever, and just wondering what you mean by lacking the matchup experience to exploit sol? Just out of curiosity, thanks.
