  1. just challenged Mike (tak) to 50 dollar money match. First to 10, my hakumen his v-13.
  2. TK Tsubaki to break a turtle shell and end a round is not noob. Also, having magnatama and the threat of a hop cancel hotaru is what makes his forward hop a good pressure tool. Using Kishuu to close distance on some characters is highly recommended, like Nu, and Rachel.
  3. Ironically I destroy litchis online, it's the local litchi player that is way too good. It's night and day.
  4. She's a lot like Chipp in that regard. Low damage, but all her mix-ups lead to more mix-ups.
  5. It branched from a Tatsunoko vs Capcom thing, and a dispute about pad wii players or something and bindings in that game, and what the rule should be in Columbia for TvC on 'macros.'
  6. "okay" corner lock? Have you never been locked down in the corner by a good litchi? Even with counters, you have to guess, and if you guess wrong, you get counter hit or a counter kara thrown.
  7. Sigh. I know, lol. What can you do?
  8. The spacing is ambiguous at times I find, but yes. Imo, 6D and hotaru are better options.
  9. Hotaru is a better option, but it's not garaunteed, I've had that shit whiff straight up sometimes. And Sol Badass, using 6A against a good litchi is only good for badly spaced, deep jump ins. I play casuals with a very good litchi, locally. That shit doesn't ever feel free at all. Granted, I'm not the best Hakumen player around, but I feel like all the options I have against litchi are guesses that are not in my favor.
  10. Normally I'd agree with you but No. 1: The game's technically already finished, all they're really needing to do is port to the consoles. No.2 : BB:CT was released the same time last year (in the states), so I believe in patterns. No.3: 60% of it is finished already from what they say. No.4: Of what they're doing, they're 'adding' a console exclusive character (which will prolly just be v-13 recolored.) and all the story mode and record and online functionality. So unless they have a huge setback in programming the netcode for the game, I dont see how they could experience a terrible delay in the game, especially when the arcade version has been leaked all over the web. The hard part of the game is complete (Engine, Balance, etc.) The biggest part is translation of everything, and the console exclusive game modes.
  11. this is incorrect. A good litchi can space her j.b (I think it is j.b) so that it clashes with your 6A, and then she can follow up with her mixups. She has some useful kara options as well, which she can use after she clashes with your 6.A if you're not careful. defense needs to be on point.
  12. Summer then, eh? Sounds like it'll be released in July again, just like CT (Or was it June?) I forget. but it was one of those "J" months, and it came out on the 7th.
  13. Okay, Cool.
  14. Hey Keyon. When you wanna begin those Guilty Gear lessons? I'm free every day of the week after 6pm, and generally all day on weekends. Let me know.
  15. Everyone has CS and my version don't want to fucking work. I hate life.
  16. Xavier is just too good man. I'd go so far to say he's probably the best SF4 player in South Carolina. I think he's one of SC's best hopes for a top 8 spot at Final Round. That being said, I'll actually be at the ranbat tomorrow. I dont know if I want to compete though, esp. if your Myrtle Beach guy is gonna be there with CS (but I think you said he won't be, which makes me sad.) Like I said, I've kind secretly quit SF4. I don't ever practice it anymore or take it very seriously. I hope SSF4 changes things up enough so I enjoy it more.
  17. Sweet. I hope it's soon.
  18. he still has lots of options, it's just 6A isn't the one that works at every distance anymore. He has 2c for somewhat far, that is a free launch into meterless combo, 5d (which no longer combos into big damage), 6D, and 5.A (which has a little combo into j.a, ja., j.b, j2.a, j.c) so I'm not too worried. 6A is used a lot more offensively, now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpBryx5Uw10 match begins around 1:50 to show off what I mean.
  19. haha. I believe it. But I'm happy the upgrades H-Man got. I especially like the new 6A, and how it lurches forward. 2A also cancels into it, so you can do 2.A -> 6.A for a groovy pressure frame trap, and the pushback on 2.A is the perfect distance to do it too. Sure, it aint a reliable AA anymore, but Hakumen already got plenty of AA options. 4.C looks like the new scrub hammer, too. Stop nubs from just blindly charging at me every game. That shit gets annoying. now I can say "Nope. Stay right there."
  20. GGs this weekend Keyon. Despite destroying me, I learned alot about litchi. And I squeaked out a lucky win here and there, too. Also, it doesn't matter, I win by default since I landed Yukikaze on you. Gee F'in Gee. Also, seeing that CS Tier List, and seeing Hakumen as the Fourth best character in the game gives me goosebumps. I can feel the warm fuzzies all over. I look forward to J.Cing and 4.Cing you all soon! Also, 6B is an overhead that removes 2 guard primers on block, gg (it can also be cancelled into 2D so lots of shens here. :D) EDIT: and I guessed wrong on the Highway, and got counterhit into carwreck. I guess that what happens when you got a big sword but only D tier. EDIT EDIT: No I didn't *actually* get in a car wreck.
  21. Should we not post them here if they've been posted already in the General Forums? I just think it'd be good to have all the Hakumen videos in an easily accessible thread. I've already begun putting together a playlist of CS hakumen vids, dunno if I should post them here, since they would be reposts of almost all the stuff in the cs video thread in the general section
  22. I found this A-92 video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHTNCgsM6n8 (match begins around 4:30) and I think it's worth posting in this thread, for several reasons: Ryoko was right, he has excellent defense, look at him block litchi mix-ups. Also, I found it interesting that near the end of the last round, he rapid canceled back throw then air dashed into a combo of 2.C -> J.2A. Not particularly practical but I understand why he did it in that situation.
  23. Lookin forward to that greenville tournament. I've been practicin' my ace-in-the-hole. I bet half the greenville players never even seen 6D -> Mugen -> infinite. Probably won't get the opportunity to do it, but oh well. Either way, hope greenville brings their A-Game. Random sword spamming with Nu won't save you against me.
  24. Arakune looks much more winnable than before. That being said, just from watching posted videos, it looks like it will still be an uphill battle. Which is fine, just as long as it's not 8-2 uphill (and it doesn't look no where near that bad anymore.)
  25. I like to think that I'm a Blazblue Mainer over SF4. that's mostly because I have a lot more fun playing BB than SF4. We do have a scene here, but don't expect it to be bigger than SF4. Personally I mad that our ranbats feature T6 over BB here in columbia ';...;'
