  1. Well, ragna beats Hakumen, so I thought that's what put him higher. EDIT: Well, Ragna has advantage. I shouldn't necessarily say "beats"
  2. Yo, I feel like an anime fag for posting this, but I Lol'd when I saw it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwuq5ydU_gY Touched up my sig a lil'. I believe in yoshimitsu
  3. I mained Hakumen all the way through CT; no excuses for my losses. Now it's time to figure out who the real rachel players are.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ij04VrTgBk high level jackie play. EDIT: More: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Q64HsFWM5Y
  5. You always welcome at my pad to play dem gaems yo.
  6. That sounds fine dude. It'll be friday so we can up all night doing that shit. But I'd love to get some tekken practice in! Hell yes. and I can use my nifty dual-modded stick too! EDIT: Yall shoulda seen me in College/before I got a job. Final round was but a taste of my drinkin problems. xd EDIT EDIT: Lo-Pan and Shen playing tekken 6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMj3e4_XoOA
  7. Hell yah dude, When CS comes I'd be down for some XBL games with you, or whenever we cross paths at another major. :3 Oh, and just to let you know about Arakune. How fucked up is this? In CS, the Unlimited version of Arakune, is CT arakune. ROFL. I'm actually pretty mad at that!

  8. Good Job at Final Round. I was the guy screaming "Fuck Arakune" the whole time in your match with him (which was btw, the most hype match of FR imo.) Lol. You might not remember it but I gave you a handshake for that performance afterwards. EDIT: I am a Hakumen player from South Carolina. I stopped playing CT when I got my hands on CS. makes me never wanna go back and why I didn't enter the tournament myself. But I can say with confidence you got a much better H-man than I do.

  9. I want to say you can practice ragna in CT for CS, and just remember you end with his new move now. But I don't play Ragna. As for Hakumen, I feel that in terms of playstyle, he has not changed much. However, the only technical things I'd practice for H-Man for CS is hop/TK tsubaki and hotaru. those techniques are even more critical for him now in CS, since they both lead to huge damage, which wasn't necessarily the case in CT.
  10. I talked to someone at Final Round who said that in a more recent Jap Tier list, that hakumen knocked Ragna off for Third (ragna is 4th now), and that Litchi took bang's spot for first. He also said someone discovered some ridiculous psuedo-infinite combo with Tsubaki that makes her broke as shit (but it's hard to do.) Ironically, I find no information about any of this stuff on dustloop and can't find videos, am I being lied to? I think I am, just want to see if there's something I am missing.
  11. What kinda name is Spring_Raid? I think it should be Mr. Hennessy
  12. WATCHU MEAAAAAAN HAKUMEN A REAL CHAR IN CS
  13. I'm glad you have one of those jap frame data books
  14. Well shit. CS frame data needs to hurry up and be translated.
  15. He also still has akemetsu noted as a 720 motion. (it's a charge flash kick motion now.) it does have some invincibility still, for sure, but it's nothing like what it used to be.
  16. I think it's kinda dumb that flash got gayed like he did. But it's w/e. And yeah I was drunk a lot of the time this weekend. It was great. Yeah, I wanna learn to play tekken too. This weekend I had a lot of fun with it despite my limited time with it. Anyways, yeah, Arakune *lost* to Hakumen at FR. It was the highlight of the tournament. I'll be free later this week. I got your money when you come over Dwaine.
  17. Flash metroid killed the shit out of that fag's Rufus. Then he switched to balrog and LITERALLY killed him with crouching jab spam.
  18. Trust me, You will love him. I can't even play CT anymore. Like, I refuse to play that game now.
  19. I'm going to take off an hour early from work tomorrow. Gonna get packed before I leave. I'm gonna go straight from work to Atlanta. So if I can get off at 4, i'll be there around 7:30 ish, PM that is. not in the morning.
  20. Steven Seagall is hype for Final round. Are you?
  21. ... 6C was never that good in CT. Outside of a combo component after gurren, it was kind of useless. THe move is slower and does less damage uncharged, but it's shitloads safer and still has godly priority. It removes a guard primer on block. Fully charged it does a shitload of damage and fatally counters on Counter Hit (And get launched the fuck up in the air.) You can tack on a fully charged 6C After a 6D instead of having to jump C, now. It's spacing dependent, but it adds a lot of damage. and you can dash in ->2.C -> Air combo because it will launch them in the air, Big Bang Upper style as a combo component. I don't know why you'd be so WTF about 6C's damage and startup, considering that hop forward 5b -> j.b -> J.2A -> J.C does more damage anyways (even if it had CT damage) after gurren. the move is still good for the niche it fills. I dont see how you could be pissed about CS Hakumen in any way.
  22. I wouldn't go for meaty 6.C's on oki. Hakumen can remove guard primers "ok." It's definitely not something i'd go for. If you were in a situation where an opponent was in danger of being guard broken, I'd much rather go for a hop/TK Tsubaki, since it removes primers on block and yields a big damage combo on hit.
  23. His close range game, I'd say, is actually *better*. 6B still has lower body invincibility and is now an overhead. 6A is a good pressure tool, and cancels from 2a for good mix-up opportunities. He still has the fastest jab in the game. His midrange game is better, yes. But that's mostly the work of 4C, and the super improved 3C. 3C is scary as fuck at mid range now. His air-to-air game got better with j.C. His zoning game overall is a lot better. CT Hakumen needed old 6A, because he couldn't zone for shit. I'm actually surprised how useful projectile barrier is. It works so hard in matchups I didn't think it would, and gives him a good 'counter' zone ability against projectile characters, if you're good at cutting. TBH, the only thing that got worse is his anti-air game (from the ground.) I'm no pro Jap player, of course, but this is my thoughts from playing the game extensively the past month or so. EDIT: Hakumen *is* kinda ridiculous in CS.
