You rachel mains are really pissing me off. I put that vid up for you guys and NOW is when you want to start talking about it. I was so happy to find something that shows rachel's potential, rushingly tossing away all my day's appointments and skipping the drive to see my dieing friend in the hospital, I came on here to share the new discovery and hear what you guys have to say, and NOW, so many hours later, is when you want to start talking about it . I waited all day to come on here and see my favorite lollies happy again. AND NOW IS WHEN YOU WANT TO START TALKING ABOUT IT!!!!!

Wow guys, carl is on his way to stardom When you knock your opponent into the corner or they get hit with 8D in the corner, and you happen to get there in time/or you're already there, with you standing behind nirvana(wall-opp-nir-carl), do the 2D 2B unblockable if you can as they tech and procede to j2C allgretto 8D j2C allegretto 8D xn so it's pretty much in corner 2D 2B (j2C allegretto 8D)xn 2 reps is around 3500 damage, 3 reps of this is within 4200-4500 damage. 3 reps takes about half her meter. Also this is dependent on how many times 8D hits. All those are for 1 hit of 8D. Assuming you get lucky and 8D hits twice atleast 2 times, you can easily go over 5000 damage with 3 reps, easily.

Actually, as of right now, CH j5A has more potential than FC J5B. You can go into resets/loops/etc with CH j5A. I've only seen carls do a basic bnb after FC j5B, although further experimentation is needed. I'll try and test it out and see if you can do FC j5B 22D and go into some sort of loop, possibly the 2D loop?

I'll try my best. I just hope the CPU doesn't give me too much trouble in attempting it.

CS Carl is def 1000X more fun to play than CT carl. Hakumen's 4C and jump ?C are going to be carl's bane though. I mean it completely shuts carl and nirvana down, it's like there's nothing you can do. He can spam it all day. Hakumen vs Carl matches have the potential to time out everytime.

2C is a fatal counter, I'll try and explore the possibilities with this. (is it a good AA? who knows) You cant jc 6B on block When opponent is standing, you can link j5B FC into gear super, it does 2751 damage. Didn't try j5B FC into gear when opponent is in the air just yet. Although the timer for carl's astral starts at 10, it's really only 5 seconds. It comes out really really fast, and is 100% practical. Assuming Nivana is in the middle, It almost cover's the entire screen with just a small patch on both ends of the screen left. If you guys need me to test stuff out just ask. EDIT The hop allegretto is pretty nice. You have to input it fast though. Like right after you input 66 a fraction of a second later you input 214C.

Does anyone have a legit explanation?

Oh okay. lol, that's what I figured at first but then I was like is there a new super I don't know about, haha. Anyway, Zoogs and Kyle I'll like to play both of you sometime when you're free. That's the thing with carl. Now that his loop his gone, you can really tell those that will be good with him. (This is also why I love fighting hakumen in CT, now I have to concentrate on resets. Rachel on the other hand is just complete bull and can get away with so much crap against carl that I didn't include her. Whereas the hakumen matchup is more even.) Carl's tier ranking in CS is tricky. The thing about carl is that you can't afford to be decent with him if you want to win. His stats make it too easy for him to lose. He can't get away with some stuff that other characters can get away with. You really have to be good, and there's no way about it. In Ct, there are some characters that you simply have to be good with and being decent isn't enough, tager/hakumen/carl with no throw loop/taokaka/litchi, and then there are those characters with attributes/play-styles that are so easy to execute and win with that they can make a player look good, even though they are decent, jin/noel/nu/arkune/etc. That's why you see a plethora of jin/ragna/nu/arakune/etc but barely run into taokaka/hakumen/litchi/etc. Now that carl has no loop, you're even going to see less of him. Lol, now why did I just give you that lecture, lol, I don't know :grin: Anyway, I think that one of the problems some of the carls in the vids had was that they weren't really good on defense. Some were good at pressuring, but once they got pushed in the corner they just didn't know what to do. They need to start using volante as a defensive tool to get out of the corner. Kyaku does that beautifully right here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_RlFUMw8QQ#t=2m43s. How many times have I seen them use volante right infront of their opponent, then approach with nirvana while it travels. Unless your opponent just stands there and waits for it, it's not going to work. Some of them were just learning carl, but then some of the ones that knew what they were doing offensively, had no idea what to do defensively, costing them the game. 236236D? But if Nirvana is dead then the only DD you can combo into is 632146C. or what do you mean?

Does doing a super in mugen take away 50 heat? or is it like hakumen, once in mugen you can do as many as you want until it ends? Also, Ginseng have you played with Tsubaki yet?

ROTFLMAO, lets just say i've had a few bad experiences with ragna and litchi DPing/(trading hits on DP) to get out of ground loop which cost me the round/match. Air allegretto is definitely good at beating advances. The question is assuming hazama were to swing in and you jump and do allegreto, can he block it and punish afterwards. Yeah, there are definitely a lot of questions to ask.

Yeah, if they have no DP then that move is almost godsent. I've yet to see someone block it, and I keep going "Is it unblockable?". It seems like Tsubaki is all about randomness with her CC, and then mixing it up with her unblockable whip, assuming it is unblockable.
