  1. Hitconfirming all your hits into curse > loops is harder than one would think online (at least for me). I find myself dropping all my abcd > loops on anything other than yellow connection or better... and I've pretty much given up on j2a canceling (hell, even the j2a CH > 5b > abcd is hard to land consistently in delay). It's pretty frustrating sometimes, especially when you're fighting a character with much larger room for error online (aka Jin).
  2. Unless you're counting them not breaking grabs mid combo, your last combo into air command grab wasn't a black beat or dropped :P

  8. My issues is really just getting the dive to cancel into 5B, actually doing the combo into curse isn't the issue for me. When you can start telling/feeling if you did the dive cancel correctly, you'll be able to do the rest (the only way I can really do it by feel b/c if I try to do it on reaction I fail pretty much every time :\) You can at least work on doing it on counter hits. That one is pretty easy to do, and it's simple to do even online.
  9. Dive canceling properly is super hard online, though, haha. I did manage to do my first dive cancel into 2C yesterday though. Made me happy.
  10. Yeah, I drop a lot of Arakune's more frame intensive combos and moves online a lot (like the j2A cancels), but I agree. If I know what's good against what, I'll get it down eventually. BTW... I tried my damn hardest to avoid that tech > command grab trap you guys love, but you still got me with it at the end... can you start an air combo off of that jab if I don't tech... and if you do, is it less damaging than the command grab?

  11. Pretty sure that's the opposite of what most Bangs usually tell me, lol. I just don't often play good ones so I need to learn when to IB and what beats what, etc.

  13. I don't mind space against Litchi. Makes me safer from her DP. V-13 is just gay... always.
  14. You could always j2C on dive block, assuming you're keeping them locked down with bugs.
  15. If your 2A connects the 5B is guaranteed to connect if you are close enough. It's a legitimate combo so they can't jab you out of it. I will agree that random jab spam is annoying, though, lol.
  16. The 2A > 5B can't be jab spammed against, only the 2A > 6B (if you attempt it).

  19. Oh, you mean you attempt to use them but they fail (my issue was just forgetting to use them altogether)? That just takes experience then, until you can recognize when a combo will connect off a certain hit/counterhit and when won't. Nothing is going to really improve that for you except playing more.
  20. Sorry, then. Really all it takes is sitting down and practicing them, and once you have the muscle memory, you have to slowly make a conscious effort to use what you've practiced in the tense/high-paced matches.
  21. I've given helpful info before, in case you didn't notice. He said it wasn't possible to do those combos, and I told him that I have had success with most of them. EDIT: Two taunts, I approve. I usually only manage one EDIT2: I never bragged about my skills or being amazing... misinterpretations are fun, no?
  22. I land all of the combos listed in the thread in game, it took me a while to start doing so, however, and will occasionally botch one, but that's due to my own errors above all else. I also always forget to do the legit 2A > 5B > 5D on hitconfirm, don't know why, it just never occurs to me. J2A > 5B really wasn't that hard for me to figure out, and it's easy to combo into the ja>b>c>d > loop once you start hitting it. I kind of need the sound, though, b/c I do it by that a lot (it's been a habit of mine since Brawl).
  23. B might as well be released anyway when you're jBing, toss in some C/6A bugs on the way.
  24. If they airdash you should be intercepting with 6A/B/C into curse, or even 5Cing if they're obvious about it.
  25. Why would you try to CA their aerials when you know it's a grounded grab? :\
