The thing is, I'm messing with Hazama right now and I can't get his 2A to beat Haku's 2A after IBing Hotaru. Hazama's 2A is 6 frames compared to Haku's 7. I must be timing it wrong... somehow.

:3 :3 :3 On another note, I'm trying to figure out how + Hotaru is on block if you just decide to land and continue pressure. I think I figured it out a while back but I forget the exact numbers. I'm in training mode right now and I can land and block before Tsubaki's 5A hits me, which is 6 frames. I can also hit her with my 5A and score a CH first. Haku 5A is 5 frames. But on IB she can hit us first. So this means it has to be something like +2, right? And the move Tsubaki lets me land and do 5A and score a CH against her 5A even on IB.

Well. This is weird. I can even do 2A after and get a CH. No wonder I never expected it. :P I wonder why it wasn't working in our matches. Maybe a slight degree of lag made a delay or something. Haku 5A is 5 frames. I had time to do Hotaru and land the 5A before Tsubaki's 5A hit me. Her 5A is also 6 frames... But on IB, she can get the 5A out first. So I think that means Hotaru is +2? At least, it's +2 if Hotaru gets blocked and then you let yourself fall back to the ground and block or do something else. How many frames does IB shave off again. 2 or 3. And the move Tsubaki lets me land and do 5A and score a CH against her 5A even on IB.

The problem with Windows is that it is bad design. To avoid getting a virus or doing half the stuff you need to do, there are a million intermediate steps to follow that nobody would know at first glance without studying it like some sort of arcane text. I mean, just trying to figure out what the IP address of my computer at work was once ended up being a huge wild goose chase. And I know how to use it, anyway. :P I am a computer science major lol. It's from the perspective of somebody designing something that I look at it and I'm like "Why would anyone do this." It's like building a house with the front door on the second floor instead of the first.

6B. I'm gonna test Hotaru out when I get home.

Well, it depends how close I do it. Sometimes you need to run forward a bit to hit me, and that takes time. Also it depends how fast the move you are using is.

I used to have Windows also installed on my Mac since they can run both now, but it would get a virus so often that I'd have to reformat like every week. And I wouldn't even really use it for anything except playing like one game, so there's no reason for it to even get viruses. It's like hitting the ON button would just start downloading a virus. The anti-virus programs probably install the viruses themselves.

I don't mean at the start of the round, although there's that too. I mean when you're both at full screen and you're trying to get in. She can do it to pretty much anything and you can't exactly go LOL IMMA 3C HER. If she does it at point blank 3C range then it's a different story.

Playing Ctrl will make you hungry. It's part of his strategy. It's just implied at this point. :P As for 6B and Hotaru, 6B is -4 on block normally, but I can cancel it into a counter. So if I 6B and I try to poke, you will hit me if you did something first. But if I counter instead, you eat the counter. Although if you IB the second hit you should be able to hit me with like a 2A or something before I have a chance to counter. Hotaru is safe even if you IB, at least if I jump cancel, but if you IB it and I just try to land and continue pressure you should be able to hit me. I have to test it though, there's no frame data for how + on block it is.

Hotaru will hit you if you don't try to block though. So that's during your wakeup. Technically I can still hit you out of those 2As but I just kept not expecting it. :P But if I jump cancel the Hotaru then you will get hit by a j.B or other things. Of course you can then try to block > DP or something else instead, so there's more mindgames.

Don't I always do 6B or TRM. (Although usually I'm hoping it does make the person impatient since they will start making more mistakes then.) Somehow you would not get hit by Hotaru though even though you were ready to hit buttons :P If only you ate more Hotarus.

Nah you were still playing differently even with Tsubaki. I noticed it. Maybe you're just getting used to my tricks. For Tsubaki, for instance, you were doing her 3C and shield charge all over the place, normally you don't do that. Also I thought I could punish her 3C but it was practically safe. :P And you're getting better at getting charges in without letting me stop you. The 22C oki didn't work out as well this time though.

To elaborate, I noticed the times I start off silly with you, and try to switch to serious, it doesn't work that well since the first few games set you up with confidence and makes it harder to scare you into mind games. After that I'm spending the rest of the time trying to fight my way through your momentum. That and you went full Hazama and were showing zero respect the entire time (probably related to the first item), so I kept going in to do mixup and then being like "WAIT WH--?!" and getting hit. I started doing better towards the end by showing less respect myself. I thought it was weird how I would get you with just naked grabs, but not 2A > throw since that is usually what screws people's reflexes up. I'll take either one though.

That's a huge growth for you though. THE SURGE I could not stop it. I think I know what the problem was anyway. NEXT TIME, badlime. Next time.
