I just realized you can connect 5C after 2D. 2D's proration is bad though so you can't do much with it damagewise, but you can maybe have more corner carry.

Yeah, he doesn't seem that bad to me, he did better than I do. It reminds me of the old bad CT matchups. You can't win by playing it safe. You're just giving the other guy an easy win. You have to take risks and just gamble on certain reads working, like countering their mixup and stuff instead of using 6A. A lot of the times Tao goes around me to do her crossups, I think I could have 6D'd it, but I always hesitate and don't do it because I'm not sure if it's a fake out or not. But it never is. :P I'll either block it and the chain continues on or get hit.

A match is like a flow between both players. You exchange offense and defense, there's nothing wrong by definition of being on defense. You just have to wait until it's your turn to attack again, basically. What you should do is spend a few matches deliberately trying to block things, and not worry about winning or losing. After a while it should become easier to see what's coming and deal with it.

Just because you can win a matchup doesn't mean you have to enjoy it. Imagine if you're Tao and are beating Tager. It's probably boring as fuck. Or from Tager's side, even if you win, it's frustrating.

I think you can get way more damage off Heart Car than a sword. Sword just gives you about 3k.

I think you guys should use 6A against Toan more after GF. Every time Mucky GF'd him last time, Toan would backdash out. 6A would catch jumpouts too, along with non-low moves.

So if there was a move that was like -20 on block, and it's level 4, and you RC it, you'd still be +18?

I don't get how the level stuff interacts with + or - frames. I mean, if a 5A is +5 on block or something, then what else do you need to know. How do the levels come into it.
