Yeah, I don't get what's so good about earbuds. They probably get all ear-waxy. I like big muffin style headphones, although some of them hurt my ears after a while.

Actually, when I talked to Mike Z at ECT he was of the opinion that Tager is worse now than he's ever been. He thinks he was best during CT. I think there is something to that. He did a lot more damage then, even though he was a worse character overall.

Are we talking about good players here? Usually beginners don't understand the game well enough to realize how much more they can develop their skills.

He obviously thinks it's worth it considering how much he's playing online. You get matchup experience.

You could just show up and have fun hanging out with everyone. Didn't you have fun meeting everyone at ECT? I mean, I don't even play this game but I still show up and play it. Depends how far it is and how much it costs though.

ECT was good. I liked the venue. And hanging with everyone was pretty fun, for the time I had. I wanted to get some casuals in with some people like Danny and Hellknight but never got a chance.

You mean when Hakumen is comboing? The mention of counters confused me since you wouldn't be able to use a counter after a super or 2 star special.

Watched some of the Haku fight. Your pressure is good but your zoning is weak. I could see him effortlessly getting in on you. Or at least I was thinking "I could get in on this easily" when I was watching it. Usually against a good Mu they can almost make it so you can't even move, whereas you had huge openings that let him dash through. I felt like Din was letting you get away with a lot of stuff. You managed to make a huge comeback though so that was good.

Tager's 5A is huge. It shouldn't be fast.

Isn't CS2's just strictly better than CS1's Yukikaze? What's the benefit of CS1's?

Hakumen can actually counter you out of ID if he expects it. 6D will smack him out of it since it will outlast the invincibility. His other counters will rape you too since ID will just whiff through him and then he can get a punish. Here's an example. And here. And his counters DO start on frame 1. :P Just not 5D. And they're invincible. lol

Worse than Tao? That's hard to imagine.

Satoshi probably just didn't expect Dacid to play how he did, then adapted. That doesn't mean he wasn't familiar with the matchup. I mean, if I fight a Ragna, I might not expect them to do wakeup ID or something 5 times in a row, but that doesn't mean I don't know the matchup.

Her drive makes sense for her character, since it's supposed to be her dodging around people's attacks like the Matrix.

Eh, I'm not convinced... every time a character has some overpowered asset they get defended by saying "If you get hit, you deserved it." It was true for j.D They said that about getting cursed by Arakune too in CT. "Just don't get cursed!" Usually the drives go through something to a move already thrown out... you don't just randomly drive with Noel so the other player can 5A you. You'd probably wait til they commit to a move and then drive through it. I wouldn't put Noel's drives up there with things like that though.

Why not just try to win and see what they do along the way?

They had to stop all the Hakus running amok through CS1 Shippuing everyone, after all.
