  1. Yeah, I'm just saying that his counters are even worse off than CS, which was worse off than CT, and in CT it was already inadvisable to use them. I think it makes more sense that the reward should justify the risk, especially since it's his drive. Sure, other reversals don't give that much damage either, but his drives now give no damage, and on top of that counters are harder to use and riskier anyway so they should get a little extra. (You don't have to decide between high/low/throw when doing a DP, for example.)
  2. Cool story, bro. It serves a purpose; I use counters more than anyone. But the risk reward keeps getting stacked against it, is all I'm saying. I guess all those japanese Hakumen's are wrong.
  3. Why take the risk when you can just block or poke out? You get no damage off them, if you mess up or it whiffs, you're dead, and in CS everyone does an ass load of damage off every random poke. Might be different in CS2 though.
  4. A lot of the power of counters comes from the mind games -- it makes the player second guess themselves, and respect your defense. They have to change their play style to deal with the counters, and you get in their head. This gives you a lot more openings. But that only works if there's an actual reason to be scared of it -- if the counters do no damage, then it's pointless.
  5. So you're saying his counters are godlike? No wonder they're never used! j.D could take a slight damage nerf, but there's nothing wrong with it in principle. You can't handle a slow counter that only hits moves that you could see coming a mile away? Maybe you should stop throwing those out. :P Actually, nevermind that about the damage, considering it's his ONLY good counter. But in CS2 where everyone else got their knees shot, it's fine to expect nerfs to bring him in line with the rest. They went completely overboard though.

  16. <3 I think I'm the only one who likes it :P MY SECRET It doesn't have much horizontal range though. But after I kept getting hit out of slower C moves by Jin and others I had to improvise. My favorite is using it for crossups.

  19. By the way, the one thing with his j.C is it doesn't hit below him, so if you get under it you can make it whiff. Although with Tager it might be harder... Shervin does some gay shit like 2D under j.C for CH or B Sledge if he predicts the j.C, which makes me land right into it... but if I expect it I can just not do j.C. Of course if I don't do j.C, you don't have to do anything.
