  1. I think you were zoning me a lot harder this time. I kept dropping combos tonight. :( Every match was down to like no time or no life though.

  2. Axis: *wakeup DP* mAc: *runup DP*

  3. Nah, I was just on to play Axis at the time, but then it started lagging like crazy and that's when you messaged me. But then it cleared up and I played my games with Axis that's all. I usually get on when someone calls me out to get on, so that means I'll be there to play a specific person or people. I'm fine with playing you though. :3

  4. This is already outdated but this is what I mean Blade of Justice about the range. j.C xN: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8pbVS7FVQU&feature=related I want to call you Blade but that doesn't sound right. Of course, if you're magnetized, all that j.C business goes out the window.
  5. Is that something I could throw out expecting a neutral tech but would catch a roll anyway, or would I have to wait for the roll and THEN do it? It matters since if it's the latter I'd have to basically give up the wakeup game.
  6. How about stopping roll outs in the corner? If you get Lambda in the corner, for instance...
  7. If you're getting hit out of j.C, you're doing it wrong. You should be able to do it without getting hit. You must be getting too close for it. 2C works too but... it gets him in a lot closer.
  8. Well, it's possible to be a scrub and still good. :P It's not like he was hating on you. I wouldn't think someone was dissing me per se if I went to a tournament and they thought my Hakumen was scrubby. That's not an insult, it would just be a fact, like having inexperience. Depending on how they said it. :P
  9. Me neither.
  10. Was that Litchi's VA for the Litchi lines?
  11. He can cancel into his counter from pretty much all his As and Bs.
  12. Yeah, 5A beats jump start up. And according to Mike Z, Tager can AC you out of Hotaru, and out of Gadget.
  13. Your sig is awesome. People think the same thing with counters.

  14. Look at Astaroth's sig.

  15. 3C is the same speed as CT though. I still love it. Actually I don't think any are faster, just safer.

  16. Why can't you use 4DD that much? I noticed I actually have enough time to hop out between it.

  17. I think my defense has actually suffered since CT. The game is so much slower, we kind of get "spoiled" because it's relatively easier... I tried going back to CT and autopilot Nu's were wrecking me. Then again Nu was always a threat no matter what level the player was at. When I read your comment about you getting nipped once and losing so much life after doing so well, I thought of this match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGSPiZLjXJc Watch the first round. :P But look how much I blocked! #_# I kept getting hit by so much stuff tonight. Just something to work on I guess.

  18. Also, I felt like every time I won it was just barely by the skin of my teeth, or every match came down to the wire. You'd have me locked out the entire round, then I'd finally get my one chance and there'd be like one second left. It seems most Haku players still think Lambda can zone him out pretty bad. If you get a life lead and abuse the timer then you can force Haku to have to change his play style, and then he's screwed. I dunno if you heard, but they're gonna make Haku a full time zoner in CS2, making him the only true zoner aside from Lambda. :P Well, it's not official but that seems to be where his move changes are headed... faster C moves, no followups on counters (bang.gif), every special knocks full screen (less combos) and slow star gain... It'll be interesting. :P

  19. I thought you were doing pretty good, you just weren't destroying me like usual. :P I don't think Lambda's mixup is that bad, but it's probably just from playing you and Nu so much in CT, everything pales in comparison. As for her damage, I can see why they did it. If she's a zoner who's supposed to keep you out then her primary method of winning isn't supposed to be damage but just nipping you to death over time and keeping you out. If she could also deal a ton of damage then :P At the same time Hakumen only gets in like once so he has to be able to end it right then and there or he'd never win, so that's why there's such a huge swing. Although the matchup kind of forces that too since you make me sit on my stars, so when I come in I have 8 and any time Hakumen has 8 stars he's going to hit like a bus. Against Ragna and others it gets used up in short bursts so it's not as extreme a shift.

  20. So, it's been a while since this thread was made and the game came out. Anything change in this matchup or is it still pretty much the same? I've heard some people express that it's really Hakumen's advantage, and others think that Lambda can shut him down pretty well. Is it still 5-5? The idea that it's "7-3" in favor of Haku or Lambda depending on if you're close or not makes sense though. I suppose I think it's 5-5, but I'm curious if there were any developments.
  21. It works every time. :P They try to burst, you hold Shippu and hit them before they recover. Unfortunately it doesn't do CT damage though, so you actually will get more damage from the normal BnB combo, and for less stars to boot. But it's still worth it in certain situations. Actually, you'll probably get a similar amount of damage, but it's 4 stars VS 2.
  22. All this reminds me of Marn here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_I4Ly5RVAk&feature=player_embedded If his head gets any bigger he might float away. :P
  23. You think so? What kind of things helped? I feel like he still has me on the ropes, especially with the corner lockdown :P He used to DP all the time, or at least once per round, but I stagger my blockstrings to watch for it and he refuses to get baited :P

  24. I like how the matches I had with you guys came down to like 1% life every time.
