  1. These changes are actually kind of exciting. Everything is being moved around so much. Who knows what the game will play like when it's all done. I wonder how the Haku Lambda matchup will be like.
  2. I don't like the teching off sweeps. Not sure what they're trying with that.
  3. Axis is psychic.
  4. Well, I think Hakumen and Tager would need something for their fights against zoners. Tager's always had a problem making people actually be afraid of jumping out. Bang already has that covered eight different ways, and the zoners don't need it.
  5. lol, 5B? That doesn't make as much sense as 5C. For this to work though they'd have to give something like that to all the characters.
  6. I guess Jin and Ragna's 5C buffs could be Arc's answer to jump out barrier that people always hate?
  7. Waiting for: Hakumen: - C attacks heal the opponent.
  8. JIN IT TO WIN IT I keep thinking Eirei is trolling us. :P 5C unblockable would be good at stopping jump outs.
  9. lol I just heard a phrase on this SF stream that describes what happened to me last night when you start mind gaming yourself into an infinite loop: "mentally guard crushed." :P

  10. These still stack onto the old changes right?
  11. Sophisticat is right. When the CS loketests were going around everyone thought they made Tager smaller, remember? But it turned out they'd just zoomed out the screen, and doing that means you have more room to move around with. Although that's not really the biggest reason either way anyway. How is the speed even up for debate? Just look at how long the rounds take, etc.
  12. Wouldn't it be better to share as much information so everyone improves :P At least for me, I want to improve and win even though people know what I'm up to, instead of winning because there was something they didn't know. That way they would try and come up with counter measures, and I would have to learn and adapt with counters of my own.
  13. Oh, wow. O_o I didn't even know they made them that cheap wtf.

  14. I was gonna show you this HD capture card for mac. It's pretty good since there aren't any HD cap cards for mac aside from this one and it's pretty new. I have the SD version... I was thinking of getting the HD version on top of it but I don't know if it's really worth it. :P http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/mainmenu/products/EyeTV-HD/product1.en.html

  15. You can't "punish" that move. It's like his most unpunishable move. It stuns you for far too long to do anything but block. Just don't hit buttons if you block his 6A.
  16. Yeah, I haven't been playing that much either. You saw the slaughter that occurred :P You think I was more defensive, really? Interesting. Well, CS Haku does kind of force you to zone... I accepted it after a lot of raging. :P 4C doesn't help against 214D! I mean, if he does it full screen for some dumb reason I can 4C it, but there's a "sweet spot" where she's too close to throw out 4C because I'll get hit out of its startup, and a lot of the time Arcade does it as I'm getting up, so I don't even have time to throw it out; I get up and it's already on me. That's why I ended up countering it so much. :P I have to figure a way to deal with it but so far it's just an airtight lockdown if I get caught in the corner.

  17. But I thought this matchup was 7-3 Haku
  18. *looks up Kusaregedo* Oh god, no. That looks like something out of Super Metroid. It's just a reference to Hakumen's Mugen combo :P TSUBAKI xN It would be neat if you could figure some stuff out for that. When I fight some Lambdas their favorite thing to do is IAD back and get ready to j.D anything I do to get out of pressure and it works pretty well for them. If I try to psychic it and IAD j.C after them, half the time they just sit there crouching and I'll end up IADing across the screen and giving them back their zoning :P
  19. "OS X"? Do you use a Mac?

  20. Argh. You're so lost. :P Do you have an idea of how footsies work in general? To be fair... it doesn't really come up with Tager that much... Actually scratch that, you have to have strong basics to play Tager well, but I meant that his main game landing command throws and such.
  21. Good... good. Did you just play Axis?
  22. Anyway, I just wanted to say, sure CS is newer and is more balanced, but it's not exactly new for an older version of a fighting game to have adherents over a newer version. Everyone hated SF3 when it first came out and now a lot of players prefer SF3 over SF4. And SF2 is still considered the best out of all of them despite being the oldest. :P It was also the least balanced and most hilariously broken one of them all, with 7-3 matchups all over the place and "touch of death" combos and such. So what? That's what made it fun. Marvel VS Capcom 2 is the most broken thing ever but people get so hype over it they bet their cars. If CS was just CT + nerfing the top three + the new characters it would have been the better game than CS as it is now, in my book. CS is still good, it's just... I enjoyed CT more. CS is more balanced (although it still has... its fair share of problems) but CT was the better and funner fighter. This ends my off topic post.
  23. Do you mean, less trouble in CT?
