  7. This is normal. Rachel is quite a weak character at neutral when she has nothing out. The beginning of the round is a pivotal point for her, because you can get rushed down before you can get anything out and get put in a very disadvantageous position right off the bat. Although, keep in mind that Rachel's anti-air(6a) is probably the best anti-air in the game; it beats everything from the front and even some from the back and leads to a corner carry combo on any counter hit. Also, her j.c prevents anyone to win air combat with her when they are above her; it beats pretty much everything and leads to a ground juggle combo from any hit when you have wind and jump cancel available. Those two attacks are Rachel's best tools at neutral, abuse them.
  8. about Izayoi pressure, there's basically holes everywhere. I always have to keep guessing because if you just hold up-back you'll escape if i do 66j.c into 66j.c. Then again, if i go into 2b from 66j.c you'll get hit, so that's where the guessing comes from. Rachel isn't very mobile so that makes it a lot easier for Izayoi to start her mixup than other characters, but if you don't get in that position in the first place, which is relatively easy against Izayoi because she doesn't have a good neutral game, you just avoid the problem completely. You can also use cat chair, but it's risky. As for Rachel's instant overheads, you need to be winding straight down instead of doing j3d. The moment you get someone to block a pumpkin or a frog at close range, you can go straight into j.2da > b, and there's fuzzy guard setup from there if they block it - you either touchdown and go 2b, or jump again and the wind will still be in effect so you'll be in range to hit with j.a. But before that, you need to work on your neutral game and getting your zoo out. Figure out when to summon the pumpkin; when you make them block a lobelia, when you make them block sword iris, after a 3c ender midscreen (better than frog). When you got pumpkin coverage you can do pretty much everything you want, it gives you the means to safely summon a frog and start throwing lobelias without fear of being rushed down since if they do, you can just wind the pumpkin straight in their face. From there, the point is to make them block frog so you can go into your instant overhead mixup.
  9. ça achète des sticks à 200-300 piasses pis ça se promène avec des bottes trouées... PRIORITIES
  10. ArcSys really needs to release more gameplay footage and trailers. It baffles me every time how bad they are at PR and at creating hype for their games.
  11. I think what this boils down to is that we don't have enough setups at foonzo. 3 stations for 15+ people is clearly not enough. I agree with most of the points that Dhaos made in the sense that to improve, you have to play more. If only the best get to play for extended periods of time, they will get more chances to practice and improve than the newcomers. This is obviously quite detrimental to the community as a whole because it becomes a top player circlejerk. Which brings me to my own point, that there being not enough stations at foonzo. If each console has 4+ players on it, with matches usually taking around 5 minutes, when you lose it takes around 15 minutes to get to play again with 5 players. You can't improve much when you only play 1/4 of the time you spend at foonzo. if we had more stations it would make it a lot easier to get to play more often.
  12. all forcebreaks are gone from the game, the moves on them along with it
  13. i'd like to know how much frames it takes for a 66C to come out in GA mode. Anyone has an idea?
  14. is there a RC trick on 2nd hit or something like there is for ground grabs?
  15. well, the point of this is to fall faster from a hoverdash hop, so it's useful in that sense. I guess the best use for this is after a blocked 236D so while they're getting pounded by swords you have access to a faster mixup. Also, in neutral situations, if they try to jump out they will get grabbed. Speaking of which, what's the best confirm for her airgrab? The best i can do it seems is something like airgrab > hop j.c > 5c > j.b > j.c > j.b > j.c > noir edge > strike fall, is there something i'm missing?
  16. yeah, as an added bonus you get a airgrab if they try to jump out of your mixup
  17. Has it been mentioned that you can use the airgrab whiff during hoverdash to cancel it early and make yourself fall faster?
  18. wtf kokonoe, what where they THINKING
  19. Yeah, that sure is confusing. So it's not cancellable, it's a link.
  20. Speaking of things we're not able to do, I can't seem to be able to cancel strike fall into justice phorizer. Is there a special trick to it, or is the timing just really REALLY strict?
  21. Oh? Is that why Kliff and Justice haven't officially been in the game between GGone and +R, almost 15 years?
  22. Just spreading the word on Aristobule, a person living in japan and trying to raise some money from us so he can buy a hidden miniaturized camera so he can bring us some real loketest footage. I know the MTL community is a really great one, so anyone interested in pitching in is most welcome, as this would benefit us quite a lot in the long run for anyone interested in sneak peaks at loketests. Here's the donation page http://kakkoii.fr/ with detailed information on costs, what's getting bought, and donators (with shtkn being awesome as usual)
  23. You have to remember that mikado streams pretty often on their www.twitch.tv/joniosan account. Gotta be quick though, because the videos disappear from the archive after a week or so.
