Isn't match-up knowledge important for every character? Is there a difference in how much match-up knowledge say a Jin or Carl needs vs how much a Lambda or Litchi needs? -

sure. why not? don't expect much though. I haven't been playing much and am working on getting rid of bad habits.

You had trouble against me when CS came out because it felt like you were trying to out-turtle me, and no one can out-turtle me. Your fighting style felt like it changed a lot. You had the best spacing of all the Haku I've fought and an uncanny timing for knowing when to throw me...
It made me realize i have to work on my dashing (and throw teching). Thanks for the matches. -

I didn't think there were other people playing BB in Rochester. We need to play sometime. We might get play in the mythical '4' connection I hear tales about.

As long as we can IB->Backdash, we shouldn't have a problem until we are in the corner.

I am pretty sure you if the Hazama is competent, you can only IB it and potentially 5A if he draws himself. You could also try moving yourself into a position where his j4D won't hit you. But that would just let him hit you with something else if he reacts right As said before, Hazama is better than Lambda at pretty much every range, so you just have to have solid defense and try to AA him. Stickbug's advice is probably the best you can get.

When I fight Hakumen, I try to stay at a distance where i can punish Kishuu with 3C and I can stop his IADs with swords. This match-up is relatively slow and a lot of time can be spent just waiting for the other one to move. I think that everything important has been said by other people already. And can Hakumen gatling his drive from any of his normals?

His wolf form has a command grab, which you didn't mention. He can change his dash direction 4 times i believe before he runs out of gauge and it seemed hard for me to stop his approach with swords. Might just be a lack of match-up experience though. His wolf form's 214A/B seemed to clash with 6A a lot also. His 632146D travels the same distance that Lambda's 5C hits. It blows through everything. If you are able to, you can DP it after the super flash easily or just IB it and punish with CH 5C(1) combo. You should also be careful cause he can RC it at any point and try to go for a mix-up(like his command grab). His 6C is pretty slow and telegraphed so you can DP it on reaction if you are in range. Or at least I could.

Is Rachel so easy to beat that we don't even need a match-up thread for her? Although this match-up seems pretty simple and easy for Lambda. So, anyone got any strategies or nice Rachel combos to share?
