  1. I would do it if it was against Taokaka, Valkenhayn, and Hakumen since they get crossed up by the 6C. Pull that off in a tournament and people will be like "lol, look at that shit. What did he just do?" lol. That and it's easier than the Sekkajin combo in the corner. That's a decent alternative to the standard DP loop combo and it's easier. I personally prefer TCSyd's corner combo since it builds a monster amount of meter but this one's good if what you want is damage and simplicity.
  2. Good stuff, keep them coming. The thread is just about finished. Just gotta go back and add some combos I missed, some general notes regarding combos in the first post, add some Gold Burst and super starter combos, and do character specific testing.

  4. START. POSITION. Mid-screen is a little vague when dealing with EX Jin, we need specific positions in mid-screen in order to optimize our combos.
  5. Nearly 4.6K off a j.2C CH starter from the match start position. We in there with the damage in this game.

  10. I had to look at it again but why are you ending the combo with DP B? If there's a 214C at the end of that combo then I might just add it to our list. Speaking of that. I'm almost done, just the j.2C and misc. combos to go.
  11. Then again, the amount of time that you can delay 214A is also pretty damn strict to the point where it's also unpractical lol.
  12. Yeah, that's what I was testing earlier but the way I did it was by delaying 214A by a frame or two. In that same note, if you delay the 214A on Hakumen, Taokaka, and Valk, you won't cross them up with 6C.

I'm not gonna add combos that end with supers as that's more of an option that you might not always have available. @Vance - I liked that former 6B combo you posted and if it weren't for the 44 DP B, I'd probably add it. I wish I had the execution to pull that off lol. @Rewenger - nice find on that link. I didn't think 214A (whiff) > 6C would combo with those throw combos.

  15. I finally got around to some of your combos, xlolxlolx, and you sir are a genius. Specially that second 5D CH combo in the corner. Edit: Almost done, I'm just missing combos for j.2C, 6D, specials, supers, and some throw combos. I'm burned the fuck out for today.
  16. You have to buffer the dash input during j.C. Also, you have to very slightly delay the j.C.
  17. I'll test it out later. I'm gonna try and get all the combos for every starter done by today and then I'll go back and re-optimize.
  18. Good stuff on the first one, that was a typo on my part as that 214C was supposed to be 214A. The second one, you wanna make sure that the opponent is not able to air tech after the second 214A. I'll test it out in a bit. I forgot about the DP B > 66 6C option near the corner for each starter. I'll have to go through each starter again and add that option to the list. Nice find on that last one. Thanks bud. Edit: I tried that 5A/2A AA corner combo and they do air tech if we're to lengthen the combo like that. I'm just gonna leave it as is. That and I prioritize the extra 1 point of Heat over 52 points of extra damage lol.

  20. The problem comes with the whole "might bet bounced out of the corner" thing. I think I'll add a notation involving that combo branch and the various options that come with it at different distances (Walk back 5C if too far away, 2C at optimal distance, 44 5C if too close). I'm halfway done with the combo thread. All that's left are combos from C, D, special moves, and throw. The combos from j.2C are going to make me cry as there are so many fucking variations and options to it. Everything else I'll just glide through.
  21. 6B CH starter, 5.1K damage and 66 Heat. Works from match start position and close to the corner. Jin? Nerfed? As if.

  23. lol, there's so much clutter in that thread that I just gave up on cleaning it all up and just started anew. I did save all of what you and TCSyd posted since you guys come up with most of the good shit. I just have to go through it again and see what's good.
