Huh, it's much easier to do the short Hammer loop variant in this one. I couldn't do it for the life of me in CSII and now I can do it without effort or timing.

I know for a fact that if you omit that 66 5C and do j.D > AD > j.2C > stuff you'll get more damage.

Anything in particular that you need to work on? I'd say that you start with learning combos. Next, move on to block-strings and hit-confirms.

Not really, the few changes are that you can slap as many 6Cs in your combos as you possibly can. In the other hand, you should only use 2C in combos once because of the repeat proration.

Things I found at the lab from the few minutes I've played today. 6A CH has definitely been nerfed, the only thing I can do mid-screen is 6A CH > 66 5B > stuff. DP C's hit-box seems to have been nerfed as well.

I don't really like EX Jin to be honest. His 214A combos are lulz but I'd much prefer the combo flexibility he had in CSII.

Good, I expect you to one-up some of those combos I posted. Check out the 5A combo thread. Edit: Done with the 5A combos. I'm sure people can do better stuff near the corner, I'm not used to those 214A combos yet. I'll do it like this, one starter, one thread per day.

lol I just noticed it, it used to have the Cs' slash sound effect and now it sounds like a very weak slash. Still, people were exaggerating about the hitstun nerf, shit feels exactly the same to me minus the air CHs.

I wish I could feel as hype as I should but man, the lack of sleep is starting to catch up with. On an unrelated note, goddamn, 5A's proration was nerfed to hell. Can't do much after it like in CSII lol.

I'll be making a temporary thread for us to post our combos for each starter. It'll be much easier to keep track of things that way.

Some people might have better combo ideas than others. We'll use the best combo for each starter and slap it on the Combo Thread/Wiki. I'll have a combo for each starter within the next few hours so don't worry too much about the time efficiency. From there, I'll just wait for people to one-up my combos if possible.

Poor Jin, forever dealing low damage even with a FC starter, the corner, and a Gold Burst. Hell I think he would have done more damage if the actual ice shattering damage came through. That would have been 3K plus let's say another 3K from the corner combo without the use of a Gold Burst lol.
