  1. No one in their right mind would use the Hell's Fang follow-up without 50 Heat and even that is a rare sight. What the hell does "BELIAL EDGE>ICE CAR (in terms of combos)" even mean? Giving advice without having actual match-up experience is not a smart thing to so I won't even talk like I know what I'm talking about. Just know that 6B will most likely come after his 2A or 2B, try to IB Hell's Fang and bait a possible DP afterwards.
  2. Heheh, be sure to let me know that you're just warming up next time :P

  3. lol yeah, I wasn't even paying attention to the Guard Libra meter when I was spamming those j.236Ds XD

  4. Sorry about earlier, my dumbass brother was messing around with the router.

  5. That "1/30 Chariot Zakiyama vs Dennou" video was posted a while back, not that it matters really but here's the link to the video that was posted in 2/11: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIOdGHxMgfY&feature=player_embedded I can't remember if it was posted in this thread or not but once again, it doesn't really matter. I just remembered that video because of how both Dennou and Zakiyama finished their matches with their respective Astral Finishers.
  6. That sound like a good idea, add me if you want to play some matches in the future. My PSN ID is Moi_X7.

  7. lol, you got me good on that 1st match but then I got my groove back on XD

  8. Just like it sounds but without pronouncing like the French would. Think of it like "Moy" XD

  9. Thought I'd add one to the list... In the corner (requires at least 28 Heat)... 623D > 5C > 6C > DC > j.B > j.C > JC > j.C > 214D > 2C > 623B > 623A for 6288 Damage. A replacement for the standard 623D > 6C corner combo, very easy to pull off. You can release D a little after the enemy is frozen instead of actually timing it. You have to be really close to the corner in order for it to work, otherwise you'll have to dash > 5C after the 2nd hit of 623D. You'll also have to super jump B instead of simply j.B after the dash cancel in order for it to work on Arakune, Carl, Nu and Bang (damn you guys and your weird hit boxes!). Oh and careful with Tager, as you know, Tager has a tendency to somehow squeeze Jin in the corner in certain combos (this one included), has messed me up a couple of times online
  10. ... or you could stick with the standard Back Throw > 214A (whiff) > 5C > 2C > sJC > j.C > JC > j.C > j.214B that works on most, if not every character and goes for a little over 3000 Damage, 24 Heat and knockdown. Now I like that CH 236A combo, very situational but nice nonetheless (well really I'm just amazed that 2D links after a 236A CH).
  11. Not to be an asshole but this thread has no place for crap like this... 2 pink throws in a "combo" that starts from 214D...
  12. It's not that situational, you simply add 236B before 214C to the usual Air BnB. No, you can't special cancel another special move, the recovery time for the various Aerial Ice Blades has been reduced enough to allow combos (except for j.236D which has more recovery time) a bit after they land.
  13. Practice, practice, practice... Noel's 3C should be the least of your worries, hell if anything you should look forward to a random 3C so that you can punish it.
  14. I'm also glad that they removed the "wiggle your way out of the freeze state", there's a lot of people out there who rely heavily on this stupid gimmick.
  15. Practice is all there is to is, with time you'll learn just exactly when to stop mashing C without relying on watching the combo count or listening to the sound effects.
  16. ^^ I believe that's a command throw. Taken from the "Hazama Complete Guide":
  17. It's alright to ask questions but please do a teensy bit of research beforehand, this is why some people here get really irritated when people like you don't bother to read before asking questions. Can you guess where I got this information from?
  18. Heh and here I get some sort of nuclear weapon as an added bonus, I'll put it to good use :D

  19. I'll be sure to post some pictures when I get the Slap Chop XD

  20. The "Shadow vs R-1" link is incomplete/doesn't work.
  21. You can, although I sometimes mess up the input and end up crashing my Ice Car right into a full sword combo. If you can do it consistently, go for it.
  22. Lol, does the Ice Arrow keep them in place? I haven't been keeping up with the plethora of CS videos, so I haven't seen this in action. If they're doing that, wouldn't it be better to use 6D > 623A after the Ice Arrow?
  23. What the... wouldn't 6A knock the opponent to the ground, that which would cause 623A to miss? That's also a lot of Heat to be spent for a mere 4.7K damage. I wonder how much damage one can get out of 623D > 6C > 6D > 5C > sJC > j.2C > 214D > 2C > 623B > 623A (near the corner). It was 6.5K in CT, I would randomly estimate that it would do about 4K in CS
  24. I never said anything about "best high damaging combos" so I don't know where you got that from. The guy asked "What's Jin's best attack to punish with? (CT and CS)". So I responded with 5B/5C taking CT into account. Unless you like to punish with 2C in CT that is. Sorry, 2C just didn't come to mind at the moment, given how slow the move is in CT and I wouldn't really know if it's safe or not seeing how I haven't played CS yet. Let's move on then, shall we? As PozerWolf said before, this thread is getting cluttered with useless posts such as this one. You punish with 5B/5C in CT, you punish with 2C in CS, done.
