Haha, reminds me of the Plat 5C > j.C > j.2C > 66 5A link. Some people in the Plat boards came at me like "is that even possible?" lol

The match-up itself should be slightly in Plat's favor but what really kills Plat here is that Makoto has a really weird hurt-box that makes it incredibly hard or even impossible to do certain BnBs. Noel has the same weird hurt-box that prevents Plat from using certain BnBs. So I use Jin against those two characters lol.

Yeah, I used to hate fighting Tsubaki myself because of her tricky strings where she makes it look like you can push buttons but in fact it's a way to frame trap you and her 22D shenanigans are what I truly hate about her. Then I played Errol for extensive periods of time, learned most of what she could do (or what he could do) and thought "Huh, this isn't too bad, lol".

Yeah, Plat's OD doesn't seem too promising. MJ Missiles, Bombs, and Hammers are the only items that truly benefit from infinite uses. I wonder if some of Plat's moves get buffed during OD like with some other characters such as Jin (his EX specials) or Tager (some of his moves get new properties).

The people who post in this thread are pretty much what remains of the PS3 community, which isn't that bad really. All in all, about 10 people still play this game regularly, with a variety of characters.

Yeah, no one has really sat down and messed with Platinum combo as it seems. The again, it took Plats a good while to come up with good stuff in CSE. In the end, people were still dropping combos and not doing optimal stuff lol. Hell I only saw a few Plats doing the Pan Install corner combos and those do a shitload of damage in CSE. A 5A confirm with that turns into 4K+ and almost all of your Heat back. It still hasn't been that long, so give them more time. If nothing comes up by the end of January, I'm gonna be disappointed in Japan, give up on them, and just wait until I get my hands on the game lol.

TK Hizangeki looks like a pretty decent OH. It leads to 4K+ in the corner lol. 6A is supposedly more than +1 on hit and it builds 5 Heat alone. It won't be a total waste to throw those out during pressure anymore.

You have to take into account that Gio is one of the stronger Tao players (more like one of the only 2 Taos in NA lol). He plays Tao, so he had to learn when and how to mash out of pressure. Jin's backdash is horrible though, you're better off just doing IB Barrier to push Tsubaki out and jump out or IB > DP. Jin doesn't have to mash jabs/5B to get out of pressure since he has the luxury of IB > reversal. Then again, Tsubaki can just jump cancel a bunch of crap and bait it so I guess throwing out an IB 5A/5B from time to time wouldn't be a horribly bad idea. I personally don't mind blocking Tsubaki and build meter with IBs as long as I need to. She can't really open you up unless she has stocks for her UB setups. When I block Tsubaki it's like I'm blocking Jin, I have nothing to worry about as long as they don't have meter/stocks. lol, I hear that dilemma. My 50 inch Bravia is setup so that I can just lay down on my bed and play games. My ASUS doubles as my desktop screen and fighting game screen. So if I'm feeling extremely lazy and just wanna lay down on my bed and play games, I can't play fighting games on that behemoth because of input lag. I use an ATI TV Wonder card. Originally, I just used that thing to watch TV on my desktop screen when I was ultra poverty tier. Then I found out that I could record stuff with it and was like "sweet". I think I accidentally found out that I could do that lol.

Yeah, the quality is pretty good. I recommend that you set the camera on a hard surface so that you don't have to hold it and to prevent shaky footage. That's only if you plan on using that camera for future uploads.

I'll add to this, Sadeyo, and say that you need to sit down in training mode for a bit and work on your confirms. Last time we played, I wasn't really worried about getting hit at all lol.
